It sounds like your boss has been very good to you so far by giving you a pay advance before you start work in order to fix your car, most employers wouldn't do that. Maybe reconsider theorizing you making more money than your boss on your livestream, since it can come across as kind of tacky. It may create drama with your work for when the frat guys inevitably watch your videos. Also good that the place is furnished. Sure it may be older furniture, but if this location may be temporary for you, it'd help you save money to just get accessories working with the things provided, compared to buying all brand new stuff in this economy. New couch cover, mattress cover and sheets, etc can make a huge difference
