Choke hold was sold out when I went to purchase it 🥺 I've got my top gel coat pilling within days of a new mani. It's on quite a few nails. Hasn't happened before, any suggestions? Absolutely love this video!

@NicolesBeautyScene okay! I'm still wanting to try it. And yes, gel base coat. Dip. Cure. Gel base coat. Dip. Cure. And again. Then light filing. Then top coat. And this mani, it's peeling but I didn't do anything different I don't think. But then obviously I would've had to since it's doing this now.
@@katrinamcfalls67311 if you did light filing and then right into top coat- that’s likely why. You need to cure gel base and leave the tacky dispersion layer for the gel top has something to adhere to! Also- I would test your lamp to see if it’s fully curing! Do you know how to do that?
@NicolesBeautyScene I actually may have done that. The nails it's doing this with had a gel glue layer bc I added accent designs to them. Then top coated. I don't. But it is new. Haven't had it for even 6 months yet. Still willing to check it out!

Does the dip powder make your nails hard while wearing it
Yes dip powder is hard! When you apply the activator (step 2), it hardens the dip so you can buff, file, and shape it!
