      We actually are currently running a deal for free install on the 3.0s so we can get a video up faster so we should have a video coming soon.

    What is the caliber of high compression and low compression streets? F150 2012 fox 2.5

    High and low compression is the most appropriate number for the street?

      @ShockSurplus  2 місяці тому

      are you asking what the settings would be for LSC and HSC for the street? the lower the LSC setting the more body roll and dive you'll get, the higher the number the flatter the truck will be. HSC doesn't get encountered often on the street, unless you like to slam up driveways, curbs, and speed bumps.

    Are these the shocks that come standard on the 2023 Wildtrak? With the Hoss 3.0 package?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Рік тому

      These are not the same as the Wildtrak Hoss 3.0. the Hoss 3.0 is an internal bypass while the Performance Elites don't have any bypass get more lift height and the DSC feature.

      @@ShockSurplus Hoss 3.0 still pretty dope tho?

      Those Fox IBP Reservoir shocks are pretty stellar, they're better than 1st gen raptors, and that says a lot.

    How are these compared to bilesten's in Hoss 2.0?
    I drive fast in dunes and off-roading

      Based on previous 2.5 series on various rigs we own, it'll be a massive improvement from stock size or 2.0 series. We haven't installed this yet but we will very soon.

    I have a 21 badlands non squatch and dont do a lot of off-roading although i want to start getting more into it. I mostly want to fit 35's and get about a 2" lift or so. Are these an overkill? If so what would you recommend ?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Рік тому +2

      You just need to remove your factory crash bars and you can fit the 35s on the stock wheel. You don't need any lift. You do need a bump stop but most aftermarket suspension will be tuned proper to not need that or will include it.

    Any interest in looking at fabtechs dirt logic?

    What’s the link for these shocks for the 21+ 4Runner, non KDSS? I can’t find them on your site to order.
    Thanks

      Also, are these kits for the 4Runner also all aluminum?

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Рік тому

      Fox doesn't have the Performance Elite available for the 4Runner yet, just the Tacoma. We do have Dobinsons available for your setup, which is 3-way adjustable

    I want to get readylift or a fabtech 4 inch lift for my 2018 sierra 1500 would I be able to upgrade my stock shock(coils) to some fox or kings afterwords? While keeping the suspension lift kit

      @ShockSurplus  Рік тому +1

      Both companies will use a 4" spacer in the front. Which you can then run any stock height suspension and retain the spacer. In the rear, we can you a Fox 2.0 designed for 4-6" lift in the rear.

      Fox offers a 0-3" set up in the 2.5" if you wanted to run that and go with like a 1" spacer

      So i could do 2.0 in the rear and 2.5 upfront and do uca and a 1 inch spacer and still get the 4 inch lift

      I'm trying to do like and overland build and I want to get as close to 4 inches without having to drop the diff so I get the most ground clearence possible

    • @ShockSurplus
      @ShockSurplus  Рік тому

      You're going to need to do a diff drop or diff spacer with how much lift you're looking at doing. anything at 3" and more would require it.

    • @stevenaguilar4456
      @stevenaguilar4456 Рік тому

      Ohhh dang how much would the diff spacer lower it if I just went with 3 inches instead of 4
