I really enjoyed this and I love the color on this table! Thanks 😊❤😊🌷🌸
I’m so glad you enjoyed! Isn’t that a beautiful color?! I kind of want to paint everything that color now! 😍
801 here!!! Happy to be here!!
So glad you’re here too!! ❤️
Loved this. Everything I needed to know :) Loooove that color too
Im so glad! I was afraid I was just rambling on & making no sense! 🤣
Just subscribed, love your videos! Love your dog too!
Oh yay!! Thank you so much! ❤️ Ollie likes to make an appearance from time to time! Lol
Thanks!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
I love my wooster or blue hawk short rubber handled brush.. so ergonomical.. like that color
I’ve never tried the blue hawk…I love a short handle!
@@ourhoustonsmithhome its basically the same as the wooster.. great price for great brushes!
The Zebra brushes are the best for the chalk paints! Love that color tok. I use Fusion paints also. There self leveling. I use the water base poly acrylic for my top coats. Ty for your teaching
Thank you so much for watching! I love all of the colors Fusion has to offer and yes the Zibra brushes are really good. I have recently started spraying with a Wagner Flexio 5000 and am really liking the finish it gives. Have you ever used a sprayer? Definitely took some practice!
I really like classic off white or very light finishes
I paint a lot of whites. You can’t go wrong there! Fusion Mineral Paint “Raw Silk” & “Victorian Lace” are both beautiful off white colors.
Beautiful! Love the color. Thanks for the step by step. Would you mind sharing how much you bought the piece for, how much you listed it for, and how much it ends up selling for please?
Thank you so much! I really love that color too. No I don’t mind at all…I bought the piece for $10…listed it for $75 & sold it already!
I should actually say it sold before I listed it…either from this video or a reel I made on my Facebook page!
I love it! Thank you for sharing all the steps! Do you mind sharing how much it sold for?😊
You are so welcome! Thank you for watching! I sold this one for $75 before listing it just from sharing it on my Instagram!
Like your work, due you sand between coats of paint?
Thank you! I do like to lightly sand between coats with a fine grit (320 or higher) sanding sponge.
I would like to see glaze
I do use antiquing glaze on a lot of my pieces. I will try to do a video showing that! Thanks for watching! ❤️
How much would a table cost for resale?
I sold this one for $75. I have done some different ones more recently and sold for up to $125.
What about using wax
I’ve never used wax but I see a lot of people do. I’ve always just used a water based polyurethane because it is so durable & doesn’t have to be reapplied like wax does over time.
