My cool crue story = had a neighbor 2 doors down who was a year older than me when I was a freshman - junior in HS in the early/mid 1980's and he was into punk which was big at the time especially in Long Beach Ca where we lived down the street from from Jack Grisham and TSOL's home and he was well connected in that scene with Black Flag, social D etc. We were both drummers and he was just a real nice guy to me. One day he comes over with this cassette. He tells me someone gave it to him, but it wasn't his thing but he thought I'd dig it (plus it was a cassette and we always could just tape a copy if we wanted to anyway). But it was one of the copies of the first 500 too fast for loves (I don't recall it having that title though but maybe just bad memory) and my gosh, I turned all of my friends on to them before they hit big. We kind of knew of them from BAM and recycler ads, but we were too young to get into anywhere they played. I was blown away by them and the raw simplenss of it all. Back then they were all dolled up, with the flaming pentagram in the ads, but when were heard them we were like these were killer rock songs.........just a cool story. I always remember that day he came over and handed me that cassette.
Thank you for the share! Allot of memories from this band. Burned lots of gas in my 79 T/A playing their tapes at high speed for sure! Almost 50yrs. old now and still play the bands tunes loud!
Thanks for this! I was at the Sacramento show 7-29 and it was awesome! We were row 3 in front of Nikki and it was one of the best rock shows I've ever been to! I really hope this isn't the end of touring for them. I'm gonna miss them.
If it's an indoor venue that can support the Crucify, you'll see it. They can't use it at outdoor venues, which are the two I'm seeing so sadly, I won't get to see the rig.
I flew from Canberra, Australia just for this show, thanks for recording it, I think I've watched it three times already.Again thanks, for the memory refresher.Brendan
Thanks for sharing this. I was able to get some video of the Shoreline Mötley Crüe concert. Now, thanks to you, I can watch the entire wonderful experience!!
Thank you for this! I saw them two years ago and missed the final tour. So many great memories. I wish they would go a few more years and put out a new one. Oh well.
Final? THANK GOD! I have been a CRUE fan since 10th grade in 1982! I saw "Carnival Of Sins" and I am glad that was the last tour I saw. Vince is through! I love 'em but . . . . . .time to go fishing man!! Play some golf. . . . .. .
It was sick flyerin' n passing out the new Raven's Cry-"We Are The Black Things" album for the Crue fans the night of this show out-side the Hollywood Bowl!It was in the parking lot cross the street from the Bowl!Hearin' the Crue echoing off the Hollywood Hills was awesome!!!!Raven's Cry live @ Whisky A Go Go on 10/5/14 8 pm @ Whisky A Go Go!LONG LIVE THE CRUE!tone raven^=^
Mick Mars what a legend, he just grinds out the whole show with perfection. I'd pay just to hear all the riffs. But yeah Vince what a shame... My favourite band in the 80's.
What most folks have to understand its not like whiskey or wine that it gets better with age , but Im very great full that they still tour for all of us after all these years & they still sound great . One of the best metal bands !! Vince has to save his voice the best he can for the rest of the tour . He would do better if he would just stand still , quit running around & losing his breath so much , then we could hear him better .
No Budget Music Show they all hate eachother... there just cashing out one last time... and there fan base is dumb enough to support their retirement plan...
Neither you or I can prove or disprove your comment... But tbh Tommy quit as recently as 2009 and suddenly had a change of heart... probably because financially he realized he couldn't afford his life style without Motley Crue. Nikki Sixx is basically Tommy Lees boss. I would guess Tommy makes the least out of the 4. They perhaps are friendly... but not friends. I would guess Nikki Sixx has no friends... just people he is in bussiness with or his immediate family. Nikki Sixx is becoming just as corperate as Gene Simmons.... But Gene Simmons is perfectly honest about his intentions... Nikki still tries to act like a "rebel" ... He sold and souled out 100%... \m/ "i would do this tour for free" - Nikki Sixx
I saw them in Indy and while disappointed with the quality, I was still happy to have gone. I won free tickets to see them in Chicago this Friday 8/8 so will be seeing them one more time. (Free with bus transportation...hell yeah!) Having seen them 5 times now (not including Friday), this may be the first time I truly saw that while they may love each other in some way, they are certainly not in sync at all and don't want to be there, especially with each other. The passion isn't there. They don't seem to be enjoying it at all. So yes, I believe it's probably for the money. I saw them in 2012 with KISS and they blew Kiss away! They were tight (as tight as they could be considering Vince's vocals but we expect that part.) I will always be a MC fan, good or bad but with that being said, it's definitely time to hang it up...as muh as that pains me to say.
Escape2Muszik I was at Tinley aslo. What did yah think? I loved that they had Cruecify set up. I wasn't sure if it would fit. Took us bout as long as the concert to get out of the parking lot. Don't like that venue at all.
I've seen The Crue a couple times many years ago and they definitely kicked ass live. The concerts were quite a spectacle and Vince was definitely singing more of the songs. Back in the mid 80's their former manager Doc McGee would give me wicked Motley Crue and Bon Jovi TShirts for my tip when I portaged his boat from Namakan to Rainy Lake.
I was at the show in Cleveland,Ohio on 8/12/14. It was a great show but I'm not sure if Vince's mic wasnt working right or that he forgot a lot of the lyrics. His singing for this concert was much better. This was the 3rd time that I've seen them and I will always be a huge Motley fan. Arguably one of best American bands from the 1980's. Also, Alice Cooper was great as usual. I've seen him 3 times and he always puts on a great show.
My Full support to Motley Crew!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey brothers, we dont live forever!!! But we aint never gonna to give up!! Vince Neil is AWESOME!!! FUCK all the haters!!
Can we all just get over the fact that Vince has gained a few pounds in his older age?It happens when you get older. The guys sound great and have had a hell of a career in a business that is now near impossible to make it in. One of the last great rock bands.
Vince actually has a Thyroid issue along with the fact that he gets very lost in the sauce over the loss of his Daughter Skylar and he blames himself for Razzle as well... He KNOWS he needs to quick drinking. I will always love Mick,, Nikki, Tommy & Vince. When they fired Vince in Feb of 1992 I was crushed and extremely depressed until 1997... In 1992 I was FINALLY old enough to go see the Crue. But then they kicked Vince out... Nikki fired him, yes he had his reasons but still Vince would have never left the band!!!
Dam man you're at like every show in southern Cali wish I was you sometimes lol I take it you will be seen Slayer at the Forum on November 14th im going to that one
Saw The Crue on Easter Sunday 90' on the Dr Feelgood tour. My mom took me and my friends(I was 12 going on 13). Some kids behind us were throwing paper(?) at my mom and my mother threatened to kick their ass's if they didn't stop. Security moved us a bit closer to the handicapped section:-0 The backing tracks btw are so evident on this..
THE FIRST TEN YEARS KICKED MAJOR ASS,AFTER THAT WHO CARES....JUST SAYIN,THATS JUST FOR ME PERSONALLY, I KNOW ALOT WILL DISAGREE BUT WE ALL HAVE OUR FAV ERAS OF THE BANDS WE LOVE....KEEP IT HEAVY NORTH AMERICA!!

They have taken their rightful place in the analogs of History as Rock Gods, Long live Motley Crue. Thx for everything guys.
There back

I was there & recorded a few songs on my phone. This was an amazing show despite no roller coaster solo from Tommy. thanks for recording and sharing!
Thanks for this! I was at the Sacramento show 7-29 and it was awesome! We were row 3 in front of Nikki and it was one of the best rock shows I've ever been to! I really hope this isn't the end of touring for them. I'm gonna miss them.
So excited..my favorite band since i was 13 in 1981..... going to see the show in Denver August 2...the crucifly should be sweet
If it's an indoor venue that can support the Crucify, you'll see it. They can't use it at outdoor venues, which are the two I'm seeing so sadly, I won't get to see the rig.

I like the way Nikki borrowed Vince's hat from the TOP tour for Home Sweet Home
Great bottom line, which means the bass and the drums, on the primal scream song .That song really is happening.❤️🎼
Magnifique... Merci beaucoup mon ami ;-)
Mick Mars what a legend, he just grinds out the whole show with perfection. I'd pay just to hear all the riffs.
But yeah Vince what a shame... My favourite band in the 80's.

Motley Crue have written some mighty fine jams during their heyday.
Vince is the coolest and always will be adorable to me!
My Full support to Motley Crew!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey brothers, we dont live forever!!! But we aint never gonna to give up!! Vince Neil is AWESOME!!! FUCK all the haters!!

He will probably lose the weight on this tour
Well if you are a female I can understand your disdain for Vince's weight but if you're a dude? hmmm that's just strange.
thank you.. who cares if he gained a few pounds my God. SHALLOW PEOPLE out there. Judging everyone but yourselves.
Vince actually has a Thyroid issue along with the fact that he gets very lost in the sauce over the loss of his Daughter Skylar and he blames himself for Razzle as well... Nick Melara he sounds quite good here!
Crue for life!!!
Except for Vince, one of the tightest bands I've ever seen. And Mick is a very underrated player.
without vince they are not MOTLEY CRUE. Vince is AMAZING !
Mick sounds good

Knew when to retire..Unlike some other bands, milking the fans with greatest hits, and farewell tours like....KISS for example......CRUE FAN 4 LIFE!!
That comment didn’t age well...
that was my first metal show
Great 'И' Glorious ❤💛💚💙🤘🤘🤘

The same set for the last few years with the exception of 'Without YOu," "Smokin,' and "Anarchy." What about deep cuts like "Sumthin for Nothin'," "All in the Name of," or "Face Down in the Dirt"? If you guys are truly going out, then go out with style!

Great show , and would be better if Vince could still sing or remember half the lyrics .
Grandi
26:30 Nikki trips over ahaha 😂
vince neil is mexican which is kind of interesting you wouldnt expect that with most hair bands
I'm coming for you...
I was at the concert in new york at jones beach and believe me both them and alice cooper kicked ass but there is just something that is kinda off about part of this concert. When Nikki Sixx starts talking about the origins of the band after Motherfucker of the Year, i would think they would have played one of their first songs or one of the songs they talked about but no they cover anarchy in the uk. While it is an awesome song i feel it would be more fitting if they played something that made sense with what thety were talking about. Just my opinion though
The instrumentals sound great but whats going on with Vince?
They dropped their new song all bad things from the setlist. Why is that?
WTF is happening with the kit Tommy? The fucking thing is shrinking by the year
The Hollywood Bowl can't support The Crüecifly kit
Yan Fejolo Oh it's not even that man...he used to have some flying toms and now he's got like...1?
saw the Wichita show....FUCKING GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow Vince the years of excess have not been kind to your voice.
Production-wise, it's a great show. Nikki and the gang are pretty creative with the tour concepts (current one, Carnival of Sins). And yes, let's get over the fact that Vince is not the same, as Father Time has severly punished his voice and his on-stage appearance (on the bright side, Stephen Pearcy is in waaaaaaay worse condition). The only "but"... the song rotation is terrible. Basically, the same setlist since 2007, with a shake-up here and there (and the Dr. Feelgood anniversary tour). Not asking for Corabi or New Tattoo songs... but more old-school stuff.
