It’s just a shame they’ll never be able to enjoy seeing them live. I’m 23 but I’ve seen them twice with my mom because I’ve literally been listening to 60’s - late 80’s music since I was 2. My parents have family videos of me dancing in the living room in my diaper to old records and cassettes lol.
This vid was so cool when it came out. It included some really cool MTV motley videos and it showed each band member away from each other so you could get a glimpse of each one in their own element. Bought it new, I was 19 at the time.
I was born in 1998 I came on to all this kinda music by myself it wasn't passed down through parent or other family members it's something I just found myself and it became a huge part of my life. It's a shitty thing when u realize music like this probably won't be back not just motley crue but bands that were around there time. Each band was unique they had there own style for the most part and the were actually talented no auto tune, no repeating 4 words the whole song and mumbling it. Lol and as crazy and drug fueled as these bands were it was always still about the music. I don't know if I agree with that. These guys are entertainers first and foremost and I think this skit proves it. They never needed to be a great band to entertain us. As someone who wasn't alive then, I'm getting a ton of fun out of watching this stuff and their concerts and just enjoying what the Crue has to offer.
Mick being a seasoned musician working with Nikki's sounds and lyrics was definitely advantage. But Mick said he never met anyone with drive to be successful as Nikki. That's what sold him on being in the band.
As a hardcore metal/punk fan (I was a teenager in the 80s) these guys labeled as "glam metal", (which was absolutely vërbötten in my world 🤣) made it there. Because they were all talented AF!! And that was BEFORE we knew how crazy they were 🤣 That was just the icing on the cake 🤣🤣🤣🤘🤘🤘❤️

My middle sis bought this on VHS and it immediately drew me in. I liked Mick the best as he just seemed like a 'normal' guy you could converse with while cruising in his '76 Vette. (And gets pulled over by the cops. He always seemed to have bad luck.) Funny how he put 'U.Dick' in masking tape over his doorbell lol. My sisters would watch this over and over-and of course I was watching it also. 'Uncensored' is hands down the best home video a band ever released. It was pure fun to watch.
If you read The Heroin Diaries, you'll realize that December 86 to Demceber 87 was the lowest of the low for Nikki Sixx (or just about any human being for that matter).
these days people are in their bedrooms playing video games or on their phones. Malls are dying because of retail websites. Music is dying because of downloading. Everything is so easy nowadays that it will be delivered right at your doorstep. Why even go outdoors anymore....?
Because humans need to see eachother and hang out together and socialise. It’s a basic human need that nearly everyone enjoys and just because things are more convenient doesn’t mean kids aren’t still hanging out at shopping centres and outside having fun. Kids are still going down to the river to swim and hanging out nearly everyday after school. Yes I wish people weren’t as addicted to social media as they are, but we are still making memories and having fun.
No mick lived on a peek in the calif coast hills named mick mountain. He was very private and wouldn’t let his house be filmed. That “apartment “ was on a Hollywood studio set. Most of that intro was just for entertainment purposes and didn’t show real places you can find them and was scripted.

I cringed when i first watched lmao 😂
Nice one
Oh shit
I’ve seen this video on VHS back in the day and hell yes I wanna watch it right now. Thanks for sharing
I couldn’t get enough of this when it first hit!!!! A lot of songs still on my playlist. 🤘🤘🤘
My first concert was Jan. 20th 1990 (Orlando Arena)!!! Warrant opened up for the DR. FEELGOOD Tour. Saw the CRUE 2 more times. AWESOME BAND!!!!!!
I remember watching this SOOOO many times when it came out on VHS.
im 29 used be into motley but the dirt has made me attempt to learn guitar.Never too late to learn a new skill
I have all this on some old cassette I bought of Motley Crue: Uncensored 30 years ago. I cannot believe it's been that long!

Motley Crue is a huge inspiration to the 2020's Glam Metal bands!!!
MOTTTTLLLLEEEYYY CRRRRUUUUUUUUEEEEE YYYEEEEAAAAHHH just takes one fan to get the ball rollin
The first concert I ever saw was Motley on the Theater of Pain tour in November/85 in Toronto. That was the day I decided to pursue music as a career.
Bullshit
This generation sucks and when we're older kids are going to be looking back at pop stars and rappers as there "classical" music. I wish I could've been a teenager around that time though no phones,no internet. They seem like such simpler times
@KEN5423 hell yea man I say it all the time I was born in the wrong generation can't fucking stand kids my age. I started playing guitar when I was 5 I'm 20 right now and I'll fuckin tell ya man I feel sorry for the kids who will never feel that rush you get when your plug that guitar in or turn on some actual good fucking music not this rap bullshit good to know the 80s were as badass as I thought they were 🤘
It was a simpler time, we had a blast growing up during this era. The parties, the bon fires at field parties. I miss it. Wouldn't change a thing.
i felt this 100%. same thing with me, born in '99 finding this all on my own, so wish i were my age now in the 80's
i remember watching this every other day on vhs when i was just a wee little crue head ...thank you for the upload!
The easy girls back then were dames compared with those of today...
SonjaZoufie not with the bushes lol
@@ryanhughes9291 If a womans gonna have any hair on her pussy, it better be a landing strip. LoL
have you ever considered that it’s because you’re not tommy lee? these girls are only “easy” cuz they’re groupies
@@ryanhughes9291 I see nothing wrong with bush. Christy Canyon is a great example.
Big hair, mini skirts and no tattoos.
my first concert shout at the devil, kick ass show they were opening for OZZY
It wasn't my first concert but i seen that same tour. It was Bark At The Moon tour and The Crue were special guests doing Shout At TheDevil.
Not my first either but i saw that show in phila.
Oh yeah, I left that note, lol. Claaaaaassic.....still own it on VHS. A gem.
Just love seeing Tommy riding his bike
Watched this video when I was a kid when it first was released on VHS. These guys are still badass
I had this original. Amazing, thanks for sharing !
i grew up with rock because my dad introduced me and i'm so glad as i found motley crue!
@Chloe Y'all are the damn best. I'm honored to have the kind of support that you show me, thank you. How are you doing it is nice meeting you here btw
Imagine being there kids no1 can top there reputation they were proper party boys long live the crue
Being there kids would be amazing and horrible at the same time there’s no trying to fool them they know it all lol you drink or do any drugs your caught
Loved this Video when I had it back in the day. No internet back then so These type of Videos were priceless.
@9:08 you just see Mars air playing the notes while the song is playing. I bet it’s damn near muscle memory at that point in time.
Ain't that hard once you've learned it
dude i wanna be a rockstar so bad. these guys LIVED life
What a life. And if you've read The Dirt then you'll know it's all true. And the rest.
Just saw the DIRT. It was great. And you read it.
Don't need to read it, I was partying right in the 80's just wish it would've been with the crue
They've done more drugs than every band put together in their time and there still going. The crew are legends sex drugs and rock n roll forever 🤘🏻
lmao as a kid, i rememeber having this in a random pile of VHS tapes. all of which i watched had some random movies and cartoons. this one i watched a shit ton of times over
If it wasn't for Mick and Nikki working so well together this band wouldn't had turned into anything!
Sixx is one real smart guy.
Bought this on VHS back in the days.
@Donna Y'all are the damn best. I'm honored to have the kind of support that you show me, thank you. How are you doing it is nice meeting you here btw
Considering this is 1986 the clarity on this camer is pretty damn good.
This is why that no matter how their image gets distorted in present times, they’ll always be the GOATS of rock. Motley is #1 and always will be.
9:12 me when I'm crushing over 80s rockers and my mom walks in
first time I saw the crew was at magic mountain. my 69 camero caught on fire while putting gas in it at gas station in oceanside. put it out with a fire extinguisher and rocked on.
Nice man I thought the 90 rock but 80 man I wish I was there I was but a baby so yeah do you still have your 69 Camaro
Far out man.

They are SO YOUNG in this...!!!! WOW!! 😮 It ISBN hand to believe they retired!!! No More Mötley Orüe!!! 😢😥😢😥 ✌✌✌✌

Corvettes and Harley’s. True American rockers! Times have changed.
Fuuuuckin crazy film work..nothing but classic legends
How did i not see this??? Been looking for it for years!!! Thanks so much!
If you read The Heroin Diaries, you'll realize that December 86 to Demceber 87 was the lowest of the low for Nikki Sixx (or just about any human being for that matter).
If only more young people would read heroin diaries. Maybe it could save one soul
Today is the second time of my watching Motley Crue Uncensored since[1988] the time I was sixteen!
these days people are in their bedrooms playing video games or on their phones. Malls are dying because of retail websites. Music is dying because of downloading. Everything is so easy nowadays that it will be delivered right at your doorstep. Why even go outdoors anymore....?
Yeah because god forbid the world evolves and things become convenient
Music is dying? You must be joking. The mainstream music scene is a joke, but that is just the tip of the iceberg.
i wonder what people thought of CDs when they came out
the real life lives dude who is doin delivery
Because humans need to see eachother and hang out together and socialise. It’s a basic human need that nearly everyone enjoys and just because things are more convenient doesn’t mean kids aren’t still hanging out at shopping centres and outside having fun. Kids are still going down to the river to swim and hanging out nearly everyday after school. Yes I wish people weren’t as addicted to social media as they are, but we are still making memories and having fun.
I had this on VHS in the 90s was awesome. Love the Crue forever.

No mick lived on a peek in the calif coast hills named mick mountain. He was very private and wouldn’t let his house be filmed. That “apartment “ was on a Hollywood studio set. Most of that intro was just for entertainment purposes and didn’t show real places you can find them and was scripted.

The haters rather listen to this shit today, rather than real rock music from the 70s and 80s.
Right! We are so spoiled and had it GOOD! Miss those days Dang! Not sure whats up with music today but sure feel bad for the kidos cause they would not know good music if it came and smacked them in the back of the head! Just sad!!! They have no CRUE, no OZMAN life must suck!
