Thanks. The prime purpose has been to create a model of the real thing. Running prototype trains in a prototype setting to reflect the timetable of the late 50's
Green Park has two main platforms and a centre road, which I guess stabled some coaches on occasion. Was there anywhere else that stabled coaching stock, or did all trains in have balancing services out?
4 sets were stored in the 2 centre roads over night to be ready for the morning services both to Bristol and down the S&D plus The 2 sidings beside the Midland shed were used for Stock storage as well on occasions.
Magnificent as always. Enjoyed the shunting too. Your knowledge of the area is obviously extensive. Might I ask...do you have a special connection with the area? I get the feeling it is somehow in your blood. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Bob
Thanks Bob. Yes grandparents in Poole hence being aware of the S&D at an early stage. My previous layout as Templecombe was always the stepping stone to modelling Bath Green Park. A life long ambition.
This is such a magnificent layout, I never get tired of looking at it.
These video runs are magnificent bringing operational life back to the s&d

Another great video. Interestingly my 9F has the same number as the one featured! looking forward to the next video.
Thanks. Already putting some video together.

A life long ambition being brought to fruition in magnificent style. Always a pleasure to watch your progress and achievements. Bob
