I'm so sorry you went through this. I hope you're okay now? My grandmother is going through a hell of a time with them atm. She had to throw her bed away and she's sleeping on a tiny sofa. I'm so sad 🥺
It's extremely wrong to not tell people you know, when you have them. You have to let people who have visted or you've visted id you find you have them. You could have gotten them from them or they from you. Not telling people is just a really scummy thing to do to people you know
me three!! And I love the way she speaks as well. Really calming to me. I'd researched so many ways to get rid of these bugs. And also, we have NO IDEA from where did we get them into our house. All other solutions are neither portable or repeatable. This right here? Is affordable, portable, repeatable, safe , and my my my! I am just crossing my fingers and toes hoping this is IT! I think my husband is just about ready to move away from me since I'd been turning our room upside down every single day trying to find these bugs! Still yet to find one! And then? Wake up? MORE bites! GRRRRRRRRRRR.... :P
@@drivestorage1779 yes, this thing is no joke. They leave bruises. No one knows who had what first. I read that bedbugs were sprayed with anthrax and are being used as a biological weapon.
Heck yeah, thanks for sharing this is also what I do! I started steaming every week since 3 months ago when I found 5 or 6 adult bugs falling off my bed frame and I was beyond mortified. They hid in little nails and joints within the bed frames so I found small babies and eggs and I just had to do the steaming process every week. My family told me to chill and calm down. But when you go through this shit it is traumatizing af.
Omg I just found some in my room after we thought we had gotten rid of them years ago. I’ve been so traumatized by it in the past and losing sleep over it. It’s 3:30am and I can’t sleep at all thinking about the little bastards. Can you tell me what steamer you used??
I'm shaking and so upset that I could throw up. Just killed two of em. Found a baby one the week of my birthday. I'm so fed up and traumatized. I can't even go to sleep. Im willing to sleep in my computer chair.
As an Exterminator, i give this a thumbs up. Now, dont forget to buy a Home Depot bedbug power, for all light switches and electrical sockes. You have to unscrew the panel. To blow powder around the inner box, not in the actual place you plug something into. Then, silicone the baseboards, all the way around the room. Including the insides of closet door frames. Dust and seal the base and tops of all other doors, window frames and light fixtures. Bedbugs will hide in the walls. So, blow powder around any pipe going into a wall then seal with silicone. Starting with the sink and radiators pipes. Then, you can steam bed and hot 🔥 wash laundry. P.S. make sure you wash curtians and clean clothes in draws near bed and couch 🛋 😴. Flip over night stands and steam all cracks and crevices! Including headboard, bed frames and night stand draws. Yes, its hard work, that's why we charge $350 a room. Also, after steaming carpet, outline the rug with that powder. A light layer aimed at perimeter edge. If you have powder left over, flip couch, steam and dust legs of couch. Focus in cracks and crevices, between and under layed fabric. I recommend an aerosol called Bedlam, for the deep areas you cant reach with steamer. Tho, the power will reach. MAKE SURE POWDER SAYS, "KILLS BEDBUG AND EGGS!"
Yeah, regular heating, discipline, bed bug traps (Bell labs Trapper max and other "mice glue" traps work better than climb-up-style protectors) and diatomaceous earth (but not every kind, just that specific that is meant for insect control) is the only way to get rid of them without heavy chemicals. They are becoming more resistant to chemicals and sometimes even professionals have to try different kinds of chemicals to find something that works especially here in Europe where neonicotinoids are forbidden.
Vacuum first everything , wash and dry ALL YOUR CLOTHES package them up in the bags right away before bugs gets to them , the last thing is STEAM EVERYTHINGS in the house many many times. I did that , never saw a bug in my house for the last three years
@@relatable-withlucyk1085 you need to get a mattress cover that zips up, the kind designed for bedbugs. It will keep more from getting in and the others from getting out. The ones in the mattress will starve to death.
This is so frustrating my dad refuses to get professional treatments like it's ridiculous I get eaten up every night and I have to suffer. I just pray that this works.
I know a master exterminator. There are 5 steps to eliminate of these bugs. 1) put all mattresses and box springs in anti bed bug casings. 2) wash all clothing, blankets, sheets, pillows and pillow cases in hot water, dry on the hot cycle. 3) vacuum all rugs thoroughly every 5-7 days, including under all beds. Also, shampoo all rugs at least once to kill any bugs in your rugs. 4) Steam all beds, all furniture and crevices near your bed once a week. Heat kills them and the eggs. Finally, 5) make sure all clutter and dirty clothes are kept in totes that close. This eliminates most of their breeding spots. Forgive my spelling but diametriois earth applied in a light dusting also kills them. Good luck
Excellent post and the diatomaceous earth is the best but I'm so overwhelmed with this and I'm up at 4:00am writing this as the peppermint oil rpels them but also makes them run away so I'm seeing them shuffle from the smell and I just put on brand new sheets. Keep light sheets om bed so you can see them. Folks don't know about the tiny specks are them too...that's why washing is important as there are tiny ones wishing to grow up omg....😢😮
I wanted to burn the house down and be done with it, my wife got a steamer like you and waged a war that lasted over a year, but no one has been bit in almost 2 years now. Your method here is truly one to not look over. Good luck and I hope they are bearable if not gone now.
@@MzVan21 it’s tough, if you can afford a proper treatment then obviously that’s the way to go, but if not I’m a believer in the steamer. Itlll take a while but you’ll see results if you stay on top of it. I remember wanting to sleep on the damn kitchen counter, just the thought of bed bugs makes my skin crawl. And the scary part is you can bring them home from the movie theater, someone’s jacket or purse from work, visitors that come to your house. And they don’t discriminate between clean and dirty houses, cause every home has beds and base boards. Good luck! And you will get rid of them IF you try.
@@81vintage yes I find myself steaming my house every other day so far I've only gotten bitten once so it must be working....it's just takes time.i know one thing steaming has become part of my cleaning routine now. Especially being pregnant and I'm due in january.cant bring my baby home to bed bugs I can just imagine how irritated a new born will be if he gets bitten.
@@MzVan21 literally in the same situation as u. Due in January and I don't wanna bring a baby into the house with bed bugs. My husband went somewhere and found out 2 days later that the person might have bed bugs... So we are hoping steaming will kill anything before we have major problems
Everybody remember, too: bedbugs are much more common than most people realize, because the stigma around bedbugs usually keeps people quiet because they’re too embarrassed to admit they have the issue. Just because you have bedbugs does not mean you are a dirty person. They spread easily and are too difficult to get rid of, so by the time most people realize they have them, they already have a significant infestation. As she so eloquently stated, “they are pesky little things“. Edit: 1 in 5 Americans either has a bedbug problem or knows someone who has a bedbug problem.
Loved the video and never thought about steam. Thank you. Also use rubbing alcohol in spray bottles. Also remove the outlet covers don't pull it out the wall very far. Once all your outlets a pulled then get you alcohol and spray everything. We cleaned out Wal-Marts isopropyl alcohol b4 pandemic it cost about 100$ included trashbags to put all cloths in and set in the sun for a few days. to fully treat the trailer house. House was fully infected from the blinds to the vents and in everything inbetween. Took 2 day in total.
Here because I just realised we brought them home after a hotel stay....i want you to know your a SAINT....thanks so much for posting this....i skipped by 4 or 5 commercial bs videos on the search until I saw your video...saw this one and thought...THIS lady will have some good advice for us...these bugs are eating my baby's up....thanks for the advice I can't afford the 900 dollars the pest co wants atm...my children thank you...Ill get these little devils...every last one of them....i promise you.
I stayed in a monthly hotel for a few months and had bed bugs. I purchased the matress covers and taped the areas that may be cut at the bottom and corners. I also placed ceramic bowls like the ones for soap bars under each bed leg. I filled the bowls with the bed bug powder. The remaining bugs could not get out from plastic matress cover and I was bed bug free for 6 months. Also keep bed away from wall
Had a friend sleep in my den on the couch. Went to wash the sheets and found bed bug heaven. I pray that they didn't get to any other part of the house. I threw the sofa, pillows and pictures from that room outside. I'm calling the city to come get that couch, calling the pest guy, getting a steamer and doing a house check. That sofa has got to go. Just the thought has got me tripping out. Btw...thank you for the tip.
I'm so grateful for someone speaking up about them. Bed bugs dont care if you're clean or dirty (though it's good to try to keep clutter/trash to a minimum since it gives them extra spaces to hide!). We had a roommate bring them over, and even though our family cleaned every piece of clothing and linen we kept (threw out comforters that were too big to wash) and left all furniture, our roommate refused to. We moved and our room didnt have any for a month, not a single bite or anything, but with our roommate keeping their blow up mattress and not even putting their items in the washer or dryer, and them coming and sitting on our bed daily multiple times we sadly ended up getting them. I found one crawling on the wall and now I'm super paranoid. They are a pain to keep up on and can multiply super fast
And that's where I was struggling to fig out I'm like I'm the most cleanest person and I'm dealing with this.idk if it's cuz I'm a nurse and got them from work .I always take my clothes off at the door.leave the shoes at the door.and then I was thinking my kid's daycare that's a known place for them for be.either way I'm dealing with this and I'm going to buy my a streamer and get steaming the shit out of my house everyday.im 6 months pregnant and I can't bring my new baby home to this bullshit.
That roomate is being destructive that is horrible they should have to pay for your stuff and most definitely wash and steam and throw away belongings double bag stuff you cant wash or steam but leave them in for over a year bc one of them can live thirteen mos. without a meal. also the strongest rubbing alcohol helps put some in spray bottles. Diamatrous earth work wear a mask put down and vacuum every three days matress covers are a must and steam
I Love this video I wish I would of seen it when I was suffering. You are helping soooo many people. It literally gave me ptsd and if I see a small spec that resembles one I have a mini heart attack

Oh my goodness thank you! We have been trying to get rid of these things for what seems like forever. I'm going to be telling all my neighbors about this video as well since we live in an apartment complex. With all of us workin together we can kick these things for good instead of from apartment to apartment.

I commend you on doin that and helping so many mothers out there that are pulling out they hair tryna figure out wtf to do cuz they can’t afford the expensive treatments
Bed Bug Removal I started to notice some bites in January of this year but new nothing about killing bed bugs. To prepare I watched video after video showing the different methods of removing them. I could not afford a professional service so I did this. I waited until we had a forecast high of 115F or 45C. I did this so the bugs could not go deep into the walls and survive. With the outside temperature hot enough to kill them on its own, I blasted the heat and fans inside. I held between 122 and 126 for almost 8 hours in my trailer, using heat from three 1500 watt baseboard heaters. Then instead of renting big fans at about $40.00 per day I bought a 20 inch or 50 cm box fan for the same price, to add to the 5 household fans I already own. If your area is larger buy more fans. I had plans to buy three box fans but they were sold out because of our heat wave. For me this was OK because I have a floor standing air conditioner and used the fan to compensate. With a combination of laundering and heat drying all fabrics, including all bedding and clothes, then heating my place up to a sufficient temperature, I am now bug free. People remember heat treatments work best at the hottest part of the year when bugs can not find holes in the vapor barrier and crawl near the outer wall to stay safe, because outside temperatures are too hot for that option. In winter heat will not work for this same reason, but during hot days it is pretty much a sure kill, if you have enough heat and fans. Hope this helps some of you as well as it did me. My total cost for laundry, fans and power, was about $190.00 and I now own all the fans. The heaters I already owned. If you need to buy them this of course this will up costs. To give you an idea my trailer is my holiday trailer and the floor area is 200 sq. ft. Scale your equipment up as needed. If it happens again I am now prepared in full . Thank you for shearing this good ideas! I have been facing this problem long time and now I did what you did and now I am in good sleep. Thank you once again!😊
I picked them up from a stay at a hotel in NC and what a nightmare. I too bought mattress and box spring encasements online and bought a canister steamer and finally got rid of them. Nothing else worked. I wish I had seen your video at the beginning of my bed bug nightmare. I've been 8 months now and no bugs. Hallelujah ! Your video is awesome thank you for sharing that with everyone.

Thank you for this! I have a 13yr old and just noticed these bugs in his bed. Well his friends always sit on his bed when they come over. I just had a new born and me and him don’t have bites. I’m just glad I have one room to fully tackle but I’m still taking on the whole house. These stores are wild about bed big especially if they are worst than roaches 🙄!
I know this is an older video, but I've got to just say thank you. I dealt with this a couple years ago, and it was a complete nightmare. The complex I was at paid for a heat treatment, and then we moved the heck out. Welp, I'm back at home from college because of quarantine, and we have them again. There's no way we can afford a heat treatment or anything like that. It's the worst in my dad's room. I've been deep cleaning everything regularly, going through the bedding every week, spraying stuff down with alcohol and all that. I just wanted to thank you for sharing your story and how you deal with it. I know God's got a reason, but hoo boi this whole thing can make you feel crazy and out of control. I hope they're gone for good in your home. You seem like a wonderful mother and a helpful friend. All the best.
You are very welcome I'm having to let some things go, before it tries to become infected, but I just uploaded a video about how to start outside your home first, and things that I've been trying has been working though
Bailey Hanes I saw a video last year recommending to use food grade Earth Diatomaceous along with chemical bed bug spray! You have to take out the outlets and put the powder in there because they hide inside outlets and walls. Apply the powder around all your baseboards and your drawers. You should wash all your clothes and bedding as you stated. Steam all your lamps practically everything . Vacuum and steam all the floors! Purchase a big steamer to make it easier! Sprinkle the powder around the baseboards and & under bed frame. As mentioned in the video cover your mattresses with plastic !
I had had a few bedbugs crawl to my bed when I had a roommate with serious bedbug infestation. I'd gone crazy and requested bedbug fumigation through the apartment owners. I actually had to do the spraying myself while the fumigation guy watched. I killed everyone of those evil blood suckers. This was about a decade ago and I've never had it ever since then. Those things, I must tell you, cause very serious psychological trauma. Good luck!
@Andros the apartment that has them is a two bedroom, two story. Quite big. All hard floor except for the closets. The bedrooms are upstairs. Downstairs, it's quite cluttered and messy, lots of boxes on the floor. I did a deep clean of my room every week this summer and didn't see any more on my bed or room, but I know my dad's room has it the worst.

You have to take a multi action approach with these bugs. My daughter got them. When we realized she had them, we bought black flag gallon crawling bug spray, bombed and diatomaceous earth. First we nombed, then sprayed all baseboards. My daughter tore the bottom out of the sofa, sprayed in there. After it dried, she saturated the inside of the sofa with diatomaceous earth. She also sprinkled diamonds earth along all of the baseboards throughout her apartment. She put mattress covers on all of the beds, but she also sprayed her bedframe and legs to her bed. She sprayed her night sands inside and the legs. She put diatomaceous earth inside of the mattress cover too. She did the spraying 3x over a period of about two months. She kept the diatomaceous earth down. Never a problem after that. As she had been coming to my house to do her laundry, it freaked me out, so I treated my house too as a precaution.
I’m in an apartment and we’re dealing with them. I thankfully think it’s more “minor,” found a couple on the bed but it’s our couch that is ground zero :( today pest control came out and sprayed and we loaded up the dog and 2 for 4 hours. Came home and put the sheets and pillows in the dryer for an hour. Found 2 little babies since then... ugh! This is driving me INSANE, I wouldn’t wish these on anyone! I’m going to look into one of these hand held steamers, didn’t even think of those. Thank you!
Kuro Joseph that night was slightly terrifying because they were trying to escape the pesticide but it’s calmed down so much that we’ll maybe see a few live ones a day at most. The pest control is coming out for a second visit Friday and then the final 2 fridays from that. But what we’ve done so far is buy Diatomaceous Earth powder. And that has helped SO much. My couch is basically covered in it (we had already decided we were throwing it away when everything is “over”) and I’ve sprinkled it around my bed and in between my mattress and box spring just in case. Mattress and pillows have a protector on them now. Also, when we see a random one that’s not in powder, we spray it with rubbing alcohol - I know there’s controversy with it but it helps me to feel better knowing the thing is dead ASAP. I still have a bunch of stuff in bags that I’m not ready to take out until the final treatment. My anxiety has calmed a lot since the beginning with all of the above but I still check my bed every night and morning even though the problem is mostly the couch. I plan on using the steamer when all of this is over as like maintenance when we get a new couch and if I ever have a headboard. Good luck! It’s so mentally exhausting and feels like it’s gonna go on forever, but it will get better!❤️
I gave up on the "pros" after 5 times of having my apartment treated and it was just as bad if not worse. Vacuum, steam and when you see them give a nice squirt of Formula 409. Kills them on the spot, like insta-death.

DIATOMACEOUS EARTH! Spread it EVERYWHERE around your mattress, frame, and cracks around carpet. I spread it around the top of my mattress too, making a circle/ barrier for the bed bugs to crawl over in order to get to me. This is the only thing that worked after weeks of bombing, bed bug sprays, and washing all bedding. The powder is cheap and effective. Leave it down for a few days or longer( yes your house will look like a winter wonderland). Please research why, and how the powder effects them. Quick synopsis: It’s completely natural and dries their bodies out as they take it back to their colonies.
I found one crawling on my blanket today. First time I’ve ever seen one of those ugly things. The day after visiting my sister who just found out her previous tenants left bedbugs behind after she rented her house out for a couple years. I’m mortified AF

How is your problem doing? I paid Terminex to do the initial 6 month treatment (they say it's a small infestation and think it's going to be an easy fix but their technician only sprayed and inspected the beds and surrounding furniture. No mattress covers like I was expecting or anything. Even a verbal promise of returning for further treatment but my account does not show any promises of returns.) The technician also told me it would be too extreme to decontaminate BEFORE leaving my home to visit other people (prevent spread) and decontaminate AFTER returning from staying anywhere. What is your experience? They also don't seem to be worried about anything in the basement (even though we go down there for recreation purposes frequently) and they're not concerned about our single cat spreading them. It just seems weird to me and I don't completely trust them (I plan to do weekly/bi-weekly treatments on my own).

Thank you! I've been feeling tiny bites for months. I thought my cats had fleas. Pulled everything apart and those little black pepper looking blood sucking goblins are every where😭😭😭 Headed to get a steamer now! Will update. Thank you girl!
Update: all those black peppers were actually from a flea infestation! Upon closer examination and after dismantling my bedroom and while treating, the wetness turned the black peppers into BLOOD. I was so confused. And the only live one I found was so tiny I couldn't in fact identify it as a flea. So after ALOT of internet searching, I found those black pepper spots were actually called FLEA DUST. Flea dust!!! 😱 I can not even tell y'all how grossed out I am. I never saw one flea on my cats and they weren't really ever scratching. Turns out the carpeted cat stairs we brought into the bedroom was the culprit. I have learned a hard lesson about free furniture and my poor kitties! 😭 When I bathed them the bath water turned a disgusting rusty red color. The plagues of Egypt! Bout fainted! Flea dust is FECUES with undigested blood in it. Y'all!! Anyway if you start steaming and or spraying treatment on any black spots, and they turn bloody looking it ain't Bed Bugs. Lol
Brandy, I feel ya girl. Buy some 70% to 90% alcohol and put it in a spray bottle. Spray around your affected areas as well as use the steam. I buy bed bug powder and also regular soda. This dries them up when the walk through it. They become like the walking dead. This site is very good for telling you what to do. She is very good on explaining how to steam. There is a stigma about having these bugs from hell. Hang in there. 🤗Good look!
I use a similar steamer. I will say you are moving your steamer too fast over those areas. Move at the rate of 1 inch per second maximum speed. Go slow. I've seen adults running from the steam and even out in the open it takes a good blast to kill them, so go slow over those cracks, etc.
your Steamer works one treatment and that night i seen 2 bugs now it's been 3 weeks I've seen not one live bug. I use diatomaceous earth food grade for 2 months Dead Bugs are all under the bed and in the Room. steamer kills EGGS & BUGS Thank you.
Thank you so much I was crying feeling these crawl all over me lawd Jesus can't go to the store till the morning but hope my iron can bring me relief until then! Nothing else has worked ! (I heard diatamaceous earth powder from home depot or baking soda can help if you don't have these on hand and need mild relief until you go to the store folks! We can get thru this 😬✊
Have gotten them twice! I drive trucks that other drivers also drive.Certain that is where I got them. Wash everything in HOT water and dry on HOT! Vaccuum often, use spray and spread diatomatious earth at the threshold to prevent them from leaving the room! Stay dilligent! Repeat often!
I’m in a recovery house right now, and we just found them in the one room. There was an exterminator that came to spray stuff but I’m so scared they will spread into my room. I don’t know what to do at this point, but I have plastic on my bed, traps, I spray rubbing alcohol and vacuum regularly. I hate this! We are very clean also, moving is not an option either. I have spent thousands to get myself back to square one and I feel like I’m falling apart again. Any recommendations?! Cause if not I’m about to take a loan and get the place heat treated.
Thank you for sharing, I have bugs crawling on me at night everytime I look around I find them on the wall on my bed I mop I sweep wash clothes for a couple of days they disappear and I see them coming around again..getting frustrated
I am almost certain that we got motherbuggers delivered with new furniture:( Bought new furniture during pandemic and had to wait almost 8 months for it. Delivery was 2 guys and a truck. We are older, do not go anywhere, not even go out to eat. I have become a steam genie!!! TY for video.
You should be taking that headboard off the wall because they're most likely nested behind that as well. Also any wall hanging pictures and loose bits of wallpapers, drapes etc. I used a steamer with a pointed nozel to get inbetween wood pieces on the bed frame. There's a powder you can get to puff into your outlets. Steam along all baseboard as well and top moulding if you have it. I removed all carpet throughout my home and went with hardwood flooring (still have to steam that too but harder for them to hide.) You can go with perfo flooring to. Place food containers under the feet of all furniture and put some babyoil in the bottoms then they cant climb onto it. Make sure no drapes are in contact w furniture and keep furniture off the wall at least 4 to 6 inches. Get rid of all baskets dried flowers etc. They love books magazine newspapers stacked. Try to reduce as much clutter as possible. They also hide in electronics and multi outlet power strips. They're very difficult and you have to be vigil for at least 9 to 12 mos. They die if they can't feed. Biggest protection stay the heck away from thrift stores like goodwill, savers etc. They don't wash and dry these products as they say. They're too busy and too much comes in so its not profit effective for them. Pure alcohol (medical not to drink) kills them on contact but highly flammable. You can also use a natural disinfectant try to get a lavander scent they hate it and this too kills them on contact for some reason. But yeh they come mostly from thrift 2d hand stores these days. And guests who go to them. They've spread worse than ever throughout the US over the past few years. There's multiple reasons why but no one is allowed to say it. Same with head lice. I successfully got rid of them, took a week then 12 mos of starving them. My kid went to savers and poof suddenly they're back after a few mos of nothing (I've found 3 young ones so far) Im not happy.
No edit on mobile sorry. I want to add that most people you know won't tell you if they have a bedbug or lice problem because they get embarrassed thinking it means they're dirty people. Not true, my home has always been extremely clean. These type of bugs don't care about a clean or dirty home but their colonies will grow in places with a lot of clutter and where people don't clean.
CrossFire. Lavendar deters them, doesn't kill them. Not worth messing with but smells lovely. And for headlice, get your Doctor to write a script for a shampoo that kills them and the knits on contact. Repeat on day 7. You won't have to pick them out of your hair. Just wash the bedding in the morning. You're welcome. (Medicare pays for it but otherwise it's $200 a bottle. And the FDA Approved a topical suspension for kids under 10 in 2005. Lindane is the other one. Again, just ask your doctor. Tell them u tried the over the counter stuff first. Makes getting the prescription easier is all)
Hi I have a question.. How do you clean electronic equipment like computers? because I have bedbugs around my computer and Im being bitten in my computer room.
I have yet to tell anybody about my problem, i got it from a neighbor over a year ago and its been a battle my room is the worst! Deff doing this method! And hope to get some relief
She is absolutely right. I’ve mixed DE, baby powder and baking powder and put that around the bed in mattresses. Vacuumed the mattresses and then steamed them and around the bed also sprayed alcohol mixed with water around the bed. Now I’m waiting on a product called Crossfire to be delivered. It’s what the exterminators use, once I use that I will get some thick plastic or a mattress encasement and seal the mattres after I have sprayed everywhere.

They hid in little nails and joints within the bed frames so I found small babies and eggs and I just had to do the steaming process every week.
My family told me to chill and calm down. But when you go through this shit it is traumatizing af.

I bet you don’t get told this nearly enough, so thank you for what you do. You literally work hard so other people can sleep peacefully at night.
What kind of powder?
Thank you so much! ❤️
@@workingmom432 diamatrous earth you can get it at home depot
Yeah, regular heating, discipline, bed bug traps (Bell labs Trapper max and other "mice glue" traps work better than climb-up-style protectors) and diatomaceous earth (but not every kind, just that specific that is meant for insect control) is the only way to get rid of them without heavy chemicals. They are becoming more resistant to chemicals and sometimes even professionals have to try different kinds of chemicals to find something that works especially here in Europe where neonicotinoids are forbidden.

And the scary part is you can bring them home from the movie theater, someone’s jacket or purse from work, visitors that come to your house.

Also keep bed away from wall
what happened the 7th month?
I don't know where these critters came from but I will be steaming tomorrow . Love your honesty. You are for real.
They come from the depths of hell
That roomie would have to GO!!! that person is too selfish or one of the few folks that rarely gets bit😡
Get cross fire. And stop.letting him in your spaces. I flat couldn't live lime rhat

Bed Bug Removal
I started to notice some bites in January of this year but new nothing about killing bed bugs.

Wow, thank you for the suggestion , I didn't think about that! I don't have a steamer but I do have a vacuum cleaner!
Thank you.. God bless you and your family❣
Thank you!
I’m going through the same! Has the steam worked ? Xx
@@laceyn13 that is how I feel too! Before I knew what was biting me I gave a whole bunch of clothes away. The shame and fear of telling my friend nearly gave me a nervous breakdown. I'm still weak as a cat and my stomach is raw from stress. My next door neighbor has never liked me because I had dogs. He's like this persnickety old man. I've been worrying he'll sue me when he sees the pest control company show up for the evaluation. I've been really sick for years. So I created the perfect storm for them to thrive. Please pray for me that I can get this solved. I don't have a washer to use just now either. Why does everything go wrong all at once? Just as soon as I have the heat treatment I will order a new washer/dryer so I can wash everything but I won't be able to solve this all at once. I just have about fallen apart over it all.
I'd wish them on my worst enemies but suspect they'd use them to give to me and others.
I moved and we had bedbugs in my old place. I took a cardboard box down from the attic I hadn’t touched in over 6 months. Turns out there where bed bugs in there still alive. They survived all the extermination attempts done in the old place too. This vid will help a lot
Yep they can live up to 9 to 12 months without feeding.

Thank you - it's a ton of work. They've been in my house for 4 damn years.... I didn't know they were still here until my daughter came back from college. It TOTALLY sucks. Thanks for your help.
My dear i know that feeling. we dealt with these things for 5 years tried everything even steaming but they were so damn resilient cuz they had spread it was a damn i near infestation, we spent so much money and I even developed an allergic reaction to their bites which broke me out everywhere my face looked A mess finally what worked was ortho home defense haven't had these demonic creatures for 3 years now but I get you these things can drive you to your limit.

Quick synopsis: It’s completely natural and dries their bodies out as they take it back to their colonies.
is it safe for pets ?
Yes get food grade
What type of bomber you used?
I love the diatomaceous earth but it has to be where the bugs will get in it.
I am experiencing bed bugs for the first time and let me tell you I am traumatized.
I found one crawling on my blanket today. First time I’ve ever seen one of those ugly things. The day after visiting my sister who just found out her previous tenants left bedbugs behind after she rented her house out for a couple years. I’m mortified AF

Tks darling! It is a very helpful video!
Thank you for this. I made the mistake of buying a mattress on Amazon, the first month I didn't notice anything and now I find bed bugs and it's revolting. I have never had them before. Thankfully I don't have carpet.
Thanks for the video!
Me and my mom have been dealing with these annoying bed bugs and we will give this a try !
I seem to have a light infestation. I’ve been bitten a few times over the weekend, I went through this before years ago so I know the drill. I have a hand held steamer so I am going to try that too
The steamer kills them on contact
Did it work for you?
Yes, but you can't do it all in one setting, you have to stay on top of it.
@@RINATALKSTV I had trouble with the steam not killing the eggs, I put tea tree oil in the steamer and it seems to have made a big difference. Everything is covered in DE at the moment, I am about to vacuum and steam everything again...God bless us all!
How is your problem doing? I paid Terminex to do the initial 6 month treatment (they say it's a small infestation and think it's going to be an easy fix but their technician only sprayed and inspected the beds and surrounding furniture. No mattress covers like I was expecting or anything. Even a verbal promise of returning for further treatment but my account does not show any promises of returns.)
The technician also told me it would be too extreme to decontaminate BEFORE leaving my home to visit other people (prevent spread) and decontaminate AFTER returning from staying anywhere. What is your experience? They also don't seem to be worried about anything in the basement (even though we go down there for recreation purposes frequently) and they're not concerned about our single cat spreading them. It just seems weird to me and I don't completely trust them (I plan to do weekly/bi-weekly treatments on my own).

Thanks 4 sharing. Q???.. Where did you buy the plastic cover to seal the mattress???.
I had them and I had used diamatrias Earth a whole bunch of it and I vacuumed and did everything but honestly what helped me was literally washed and dry everything you possibly can and then buy a steamer it's $100 from harbor freight and steam your mattresses steam the floor steam everything you cannot wash wear gloves because it gets very very hot and just seem the heck out of everything and buy mattress covers after you do that and literally that saved me I was doing other things for months literally

Lol
Your so welcome
@@brandyc24_7 Fleas are the worst! I've had bedbugs and fleas, and bedbug feces also turn bloody when wet.
I bet it was bed bug poop though.
Thank you hun those tips were helpful. Ps. I love your shirt !

Hello, what brand of hand steamer do you have and where did you purchase it? I found 5 bugs on my bed.
God bless you woman.

Thank you for sharing, I have bugs crawling on me at night everytime I look around I find them on the wall on my bed I mop I sweep wash clothes for a couple of days they disappear and I see them coming around again..getting frustrated
Uhhhhh same they're like irredicable
@@mysteriouschicken1169 trust me, you can get rid of these. It just takes diligence, being very clean, lots of alcohol, and not giving up!
I am almost certain that we got motherbuggers delivered with new furniture:( Bought new furniture during pandemic and had to wait almost 8 months for it. Delivery was 2 guys and a truck. We are older, do not go anywhere, not even go out to eat. I have become a steam genie!!! TY for video.
your welcome!
So basically just steam clean everything? What kind of steamer is that and what would you recommend?
Thank you so much 😊 idk 🤷🏽♀️ how my babies got these things in there bed it’s a nightmare..!!!
You’re welcome 😊
My kid went to savers and poof suddenly they're back after a few mos of nothing (I've found 3 young ones so far)
Im not happy.
Oh and pest control will charge a lot and even they can't guarantee the work
No edit on mobile sorry.
Hotels are more like than thrift stores

Kubwa Na Zuri I used 71%
What’s De?
Alicia Dillipree Diatomaceous Earth
You can use crossfire on the beds but you have to repeat every four to six weeks for a year.
And when you say washing all the clothes do you need to package them up in bags
Vacuum first everything , wash and dry ALL YOUR CLOTHES package them up in the bags right away before bugs gets to them , the last thing is STEAM EVERY THINGS in the house many many times
I did that i never saw a bug in my house for the last three years
When were you able to take the clothes out of bags again?
