Well this just answered basically all my confusion. Just started the demo to see if the game is worth buying but man was the lack of any explanation of how battle works off putting. Thank you for explaining the mechanics!
This game is absolutely amazing! I picked it up this past Wednesday and I can't put it down. I'm so stoked I got my hands on the ultra rare physical copy. I mean, we have every freaking new game that has hit and I still can't stop playing....it's that damn good. People make comparisons to Fire Emblem and yes it does have its similarities...however, it does not get bogged down like Fire Emblem. You don't have to spend an inordinate amount of time on not fighting and the battles become massive.

I had a mega drive/genesis as a kid but never got this game; but I did play shining force 1&2 and ff tactics as a kid, loved SRPG´s def gonna pick this up- but hard to justify 50 euro - I just cant - when within a month (30 days) persona 5 royal, Nioh 2 resident evil 3 remake and final fantasy 7 remake is out.

2 years later and a physical copy of this title for the PS4 runs over $100. Games like this are games that the older generation grew up playing and have us shaking our heads when we hear about how great a game like Fire Emblem is.

Excellent video! I can't wait for this game. The art style can be a little iffy, but at least there is the classic art too.
Is there a way to change the character sprites on the map? They look straight from a mobile game
