Beautiful build. The only thing I don’t like well it’s 2 part. I don’t like a bed you can’t sit-up in. The other thing is the sink. I find them a waste of space.
Really like that roof-rack outstanding job. I’m putting vinyl flooring in my van as well.
LOL Im a Snap-on brat as well but set up in a Ford Flex. 9 months in so far. Good luck on your adventures.

You did an incredible job on your van build...simple but beautiful esthetics, well thought out and well organized. I was surprised you chose a space heater rather than installing a diesel heater which have improved tremendously in quiet efficiency. I use a Mr. Heater Buddy presently but plan to install a diesel heater before next winter. My simple butane stove works well in taking the chill out of the air. Your roof rack is awesome and it looks great, too.
Yes! Since the video was filmed I actually include heated blankets, which work amazing. Night times are always warm with them.
Because most of my rentals are in the spring-fall times, I chose to skip the cost of getting diesel heaters!

Beautiful job on your vans. I am a bit surprised you don’t have a diesel heater.
Yes, since most of my rentals are from spring-fall and not much in the winter, I chose to skip the cost of the diesel heaters.
However, all my vans come with heated blankets which actually work AMAZING for heating the bed at night 🙌🏻

@@teresanoel4035I do rentals during winter! But it is definitely the slow season. I also usually encourage people to explore Washington and Oregon during the winters because the weather is much warmer than going north in BC and Alberta

Love your van...what brand of sink is that ?
I have a 2018 Ford Transit and I want to install a swivel for the passenger seat only. I was wondering if you or you can suggest someone in the Lower Mainland that can install the swivel? Also the seat is powered and has heat, does the swivel interfere with the wiring?
Can I ask what welder you use for the roof rack? And the gutter clamps for the rack where’d you get them? You have a great rig I can tell you put some time into it. Thanks 😊
I don’t have an aluminum welder so I simply used brackets and bolts to secure everything!
I used to purchase smittybilt gutter mounts but I believe they stopped manufacturing the ones I buy.
I’ve ordered some from Gamaviti… we’ll see if they are good!

18:21 what did you mean by rv pods? what are those? isn't that just a chemical toilet like a regular porta potti?
They are basically RV holding tank pods. You manually put them in and it makes it smell good and disintegrates the toilet paper and waste so it’s easy to dump
So would it work to put a water jug up in a cabinet above the sink and use gravity rather than using a pump?
Hmm that would be a lot of weight in the upper cabinets. Also, if for some reason the jug wasn’t secured properly it would be a longer fall and big mess to clean up! 😅
The pump works great with an accumulator, and isn’t too hard to set up!

That space heater sucks... Takes too much power & that's why he skimmed over the plug in space heater
Hehe yes I’ve realized the space heaters aren’t the best… that’s why I actually have heated blankets in all my vans. So night times are actually quite cozy.
Also, most of my rentals are in the warmer times of the year where a big heater is most likely not cost effective for my business

It depends on the van and the time of year! I’m more than happy to talk about it more!
Stick to low crime areas or that van will be stripped and up on cinderblocks lol
