I remember a lot of those. It's really sad that they don't allow you to enchant any item, anymore. The enchanted sticks in the battle minigame were so fun. It's a good thing that there's still legacy console edition, even if you can't play battles online anymore
Zedaph of hermitcraft got an adult villager chicken jockey in survival in 1.21. actually he gor multiple and buult a 'farm' to generate them, and on the actual hermit craft server. He explains how to get them yourself.
Villager jockeys were briefly discontinued in a few 1.21.2 snapshots due to a bug. Very funny that they're pretty much an intentional feature at this point.
@ 🤷♂️ Well, they are doing good Java Parities now. Like, you can actually pause the game now, and the generation has been updated once again and now it looks exactly like Java edition’s generation. Even some graphic changes to match Java even more
@@eltiolavara9 yeah, this video got posted in the discord server shortly before i commented and people were happy that more people were enjoying the wiki's content!

after some more digging, this whole wiki is just weird. it lists bedrock breaking glitches as a discontinued feature, even though you can still break bedrock via glitches in modern versions. it also lists barrier blocks as a discontinued feature, even though barrier blocks are still, in fact, in minecraft. the only reason they're even there is because of the weird definition of "discontinued feature" that the wiki gives, which basically boils down to one or both of 1. not in the game and/or 2. unobtainable without cheats but both of these lead to more problems. like, many bedrock breaking glitches have been patched, although the general goal can still be achieved in modern versions, even if the method isn't the same. and with barriers, if you did argue that they're not considered "discontinued," then the same would apply to the illusioner mob, which is also in the wiki and, even though it's spawnable with commands, deserves to be classified as "discontinued" because it was planned to be able to spawn in survival but never was. the line between "still a feature" and "discontinued feature" gets really blurry, due to conflicts between what makes the most logical sense for a definition and what the wiki's definition is. if i made the wiki, i would define "discontinued feature" as anything that fulfills one or both of: 1. was at one point accessible without cheats or glitches but not anymore 2. was planned to be accessible without commands but not anymore

@@SuperDZ555 Hey SuperDZ555, this is bluecrab2 an admin from the MCDF Wiki, I wanted to respond to your questions about how we define a discontinued feature. When we are looking at discontinued features, we're specifically looking at what's possible in vanilla survival. So while barrier blocks/items can still be obtained by players in creative/with cheats, they are no longer possible for players in survival. Surprisingly barrier blocks and items were obtainable in survival without cheats in the past! That's what those pages cover. Bedrock breaking is an interesting one because, as you pointed out, it is still possible in the current version. We allow features that are still obtainable in the current version if they are only possible using verified bugs on Mojang's bug tracker. This is why the Unbreakable Block Removal Methods page describes it as a 'potential discontinued feature'. A hole in the bedrock floor is possible now, but if Mojang fixes the bugs in a future version then it will become discontinued.
@@SuperDZ555 The wiki defines a discontinued feature as a feature that was once obtainable, but can be updated to a version where it isn't with the feature remaining in the world. Additionally, the main scope of the wiki specifically looks at what's possible in survival. Of course, barriers are freely available to those with creative or cheats, but survival is a different story. Bedrock breaking is interesting due to still being possible in the latest version. Features that are still obtainable, but have a verified bug on Mojang's bug tracker are documented. Modern versions of course have methods that allow breaking unbreakable blocks nearly anywhere, but certain configurations were discontinued in the past (such as breaking through the nether roof in 1.3-1.6). End void rings also fall into the confirmed bug category.
