I didn't get the chance to have a look at it on Saturday, but I have to say you've done a lovely job of building it. I really do feel that MST are missing a trick not having a proper UK distributor. Really underrated platforms. I've been running a couple of the CFX-W's for a few years and love them.

PBM in Nottingham tried to sort out being ab MST distributor, but they didn’t want to get involved… weird isn’t it 🤷🏼♂️

I really like the look of the tyres i think they look really scale. Also I'm a fan of soft tyres tho as you say they have a very soft side wall. Maybe some stronger foams?

The standard CMX/CFX are definitely on my radar in the 252mm WB version. look a great bit of kit so may have to take the plunge at some point in 2023.

Looks great; I probably RC'ed 1/10 rock crawlers more than any other style of RC. The nice thing about crawling and drifting is you don't need a big space. I quickly got bored of breaking my old TMaxx and Revo and walking a mile flipping them upright.

Best thig about the about cfx/cmx is the slightly narrower width comared to most other crawlers. Bunch of awsome tamiya bodies that fit. Planning on doing a highlux hardbody on my cfx and the sand scorcher body on the kids cmx.

A set of dual stage foams would work wonders for you. you can get them on amazon.

Love that Disco you done good with that Phil m8 I'd try some dual stage foams in there be a good combo with the soft tyres and you need to put the warm white LED's in the front rather than the bright white more time period correct haha only messin it's a awesome looking rig I do love the ol discos 👌

It looks epic, you did a great job, love the scale of this rig. I cannot help but ask - would you rather have the FXT Outback Tracker as it comes out of the box, or the MST DC1 with the Fusion setup? I love the Tracker, but unfortunately it is not available as a kit. Thank you
Truck looks nice mate. I myself just finished building a scx10iii. You might want to consider swapping out the inner foams of those tires or maybe like a nice two stage set. Might help with your sidewall issue.

Phil, use E6000 on the magnets I'm going on 2 years hard use and the mounts have broke before the magnets came off, which is actually an easier fix depending on how you set your mounts up. Cheers! Great stuff!

The cfx is a great machine, straight out the box 👍🏻 just the cost of a replacement portal gear though 😳

ive got this rc the only thing i did not like is the tyres and rims so i just bourght some more and i gave it some portal axels
If you want to keep them that soft, get some Three Brothers antifoams, they will stay just as soft but have great side Hill ability
or A.L.T. Foams (or Dualstage Foams....)

Hair donuts do the job too.
I've tried hair donuts also but I used the large and they were a little too stiff you need to go with I would think at most a medium size

After sciencetific tests with a black Sharpe marker I concluded it is great for blacking out the hot glue lol

Upgraded the inner tyre foam to sort the side wall issue out and get a winch fitted …..
Just a thought, It would be cool if you made a gaming channel, like you said you used to play Forza, It would be entertaining to see you play Forza on like a second channel or Gaming channel. This would be a cool name if you do, Tomley Gaming! I think it's a cool idea, if you think so.

Straight from the receiver (they have a resistor on them to reduce the voltage)
If you liked the MST, you should also investigate TWS. The designer for MST now has their own company!

Dude what du you use to glue the magnets to the polycarbonate shell mine keeps coming of and doing my skull in!
Mine keep coming off as well lol… I’ve tried Gorilla glue, and so far it seems to be holding up
My mate said to use silicone Ithink I'll give both a go the flex of silicone might help
