Better than the one in snowrunner (i know only a few will understand)
Ok pro gamer
@Davemike27 sure
The Apache and defenders are the only dlc I haven’t bought. Twinsteer6900 is my goat.
Snow.... snow.... I've heard this somewhere....
_Looks at other Floridians for a clue_
Yanaw, sorry man...
Hey Frog that’s exactly what I thought of when I saw this vid (that useless piece of garbage Apache in sr) 😠
Won't lie it's got my attention straight away
You know what i am going to say Phil don't you.....
I want it !
That body. That colour, i love it !
It’s Blue… and it’s American 😎👌
@@TomleyRC blue yes, but that classic pickup body, and that bed is screaming "Wrecker" at me.
The 6x6 platform is a headscratcher. The cab is really good.
I have found one actual Apache setup with 6x6 online, it's a custom build and really nicely done. On limited $$$ for model building and R/C can't see adding this to the stable. But if one of the bodies came my way would not hesitate to take a razor saw to it and put the cab on a 4x4 chassis with a flatbed or something. As a "senior statesman" I do remember these GMC trucks vividly growing up. The cab is one of the best FMS has ever made. Even down to the color. But the Atlas makes much more sense because those old Power Wagons were available with a 6x6 chassis from the factory and were sold that way to the military and telephone/power cable laying companies and were equipped for carrying cable spools and A frame winches. But the Apache pretty sure was never offered this way and other than the custom build one on line haven't found one yet.
Be cool to see FMS make a Ford or GM C.O.E. I think there's enough R/C vehicles out there for a hauler in this scale.
.... Hit me up 👆🎁...
That truck is awesome👍love Daphne as the driver👍
My first truck was a 1958 Apache. They are massive.
Nice 👌
lil weathering and its perfect
Cool looking truck. As already commented, hope they do a 4 wheel version as I love that era pick up. The K10 is sweet too . The Apache would look sweet with a faded , rat rod look
Yes, not sure why they went for 6x6 🤷🏼♂️
@@TomleyRC Well obviously they follow the more is better logic; if 4 wheels is good, 6 is better!
@@Hjerte_Verke lol I like the 6 wheels but yea its looooong, beautiful truck though...I will say it looks a little high and needs a slightly wider stance. Other than that she's a beauty.
The videography is getting much better i can see😏😏😏
Thanks Carlos
That is one nice looking Chevy! Agree with You on the shocks!
What a beauty !
Love that old skool shape.
That's pretty badass...Not really a Chevy fan...I'm a Ford guy...but I love the 50's style versions of both of them so I'll still buy it regardless... Looks like it does really well in the video...a little hop up couldn't hurt though.
That fms 6x6 apache looks cool I going get me one
Very cute and the suspension move looks very cool. Even with the little imperfections like the very cheap colour that is faded in the rear bumper still is cute. The point is that the rc hobby cars are thousands times better than toys , that's why we choose them.
Oh man FMS is killing it. Love the look. 50's crawler.....nice
From the state's. I think traditional body would be and look better. Although it is sharp looking. Love FMS real look.
hola Amigo muy buenos dias como estas , muy bonito este nuevo camion , este estilo de autos replica es lo mejor , gracias por compartir este nuevo video saludos y exitos siempre
This would have been the perfect “blue blue is my truck 🎶” …. Lovely ❤
Yes… I was trying to keep this one a little more sensible haha. Next time 🥳
Wow new rc again
Really like the old pic up's, something else to my list.
Great vid as per'. Thanks.
I love the headlights on Daphne's..
Truck.
I grew up in the 50's in the states and this body style is very familiar to me. Of course they didn't;t have six wheels. It's a very cool looking crawler and a unique idea.
50s & 60s looked a cool time to be alive
@@TomleyRC The 50's and 60's was definitely a cool time for cars.
So I looked this thing up, I'm a 77 model and don't remember seeing a 6x6 ever. They made it for a bit, but really never took off. Personally, I'll take mine slammed, on 4 Cragar Wheels, thank you very much. ;-)
@@GhostRyderFPV I like the traditional and the mod versions.
I want to get one of those bodies on the slash
You should put monster truck wheels on it so it will look like the one on snowrunner
Never in my 64 years have I seen an Apache 6x6, nor ever wished to. I would own this, or have it ordered if it was 4wd or even 2wd.
I hope you made Daphney a Wheel chair lol
🤣🤣
That looks amazing Phil. Remember that the Power Wagon is a 40's design when you think about older bodies.
Very detailed truck. I actually like the dip switch concept. Real quick way to change settings.
Scale isn't bad, I have a 57 Apache 4x parked next to a Gladiator out in my front yard. The Apache dwarfs the jeep by quite a bit.
I love it. I get the capability of a 6x6, but it would have looked great as a factory 4x4.
Cheers.
Gauranga 🙂
Two likes. One for the Ute, one for Daphne.
I L O V E IT!! I have a atlas 6x6 and now it needs a brother
take the entire fms collection to the trail
Loved the truck and the music.
Hell yeah🙂, hit me up 👆 i got something for you🎁
... Now I need that Daphne, and a camper shell, make a new Mystery Machine.
I like it. Looks are good too. Old school trucks are cool.
I love the 1950's! 🙂
Love these FMSs and your reviews on them to. 👍
0811 on this gorgeous sunday morning here in Arkansas USA! Mornin Tomley you ole top you. Thanks for the vid that a sweet looking truck!!
Good Morning Arkansas 😎👌
Very nice truck
🔵🔵🔵👍👍👍😀😀😀🔵🔵🔵
Dark man.... u cut her legs then said let's go for a run lol 😆...i like these trucks ain't looked at them before nice vid as usual
Hahaha
Always a perfect presentation from FMS an this 50's styling, I like ! 👌
Love the look and body but would prefer a short or long wheelbase two axle normal version.
Personally, I’m over the 6x6 thing. Honestly was never into it to begin with. If they had done this in a 4x4 version, it would be a sweet truck.
I liked the video before finish watching! haha
😅👌
I’ve got the power wagon 6x6, and the “glacier “ k10, I’m gonna have to get this 59 Apache
The K10 Glacier is such a good truck for the money 👌
You make me giggle over the indicators every time lol. I do like that., great review as always. Left a thumbs up 👍
They should have put the Powerwagon's two speed transmission, it's great and makes it a lot of fun
I just got a Atlas 6x6 and it's a good out of the box vehicles. I like the old-school look , I like the blue thanks for the video.
That looks so cool, I want one! Thanks man!
😎👌
Cool truck, I like the look. Seems to go ok too, Good review.
Like you I'm not into 50's style trucks but that is damn good attention to detail. Love the scale stuff.
Cool RC and great review
that looks quite capable to be fair to it 👍
FMS smashing it out of the park. Though I'd prefer it as a 4x4 not 6x6.
Yea well no one asked you did they?
Awesome truck! Love the driver as well! Another great video! I have to say- watching OTHER people's videos is like pulling teeth!! = very hard to watch!!- I'm like, come on man!- get with it!- you need to watch Tomley rc to learn how to make a video‼️👍👍
That is cool 6x6 chevrolet there, looks nice and performs 👌🤠 Looks cool on its off-road environment
MORE CHEAP STUFF WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
(also I'm going to do this to every video were you review cheaper end rc cars)
Quite a good looking truck very different from Japanese models
Hi Phil I really do like this truck. FMS are a great company. I purchase alot of my plane's from them also. Very well made and great value 🇬🇧👍🏼
Yes, I’ve found them all to be well detailed and pretty robust 👍
Hi Tomley RC 👋🏻 This Chevrolet Apache is really a very nice model 👌🏼 The video is awesome 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
That is such a great looking truck
I agree ☝🏼
This as just a 4 wheel truck would be so bad ass
It's 6 wheels, but not bad, right?
@@fmsmodelRC it’s cool love what your doing but when I order mine I will be cutting the box down to 4 wheels
I love it 👌
great video
Awesome
Great video Phil, the body grows on you.
Yes, after editing the footage and watching it back it’s really grown on me
Love it
Great video! I'm really tempted by these 6x6 FMS models. I put some Injora bead lock super swampers on my FMS FJ. I really like the original look, but those tires really improved crawling performance and increased the ride height a bit. They still look scale-ish, so it was a win. I'd love to do the same to a 6x6, but since the tires only come in groups of 4, I would either have to buy 2 sets of tires for one vehicle with 2 spares, OR buy 2 different 6x6s and 3 sets of tires. Adult decisions :D
Very detailed video
Glad you liked it. Thanks
The Power Wagon is 40's and Parma had a 30's era Ford model T. The Apache 6x6 is also a DLC truck in Snowrunner. I'm not a big Chevy fan, but it is nice to see anything that isn't a Jeep or Toyota. Great review and running video.
They just keep popping them out don't they.!
Yes… crazy how they keep making new ones!
I only have one small scale crawler, a TA Sendero 24, and the steering throw is *terrible*. When I saw the steering at 9:06 I was so jealous. If my Sendero would turn worth a crap, I'd spend more time with it.
Oh, my goodness - this thing is gorgeous!
If only they'd do similar models in 1:12th!
1/12 would be really nice 👌
@@TomleyRC That would make it the same scale as a hard body Midnight Pumpkin, a 1953 Ford F100. Perfectly matched-looking playmates, though very different in design and intended use.
@@Del350K4 The Midnight Pumpkin was never one I had. I was always a Lunchbox guy :)
@@TomleyRC I still wonder why the Lunchbox was so much more popular, as I think the Pumpkin body is utterly beautiful and, back in the day, saw the Lunchbox body as boxy in shape and uninteresting. But I was in a huge minority; I reckon they sold six or seven Lunchboxes for every Pumpkin!
Great vid, Tomley, and some lovely trail footage. I'd love for FMS to make some classic British cars next, but I guess there isn't much of a market for them.
Oh that's is a sexy looking truck. Wife says good thing we don't have money or we would be knee deep in Rcs 😂😂
It’s easy to end up with RCs in every corner for sure!
FMS/RGT leading the way for sure! I will say Traxxas is coming after them soon with their new 1/18 rigs. Can't wait to see what the future holds.
I'm waiting on the RocHobby Magnum in 1/18 (A 1948-1950 Ford F1). By my measurements it will scale out to 1/15 scale but only a few people in Europe have gotten their hands on it.
Very nice indeed 😳 I just got my first fms I should have waited for this 😬
As a matter of fact I actually seen one like this today in my village it was blue also but only 4x4 ( as they are in real life not 6x6).
JJRC q60 it's old also .
I would have one as a 4x4. 6x6 spoils it for me
Yes. I guess they are trying something a little different. I’ve not looked, but not sure anyones every made a real 6x6
That thing is screaming out for a weathered paint job, make it look old and slightly rusted . 👌
Love that body mite have to pick it up and fit it to my atlas 6x6 ten wheeler 😍🔥🔥🔥👍
I think an rc with a 1962 jeep gladiator body would sell pretty well.
Nice project there , sort the lights and suspension a crane on the back some good paint and weathering and a couple of hillbilly’s and you would have a nice looking recovery truck to take your Brocken down car and your family to be butchered in the woods , the ( wrong turn ) movie springs to mind , stay safe mate .
😅
Might sound weird but I kinda like the flaked paint on the bumpers, kinda gives it an aged look, but I can certainly see most likeing a clean look
Wagwan tomley! Love the shell! Not keen on 6x6 though, i have an ftx texan 1/18 that has a beautiful shell but it sucks at driving 🤣
Hello from southeast alaska sweet looking truck bro
Hi :)
I think they use to have oil shocks for the "Trail Trekker". kyosho maybe? But they'd probably work great.
Yes maybe 🤔
Looks like a nice car body could be better and don't like the indicators either but other than that looks good,
Good job 👍
Looks stunning but dont think they ever did a 6x6 still a smart looking truck, love the off road filming
Thanks mate
like it! just needs to be a bit bigger 🤣👍🍺🇬🇧
Perfeito 👏👏👏👏
The 6x6 really bugs me for this body style.
Chevy and or GMC might have had a 6x6 in a Tow truck, but never for passenger vehicle.
Personally,
This body on a 4WD chassis would be something very nice to look at.
❤super
They need to make a 1/10 scale
Next review trx4m
Should be getting one when they come out in the UK
RedCat does a 1953 cabover ramp truck... I would love to find a 53 18th scale
Beautiful little truck, Phil! It looks amazing! 😃
I hope they make a 4 wheeler version!
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Yes, I’m sure a 4wd would be good to add to the collection 👌
A flat bed would take this thing to the next level!❤
Well it is apparent that this is larger than 1/18 as it should not dwarf the 1/18 Cheyenne Jeep 6x6 by that much. Unfortunately this is a custom 6x6 and not a stock truck so it will have to be scaled from the cab and the width, maybe.
You sure love those small scale toy's don't you
