In this video I'll be showing you how to make customizable book/iPad sleeve.
If you don't wanna make strawberry squares, you can make your own sleeve by using the desgin of the square you want.
But make 4 or 8 squares first and start watching this from ''How to attach the square".

For this project, I used 5 ply milk cotton with a 3.5 mm crochet hook!
If you are gonna make other granny squares, make 4 or 8 or more first.

I super love this project!! I made a mistake and made 6 granny squares (and was left with a limited amount of yarn) so the back part isn’t too pretty but i love it anyway!
Small tips for anyone watching:
1) keep the end parts of your yarn long and weave every part or a big majority inwards so that the frayed ends don’t appear outside (looks ugly and my biggest regret)
2) if you want the slip stitches to appear outside, you have to slip stitch the two parts together with the outside (or better looking side) showing. If not, you can slip stitch with the inside part showing and it will be almost invisible!
3) trust in the “chain 2 then dc” instruction because if you chain 3, it will bulge at the end and if you want the project even and relatively straight, it is not what you want.

For the small pouch, make 2 granny squares and attach them together.
Next add the top part and cover ♡

How many squares do I need if I want it the size of an A4 book?
Btw how many yarn balls did it take you?
For A4 , use 2 balls of 50 g for main colour (white) and make 8 squares or more but make the square to Round 6♡
Is it okay to don't make granny squares for the back of bag?

Not really! The strawberries are made by fixed pattern so It would be jard to follow the pattern if you double the stitches.
The best option would be making bigger squares or more squares♡

For the square without strawberry, you will have to watch other tutorial of normal basic granny square

How do u start this without a magic circle
Chain 3 or 4 then slip Stitch into the first chain. Then you can crochet into the middle!
