    im honestly so impressed how you just switch colors, one time i was making a sweater with 2 colors and when i was done with the first sleeve it fell apart. idk maybe bc i just did the 'carry on' for switching colors

    my only advice would be to leave longer tails of yarn at the beginning and end of your work so you can use a needle to hide your ends. ymmv 🌸

    I've seen 3 or 4 other grid crochet tutorials about changing color...but *none* of them show the back of the work. Very frustrating because you know there's yarn just hanging out there. "The front looks great, but how much of a mess is the back? I dunno, it's a big secret.' lol Thank you for clearly showing the "floating yarn" and satisfying my curiosity. :) Very good tutorial from you, very clear.

    istg this tutorial hurt my brain😭 but not because it wasn't explained well, it was just so so sooo hard to understand since I've never had to work with floating yarns like this before. nevertheless i followed your advice to just start the project and seeing you changing colours multiple times😭🤣 once i started to have more rows, i was definitely getting it, so, thank you so much for the encouragement! 😭❤️
