So if the pattern doesn't mention if the chain is considered as a double crochet, what should we do by default? Count the chain as a dc or exclude chain and make the mentioned number of dc?
Patrón: oso •Anillo de 12 dc (al inicio dos cadenas) •aumentos de dc •dc y aumento •4 pb, dc, tr, 5 tr, tr, dc y 3 pb, de ahí empiezas a hacer los cachetes: aumento de dc 4 veces, dc, hdc, pb, pd, pb, hdc, dc y aumento de dc 4 veces, empiezas a hacer la otra oreja: 3 pb, dc, tr, 5 tr, tr, dc, 2 pb y pd
Patrón: pollo • las primeras tres vueltas igual que el oso •luego de eso haces 12 pb, el patrón de los cachetes y el resto lo tejes con pb •para el pico: 4 cadenas, 3 pb y pd
Unes el frente con la tapa haciendo pd, dejando la parte de arriba sin cerrar, solo en la parte del frente sigues con pd hasta la mitad para hacer 50 cadenas, haces el lazo. En la parte de atrás haces 7 cadenas, unes con pd y cortas
Patrón: gato • las tres primeras vueltas igual que en el oso • para las orejas haces dos cadenas, 9 hdc, una cadena y giras, 5 hdc, cadena, te saltas un punto y haces 4 hdc, cadena, te saltas uno y haces 3 hdc, cadena, te saltas el primero, hdc y disminución, 5 pb para bajar por la oreja y ya en la base 3 hdc • haces el patrón de los cachetes y al final el de las orejas otra vez

I’ve already tried crocheting the cat multiple times but the right cheek is always bigger than the left cheek, plus, the right cat ear doesn’t curve into the right cheek 😞 Am I doing sm wrong? After finishing the base, I jump right into the cat timestamp until the instructions for the right ear is reached 😞

Well, I didn't mention about the chains, only talked about 12 double crochets and that clear means only the number of double crochets!
