Hey! If you're using OBS Studio, ensure the folder of your overlay package was extracted directly to the C:/ drive. If everything seems correct, could you please tell me the name of the overlay you're trying to install?
I used Nexus-animated overlay and I made sure I downloaded onto my c-drive but unfortunately the tutorial does not work. It keeps saying the files are missing.
Hello! If you're having any troubles with installation you can always contact our support. We will figure out what might cause your problem and solve it together.
The most common cause of this problem is that your overlay's folder wasn't extracted directly to the C:/ drive. Just extract the archive with your files directly(!) to the root folder of your C:/ drive, import your OBS scene files from there, and everything will work straight away. In case you're still having issues feel free to get in touch, and we'll do our best to help you!
Hey there! Unfortunately OBS Studio is far less stable on Mac OS so there are few additional steps that you need to take (but don’t worry, it will take you 2-3 minutes). Please check this article from our help center to get started: help.kudos.tv/article/101-adding-overlays-on-mac
This problem occurs only if the package was not extracted directly to the C:/ drive - just put the extracted folder directly there and everything will be imported straight away without a need to pinpoint every file manually :)
Thanks, it works for me. Although there are files missing. I did not put in drive C:/ so maybe hence the files missing. So, I locate them manually.
Good to know! Can you please tell us which overlay package you are using? We'll try to fix the problem of missing files for other users :>
does not work for me, it always says there are files missing

@@kudoshq Hey mate, i downloaded Crust Overlay and some files are missing
@kudos doesn't work for me either - yall need to be a little more in depth with your tutorial for when issues like this arise
In the file it give you the individual files - everything will be there you just have to set it up yourself sadly
