I’ve tryed these sort of treatments, the best one was steam. Bought a hand held steamer and steamed my bed every night they were gone after about a week. Caught them before they got all over the house so it was easy. I was on the fence about using Harris products, because I was worried I wouldn't use them properly and then treatment would be ineffective. So thank you for the videos! Plus, and this is a big plus! I can get it right down the street at my local Ace hardware, very convenient because I'm there about 4 times a month anyway. Seriously, I love the place!

Take all of your pillowcases and sheets and covers off ur bed and into a trash bags then wash or dry them. While ur shit is washing get some rubbing alcohol or bleach and spray it every where in the room. Then wait an hour and do it again if you want.
Remove your pillow cases and linen. Wash and dry hot. Clorox clean-up + bleach spray kills the ones you can see on the seams of your box spring. Diatomaceous earth is a safe all natural type of sand you can buy at the gardening section of Home Depot. It's a fine powder you can use around your house. They crawl over it, sticks to their bodies and the powder cuts through their exo-skeleton, and it dehydrates them to death. Place four Tupperware containers underneath the legs of your bed and fill them half way with the sand creating a sort of moat. When they try crawling up the legs they fall in, roll in the sand and die. Lastly look up how to make a CO2 trap on UA-cam. Basically uses bakers yeast and warm sugar water to produce CO2. They are attracted to the CO2 you release when you breath out. It's the only way to bait them. Guaranteed to work if you follow the steps.

After watching this video, it seems to me that this might work but only to the degree of how diligent and thorough the person is using this system. In my two episodes of bed bug infestation, HEAT is the only thing that actually works. I would also lean toward diatomaceous earth sprinkled all over, knowing that it dehydrates and kills them eventually (along with other soft bodied insects like aphids). And I’ve read that baking soda does the same thing, which you can sprinkle directly on the bed, your sheets, your floors because it’s completely harmless to people. In talking to an old timer from bygone era, how bed bugs were dealt with in home infestations back in the day (talking The Great Depression, Dust Bowl), a large metal pot or bowl or tub was brought into the house, a layer of dirt was put in the bottom, a very small fire was built in the tub, and sulphur was burned in the fire. The house or room was shut up and the FUMES killed the bugs. Stayed out of the place for a day, then cleaned. A poor man’s fumigation system.
I heard of something.ike that for If a snake was in the house, it would come out, with suffer and lime, smoke out. I never heard, how long it took, but, I do know that is what they used, back in the day, b4 returning, into the house.

Guys I got rid of my infestation with kerosene only. I had a lot of them, but the good thing was that they were all localised in two places- the sofas in the sitting room and the curtains in the main room. So we washed and replaced the curtains quickly and used sprayed kerosene in all the crevices of the sofas, top to bottom. The kerosene cost ₦400(>$1 US). Spraying kerosene is the best and most affordable way to control them. Buy about 1.5L of kerosene and put into a spray bottle, and spray it. Note: It's best to take the chairs/beds outside to spray them so you don't inhale the fumes. Good luck guys.
I'm not expert enough to review Harris as a brand, but I know that when I bought a gallon of Harris brand bedbug spray the sprayer head broke almost immediately. Sure they're not built to last forever but couldn't it at least last until I used up the product?
Get diatomaceous earth if you havent, or cimexa. Use a bulb syringe to puff the dust everywhere they would hide. Eventually the problem will disperse and dissipate
and for the sake of your sleep, if you don't got them yet but suspect your condo complex might or your building/ house property had history of it, get anything I mentioned that you're most comfortable working with, and apply to prevent. DO NOT AIR OUT the space after spraying down regardless of whether spraying to prevent or to eliminate. Because you want to introduce the lavender to the air space in order for everything that the indoor air floats through, Be pickled in lavender scent for best result in protection and prevention. Don't forget to set your alarm clocks and timers for schools jobs appointments so you don't miss those because you might have a long project ahead of you when dealing with eliminating bed bugs.

Just had to deal with an infestation (reminder folks: make sure if you ever get a roommate, be cautious. I never thought I would have to experience bed bugs but sadly here we are). When we moved recently, we washed every piece of clothing and any throw blankets we wanted to keep and put them in trash bags that had bed bug spray in them and kept them out of the infested area. Then, we left all furniture and mattresses. Wed been at our new place for a month and I just saw one. Our roommate didnt wash his clothes or change clothes when we moved, like I requested multiple multiple times. He even brought his blow up mattress and bedding that he didnt wash or spray down. BED BUGS CAN TRAVEL FROM ROOM TO ROOM. Whether it's your roommate deciding to come and lay in your bed for a few hours every day or even just a bed bug crawling, they can travel at the speed of a sprinting human and hitch rides on anything. Rubbing alcohol didnt help us, spray killed some, vacuuming mattresses and stuff only helped so much. I am extremely allergic and I am pissed I have to deal with them again
Like someone said in another comment, ensure the safety of your own bed first. Depending on the type, this might be easy or hard. Make sure it doesn't touch the wall. If you can, take a close look at the frame - cleaning the sheets, mattress and superficial vacuuming of frame may not suffice. My bed has a shitty, light wood frame (these fuckers love to hide in wooden bedframes), so I was able to put it on its side and examine every inch of it. Vacuuming isn't enough even then - eggs can stick to wood well. ALSO, vacuuming doesn't kill bedbugs, they can leave the bag. Crush the bastards manually when you can; when you vacuum, make sure to take the bag out of the machine, put in in a plastic bag and create a gas chamber by putting bug spray in it - then tie the bag, leave overnight and kill the bugs that left the vacuum bag in the morning. Even if your bed is heavy, it's worth putting in the effort to thoroughly clean it. After you've made sure the bed is secure, I suggest placing glue pads for insects under the legs, BUT do it so the glue is pointing down, as it can become contaminated by dust and hair quite quickly (plus you can snag on it). My solution wass to cut holes in pads and put the thin, wood legs through them (with the glue facing down). Avoid placing any items on the bed if you don't use them there to avoid cross-contamination.
Spent the night at a shady hotel, been waking up with bites so I looked it up and all the reviews said they got bites too. I genuinely think I might have bed bugs now and I’ve never had to deal with something like this, I’m not even the one who got the hotel.. if I did I would have checked the reviews before getting the damn hotel and never gotten it, now I wanna cuss my boyfriend out for not doing so 🙃🙃🙃🙃 should I just throw everything I own away and move ? Like ??? I’m poor and don’t make enough money to be doing any of this shit.
If you have bed bugs...you need to call a professional. Go ahead and attempt to diy but you are only going to spread them into other rooms OR, if you are in an apartment, spread them to all your neighbors. You wouldn't want your neighbors using DIY BS. You will not be able to see bedbugs without a magnify glass. You miss a couple and they MULTIPLY. Leave it to the pros.
I agree. I cringe when I see these videos because these methods don’t work. Mostly expensive heat treatments are the only thing to truly get rid of them. And they cost thousands
90% Rubbing alcohol in a spray bottle and spray the heck out of EVERYTHING; furniture, carpet, curtains, etc. Open your windows when you do this and be careful not to have any open flames like candles or pilot lights nearby. The vapors alone can spark a fire. Also get some diatomaceous earth and a garden duster to spray inside crevices. I drilled holes in my walls and pumped the powder into them like crazy. Be sure to fill in the holes or cover with tape in case you have to re-apply powder. This was THEE most effective solution for me. All of that other (professional) stuff didn’t work and cost wayyyy too much money.

Take all of your pillowcases and sheets and covers off ur bed and into a trash bags then wash or dry them. While ur shit is washing get some rubbing alcohol or bleach and spray it every where in the room. Then wait an hour and do it again if you want.
This is uuuhhhh, *diverse* comment section

In conclusion. Get your room or house really really cold and they will leave!
No. Cold only makes them go dormant. Once they warm up, they come back to life. It was the cleaning that got rid of them.
They have to be left at the right temp for the right length of time. They can handle pretty much any temp we can. So it is very lucky that the cold took away your problem

How much does it coast sir?
I came here because theres bug biting me now
How do I get rid of bedbugs in gel-foam mattress?
If you have bed bugs...you need to call a professional.
Go ahead and attempt to diy but you are only going to spread them into other rooms OR, if you are in an apartment, spread them to all your neighbors. You wouldn't want your neighbors using DIY BS. You will not be able to see bedbugs without a magnify glass. You miss a couple and they MULTIPLY. Leave it to the pros.

You must be in the bug exterminator business.
@@TheDarkDresser I was, yes. I've seen it ALLLL.
Nobody can successfully eliminate bedbugs. Especially in multi unit buildings.
