Really don't know why I sometimes get emotional and all goose bumpy when I see all these very dedicated people show us all their creations as well as keeping the past running just as it was meant if not better ! Great job on your tireless work
29:35 I was there, the Brazeltag in Germany (Siensheim). This Bus is so loud when it starts the afterburner, it hits your chest as if there is a CPR going on. Amazing vehicle.
Love the sound of that old Pratt & Whitney 4 row radial once it got running. They need to do some more work on tuning that thing. Never get tired of the sound of a Rolls turbine starting up either, the whole time I keep thinking ‘why is the guy filming standing so close behind it, he’s in for a rude awakening when it gets up to speed’ - and sure enough lol. My town has a steam tractor museum, and every year hosts a parade of between 30 and 40 of them.
Wow, the sound of those big engines starting up is absolutely mesmerizing! It’s fascinating how each engine has its own unique tone and character. Some might argue that it’s just noise, but to me, it’s a symphony of engineering. The power and precision behind those sounds represent decades of innovation. I’d love to hear opinions on how the sound affects our perception of the machines themselves. Do you think the roar of a powerful engine adds to the allure of a vehicle, or does it detract from the overall experience, especially in a world that’s increasingly focused on quiet and electric alternatives?
@michaelsmodelrailroading7665 so little useful work? Without these kinds of things and the freedom and hard work to build things like this we who do these things would be unhappy. That's reason enough.
@hendrikdebruin4012 A lot of these people don't have a lot of money. What they do have is passion and slowly over time they build these creations to fulfill their passion. I don't think you understand the difference between passion and not having passion.
@@buddytweed7154 I do understand. "Not much money" is relative. I have worked just on 50 years here in Africa. I have a passion for old motor cars. I have one 1973 Beetle I want to restore. It has been rusting here in my yard for the last 10 years. I earned so little in all those years that I do not even own a daily running vehicle. I walk where I want to go. That is the difference between "not much money" in the USA and in Africa.
Thank you for an interesting and entertaining video. I think the actual, recorded, audio quality varied from engine to engine, but that couldn't be helped. The red Monte Carlo sticks in my mind. It put me in mind of a severe thunderstorm coming up. Some of these, like the jet trucks, I wouldn't want to be within 100 feet of, if that close. I liked almost all of them, but am kind of partial to the older stuff. The RR Merlin, on the engine stand/frame, was probably my favorite. It looked non fancy, pretty much WW2 factory; it sounded and ran beautifully and it wrapped up very fast when the throttle was tweaked. Loved it.
I'm surprised that no one seems to have taken a 5,000 hp Lycoming XR-7755-5 aircraft engine and stroked it to an even greater level and applied it to a motorcycle.
I agree that some of the vehicles are over the top. I love motors and cool flame thrower ones too. Some of it really does need to be calmed down. But also Google lithium mines that power EV and EV power doesn't come out of nowhere. I am a fan of hybrid or hydrogen development. Don't get me wrong, I love the spool of my turbo, and I still keep the catalytic converter on it even though I know I can get more power getting rid of it. Compromise of today so I can keep it tomorrow
These vehicles are for show, That big event ! so people can see what they look like, and sound like ! that's it, they are not for running down the street ! They're like going to the Races or Tractor pools !!!
Wow I bet you a barrel of laughs at a party, What you watching it for then, Don't just look at the outside of the engine think about all the mechanical precision and time and effort gone into them, and the sheer power they create and complexity,
People with different interests than you. You are probably a proponent for EV's, wind and solar power. These are nowhere close to as green and clean as the hype is sold to the public.
If you don't like something that others do please instead of saying anything politely keep your mouth completely shut, no one wants to here you whine about what you think a precision machine, many of which made before you existed, is..

0:40 look how loose the blower belt is . 😂😂😂
The jet powered leaf blower was my fav. LOL.
Absolutely. Neighbors 10 blocks down will be complaining you blew leaves into their yard. You may not have grass any more, but no leaves either.
A culmination of curiosity and dreams.
those high performance engines never ideled well
When you have a lot of time on your hands, and know your way with engines
Oooh! That reminds me! Gotta go turn over the ol' V-36. Been sittin' a minute.

I think so, this little WEF millionaires daughter has 6 cars for herself to play with.
@@jpsholland But you're not allowed to say that in Germany, because that puts you on the political right.
I imagine these engines, with their immense power, could pull 10 airplanes.
I need that leave blower this fall. The orange Monte Carlo sounded good. Bet he smelled good when he climbed off of the diesel motorcycle.

I feel like those jet trucks would be really expensive to run. Gotta put up a new giant sign and repave the race track every time you run it.

Human ingenuity never ceases to amaze. So much horsepower, so little useful work. But an absolutely astounding video!

Wow, some incredibly silly and dangerous looking machines there. But kind of cool too. So much fire and smoke!
the kids would love that bus
Awesome collection!!!
Thanks!!
Thank you for the wonderful video.
So many different machines.
You have made it possible to enjoy when we can't be there for reason or another.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great stuff; like Big Daddy Ed Roth at 1:1 scale and no airplane glue showing!!!

Air pollution ?. What air pollution ? Don't people get fined for having the windscreen obscured by air fresheners hanging on the rear view mirror ?

Engines that don't start or just blow up aren't terribly impressive.
At least some ran for a while before returning to paper weight mode.

It's interesting to see how these USA genius don't care about pollution. BRAVO guys. Have fun and blame other countries.

The missing 6cyl Diesel engine was in India.
The Buckau Wolf Diesel is German
The Leeds train engine is from the Uk
The Ferrari is Italian

You're not an engine person
