For someone who recently battled an infestation, it was small/mild, nothing crazy! But here are my tips and please use it to your full advantage no matter how big or small your infestation is. This is going to be a LONG READ!!! But it’s helpful!!! 1: Buy mattress, pillow, and box spring covers/ encasements. Specifically made for bed bugs because it has a material that bed bugs have a hard time crawling on. Also, once the covers/ encasements are on, Bed Bugs can’t come out and they can’t go in! Bed bugs are known for hiding inside of your mattress and mainly your box spring. If you’re an aggressive sleeper or sleep with someone, buy two! Just in case one of them rips or tears. 2: Buy bed bug interceptors, put them on the legs of your bed frame, so when they try to climb up to your bed to bite you, they’ll get trapped! You can also put this on the legs of your furniture or on other bed frames in your home for PROTECTION. The first step to stop the infestation from getting worst, is to not let them bite you! That’s how they turn into adults and lay eggs, with a lot of blood consumption. 3: Buy CimeXa powder with a powder duster tool from a company like Amazon. Put some of the powder inside of the bed bug interceptors (the inner part where the legs of your bed frame or any other furniture would go, not the outer part.) These powders will legitimately kill all stages of bed bugs within a 1-3 day period, including every other insect as well! You should use this powder in corners, holes, cracks, under your mattress & under your furniture. But use a face mask with gloves when you’re applying the powder and do not over use it. This powder should be applied like dust, if you throw chunks of powder all over the place then insects will just find a way around it. This powder also stays where it’s been applied for A LONG TIME! Unless you vacuum it up with a strong vacuum or you clean it up with a liquid substance. If you do then you’ll need to reapply it but this powder destroy insects!!! Once they walk directly onto/ over it. A lot of people would mention DE, but apparently it causes breathing problems and takes longer to kill bed bugs compared to CimeXa. So buy CimeXa with a powder duster tool. 4: Keep your bed away from the wall! Make sure your sheets aren’t hanging off of the bed, or you don’t have a charger or anything that the bed bugs can climb onto without them using the legs of your bed frame. If you wake up and find your pillow or blanket on the floor, leave it there! Dont pick it up and use it to go back to sleep. 5: Buy ortho bed bug spray or crossfire! It kills all stages of bed bugs on contact! And it kills bed bugs even after it dries, by leaving traces of poison that sticks to their body, they have no resistant to it either. So spray these in areas where there’s bed bug activity or places where they’d most likely hide. Cracks, corners, holes, etc… remember that they hide CLOSE TO YOU! Rubbing alcohol is great too! But once it dries then it’s pretty much useless. Alcohol only kills stages of bed bugs on contact! Ortho and crossfire leaves behind poison that sticks to all insects. These sprays aren’t flammable and they will not stain or damage your furniture. So you can completely spray down your walls, floors, carpet, furniture, etc… without any negative effects. They do have a scent, but it’s not a super strong or bad scent at all.
Wow, comprehensive guide, thank you. Mark Robber's video on bed bugs also lists heat as a way to kill bed bugs on contact, with something like a steamer or clothes iron. He also mentions that they could hide in clothes, so washing on high heat is also a way to kill them, but not all clothes can be washed on Hot, so other methods should be used. This is also a problem because I also use my bed as a couch, with clothes on.
I'll never forget staying the night at a guy who said he might have bed bugs back in the day and him passing out immediately to leave me awake when I immediately feel the odd sensation of something crawling over my skin... over the next 6 hours I killed 97 of them just didn't sleep and couldn't believe it when my friend woke up and wanted to deny it further when I explained how id spent the last 5 or so hours hunting the hunters and trying to find their Dungeness nest
Lmao Dungeness nest. I felt your pain tho. I got bit a couple times but when I left for a weekend, the night back.... it like they had babies and were starving. I couldn't sleep. It was terrifying lol
Thank you for this, showing real size on camera so people can see actually how small they are and can recognise them. Please can you show us an egg, so we can recognise them too
Eggs are teeny white rice shaped, pin head size. Bed bugs when fed, the adults look like apple seed pips, or a flax seed, same size, approx 4-5mm. Nymphs are smaller but similar. I have a memory foam mattress, they can’t walk through dense foam, they’ll only be on the cover, meaning, don’t throw a memory foam mattress away, boil wash the cover and the mattress will be fine.
This is why I hate apartment living, specially in old buildings. It is so easy to get pest through cracks around windows, doors, cracks in floors and walls. Pest just go from one apartment to the next, invading your space. Then to make matters worse, some tenants aren't proactive at all. They do not try to eliminate the problem, just let things linger on affecting everyone else.
This is true. But I also find Single family houses and new construction homes to have many pest problems as well so its all about control since one can never fully escape pests.
This is what REALLY works: hear me out and follow this, to get rid of your bedbugs. First, Put in place your frame and headboard where you want them set up. I recommend you have your mattress and box springs up on metal frames (bed bugs can't crawl on slippery surfaces like un-dented metal, polished aluminum, or shiny smooth plastic.) Please note that Wood, although pretty, tends to have wood grains, layers, slits, grooves, indentions, and pores that make some wood fairly easy for bed bugs to climb up. So wood, unless it has been sanded down and polished to where it is EXTREMELY smooth and has a layer or more of gloss coat; isnt "recommended" for your bedframe/headboard decor. Either way, whatever you choose-- make sure that your bed frame and headboard are always A COUPLE INCHES AWAY FROM THE WALL (that way any bed bugs trying to crawl along the wall to find a way onto the bed can't touch the bed anywhere to latch on) and it also leaves space between the wall and any pillows that might accidentally get moved or pushed back in the middle of the night. Sprinkle a good, generous amount of food grade Diatomaceous Earth around any headboard legs and each one of the bedframe legs (including any middle ones) so any who try to crawl up the legs trying to get to you sleeping will not only have powder on their legs making stuff they try to climb extra slippery but also make climbing up metal poles impossible, they'll also be getting cut and shredded by the Diatomaceous Earth at the same time that it is drying out their outer shells eventually killing all who walk through it. **"Food grade" Diatomaceous Earth is safe for you to breathe or consume, as well as pets. (But it's deadly to bed bugs and their outer glossy shell.) So it's safe to sprinkle anywhere else around your house that you need to. (Think nightstands/dressers, bedroom baseboards and especially along the back wall behind your bed!) Next, Starting over with a brand new mattress and box frame is ideal, but if you want to attempt to take your chances that the bed bag won't get a tear, throw your used ones in a bug proof, sealed, mattress bag. Just make sure that if using new mattresses they're NOT in the house, or if they're used they're not in their new bags WHILE you're getting the frame and the headboard setup! You DON'T want bugs getting on the new or (bagged) mattresses before you even get them on the frame.... Once your frame is in place with Diatomaceous Earth around all legs of bed, (and base of surrounding furniture.) THEN you can carry in and place your new mattresses directly on the frame, or put old mattresses in their bags and then directly on the frame making sure none touch or drag on the floor. Then proceed to make your bed, making sure that no nightstands are touching the side of your bed or blankets, as well as NO blankets or bedskirts are touching the floor (that is really important!) Bed skirts really aren't recommended during you trying to get rid of bed bugs because they fall out move around so easily, and are always touching the ground somewhere making an easy access up to the bed. And no pillows or blankets touching the wall! You want NOTHING on your bed touching its surroundings! Floor, walls, tables.... Nothing that bed bugs can try and climb to get onto the bed with you! And THAT my folks is how to put an end to your bed bug infestation! Eventually if the diatomaceous earth doesn't kill them trying to get up to you (which it will eventually) then starving to death will. Just make sure that before bed every night and every morning after you wake up, Everything is in place. Blankets aren't dragging on the floor, or the carpet.... or touching the walls.. or end tables..or anything or it WILL restart (or keep) a bedbug infestation going. Please Note: This HAS to be done with ALL people sleeping in the house for it to be effective! Kids rooms included... Because therwise if the bed bugs can't reach you, they'll try to travel to someone else sleeping who they can find an easy access to and will keep the infestation going in your home that way. Good luck everyone!
This video is the best of the best case, seeing the bugs against a black surface on the bed base. On the EPA's site it says "At the junction where the wall and the ceiling meet." You're not an outlier.
I went to a new girl friend's house, i asked to use the bathroom, while i was standing over the toilet i noticed a lot of red spots on the bathroom walls which i believe were remnants of bed bugs, when i went into his living room she asked if i wanted to sit on the couch while i waited for her, i told her no thanks ill sit on the porch , i decided not to go there no more.

You’re looking at $2k for a 1500 sq ft home for treatment. Took heat treatment & chemical treatment to kill them, and make sure you get a guarantee because one time treatment will not kill them all. My pest control guy came out 4 times, and forgot to drill holes in the walls. And yes they will hide in the walls. Another $8k to stay in hotel for almost a month. Be prepared to live out of bags. And spend your days using your dryer (literally)...if you don’t have a clothes dryer you’re screwed because that’s the only way to kill bugs.
The problem is encasement can get tiny tears. So , tons of hungry BBS can get out because they can survive without feeding 2 years later. Always treat mattresses with Crossfire or at least Cimexa before encasing.
high quality covers are very difficult to tear. they need to stay on for at least 12 months. mattress should be vacuumed first with a hepa vac to remove eggs and bb
The ones I had barely moved even when I was inches from them, just seemed to be chill and stare off into nowhere with their little bug eyes. Blood must be like a narcotic to them. Maybe they can't see too far in front of them because I could look one in the eyes and it would easily win a staring contest.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 They look like the booklice to me. Had them on my bookshelf awhile back. Or do they just look really similar? Can bed bugs inhabit wood furniture?
" Don't let the bed bugs bite your doopy." My grandmother used to say that when I was a kid lol an here I am 20 years later for the first time letting them bite my doopy. I work inside peoples home for a living an must have brought them home a couple months ago. I bought two plastic mattress bags one for my bed an one for my box spring. Bought a steam cleaner an a new vacuum with the hot water feature. Took mattress an box spring out in the bags along with saran wrapping my frame now sitting in 3 degrees outside my house. Used my old vacuum an vacuumed underneath my bed an baseboards. Used steamer an steamed the carpet and baseboards then used my new vacuum an threw the old one out in a garbage bag. Then I sprayed cleaning mix with bleach an sprayed my baseboards. Only found 15 bed bugs in the last week since finding out I had them but I hope I'm good LOL.
Did that work? I did the exact same thing double wrapped my box spring and mattress. Plastic wrapped my bed frame after steaming and treating with chemicals
@@toniolavey8137 At first no, I missed a few more under my computer chair in the same room, ended up throwing that out an bought crossfire industrial grade bed bug killer. Sprayed that and cleaned every 2-3weeks for 2 months and haven't seen any in months.
Replying to Sunwealth and Bug Bully Rode: I’d love to know how pest control employees do not get bed bugs bc it seems once one family gets them (unknowingly) then everyone for miles around gets them! From kids spreading them in school bus, at school, church, in each others cars, kids wearing someone’s clothes, people riding in your vehicles!!!!! How do y’all not get them!!!????
He failed to mention bed bugs can live for over a year even known to live 16 months without a food source. So you would have to have the encasement on for that long without opening it, cleaning it or hopefully not tearing it accidently or wearing through it. Just FYI. 😅😩😎
once the mattress/boxspring cover is on you never take it off. the high-quality covers are hard to tear but if that happens it should be taped or replaced.
man, this one actually looks a looot more like what people say are booklice! the thin shape, the head quite seperated from the body... but this surely is a bed bug?
A strange insect is biting me during the day and night but they are pinpoint size and I found dozens in my bathroom as the majority of them were. That's what makes me think mine aren't bedbugs. There's nothing hiding on the mattress.
This made me believe what I have in my car is ghost ants and not bed bugs. They move much faster than this and look a bit different. First video I've seen showing a small moving nymph so thanks
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 Will have to see. For now I got some hotshot diatomaceous earth and some foggers and I haven't seen any new ones yet but I will see what happens. The neighbors got angry for me reporting them to the landord, and my family told me to apologize. I said well they can be angry, since they were the ones with bedbugs in the first place. I don't think my family understands living with bedbugs is a nightmare.
@@retsaMoN I would use climb-ups. cimexa instead of DE, bedlam or maybe a little hot shot. but don't use foggers - they can make the problem worse. bed bug supply dot com has some good stuff.
i had 1 on my bed last night and on a wall today both are dead. sadly i seem to have agood supply of them. they came from a neighbors apt. and the exterminator is on his 4th trip here.
Bed bugs can live without eating for close to a year. Putting a bed cover on really isn't the best advice. The best thing and only way to get rid of them is calling an exterminator and even then your not guaranteed to kill them all. Sometimes it takes a few visits from an exterminator to get rid of all of them. Dont cover up the problem and think it's going to go away because it's not.
Once you put on the bed bug cover you never take it off. It should zip up. This way if there are any eggs (especially in the box spring) they won't be able to escape the cover. Covers also eliminate hiding areas in the mattress seams and box spring. Ive been an exterminator for 16 years and tell every customer to get mattress and box spring covers. Its not a way to 'cover up' the problem it is a useful tool in the elimination process I'm at about a 100% elimination rate on bed bugs with 2 treatments.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 yes after the exterminator comes in its recommended to put covers on beds to help prevent a futher big infection but if your house is full of bed bugs I dont recommend anyone just putting bed covers on and expect the problem to go away. First treatment, then bed covers.
@@Catcvcv bed bugs can require a full treatment to all areas- bed frame, mattress, outlets, baseboards, ceilings, etc. If they are in the mattress or boxspring then a cover will keep them in there until they die (these areas can also be treated to kill them faster and they can also be vacuumed with a heppa vac) and it will also eliminate the box spring and mattress as hiding areas because the cover is smooth and zips up and does not have seams or wood beams like the boxspring. Once the covers are on then other areas have to be treated. Bed bugs require an elimination process not just one quick fix. But covering the boxspring and mattress is a great starting point for any bed bug treatment process.
@@Blameberg its a bed bug. it has no color because it has not had a blood meal yet. once they have a blood meal they become more oval shaped and darker in color.
Are there some insects that could be mistaken for bed bugs? I’m curious, do bed bug covers not allow them to crawl on that cover? What are the traps you put on the stands of the bed frame called & where can you get them?
I've seen people mistake a lot of thigs for bed bugs, but its pretty clear what they are once you've seen a few of them. bed bug cover trap any bugs/eggs inside the cover and box-spring. This is important as they can hide on the wood of the boxspring making it difficult to treat. When a cover is placed on the mattress/boxspring it make that area no longer a place to hide and traps any inside (covers should never be taken off once put on) They are called climb-up bed bug traps. search on amazon.
Yea ortho home defense does work i had a mild infestation from what it looked like i went crazy with it finished 2 bottles but the third one seemed to do the trick i sprayed everywhere even my car twice just in case I haven't wiped down my walls just in case its been 3 weeks since ive seen one but still stripping my bed when i wake up still got my clothes in airtight boxes and bags cant be too sure just being cautious
Saw some today on my wood floor. Just moved in to a Newly built apartment complex. I counted 5 so far. I read online that in this very early stage and also for grown bed Bugs a steam gun or cleanen can kill them, Is that true? Is it worth a try? Hope to get an answer from you professional with experience .
are you sure that they are bed bugs? and if you just moved in then the landlord should have an exterminator do an inspection to be safe. a steam gun isn't the best option. I would have an exterminator take a look.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 im not sure if they are bedbugs, i tried to make some pictures of them but they are so tiny that makes it really difficult. I would really appreciate it if i could send you the pictures and you can tell me your opinion on what they are. Greetings
Can u see the legs on the little ones? What about their antenna? I have a pic of something and I zoomed in. It doesn't look like it has antennas or legs. I may just be being paranoid. Been there, done that. Ny neighbors' garbage picked an infested couch. I was livid.. they came upstairs. Is it true they travel up? I read they are like a pyramid and travel to the peak of a house.
I’m curious, if you put a cover on a mattress, does it prevent new ones from crawling on the mattress as well or does it just trap & suffocate the ones already on there? Also, I heard that steamers are good for killing them..can I buy a small portable one for around $40 to $50 & steam the areas around my mattress?
it does not prevent new ones. it just eliminates the mattress and box-spring as hiding spots allowing treatment to focus on other areas. Any eggs etc are trapped in the seams and box spring. via the covers. Instead of a steamer I would buy a hepa vacuum and/or use sterifab you'll have much better results than with a steamer
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 forgot to ask, what about that diatomaceous earth powder? Did you ever try this? I read that it’s bad if you inhale it though. Do you know if this is true?

After my apartment is heat treated and I’ve wiped everything down in 91% alcohol, what do I do with my mattress and bed frame. My bed frame is wooden , Malm-IKEA, and the mattress is memory foam. I want to throw everything out due to the psychological trauma, but should I just wipe the frame and vacuum the mattress and resume life? Also, what’s the chances of them returning after that 5hr heat treatment?
Its possible. Especially if you have a friend who has them and you see them and the bug is on them or their purse and jumps on u . You go home and yep that is what happens. Or if you have a guest visit. Vaccum and diamacious earth help. Frequently cleaning. No clutter . Metal frame is ideal
How long can bedbug adults & nymphs survive without food/blood until they die from starvation? I read it can be 6-12 months average, which is disconcerting. That means if someone puts a full zip-up cover around the mattress, the bedbugs trapped inside could live there for that long.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 ... I will take that under advisement, but that still doesn't answer my question. Do you have any experience seeing how long they live in such a foodless & maybe airless environment such as a fully encasing bed cover?
I don't think the one at 0:25 is a bed bug nymph. Looks more like a book louse. But there's obviously a bed bug infestation going on 100% but sometimes you can get both.
That nymph has fed, they are see through when born, and the first neal shows as a red dot in their body then, they turn grey/ creamy like that.. That's why the first hatchlings are microscopic, they're see thru, and very hungry..., and even when they have the red dot, very hard to see... Until they've already fed 4 it 5 times to get to a cream colored nymph
I dont find them easily, up-ended my mattress recently. The list of places is very long to search. I feel like I should nanny cam myself getting bitten lol
Had treatment in apartment but we still feel bites! I think they reside on our vehicle as well. So steam cleaning car again! Then treating mattress and recliners again on our own. We're just going to high heat dry the clothes we brought out from our truck (safe zone). Fml
im seeing some comments here of people saying the bed bugs returned again, how long did it take for them to start biting again? also do bed bugs latch onto hair?
I have seen customers with bed bugs in their hair. Bed bugs need a blood meal (need to bite) in order to go through the stages of development so if there are active bed bugs they will bite

Question how likely to see bed bugs in bathroom turned the light on and immediately something tiny was running toward me like searching for food I couldn’t make out what it was because I tried picking up with toilet paper and smashed it no blood I think unfed it was moving fast as an ant so clueless
for bed bugs in the bathroom its pretty rare. usually there are signs of them in the bedroom before and then they are transported into the bathroom and other areas of the home. But you'd have to get a sample of the bug to be sure.
So this is just a question how do bed bugs live in outlets and why I even had my flashlight on and was looking in the outlets I did not take the cover off because I was scared they would get out and tons would flood out and be like we comming for you and so I checked and I saw nothing do they live all the way in the outlet Also I saw some yellow ones on my couch today do you exterminate for free I killed the yellow ones on my couch
they can live or hide anywhere around their food source (people) so outlets are a safe place to hide that's usually close to the bed. If they are in the outlets it have to be a pretty decent infestation.

i would put them in the dryer. The dryer heat will kill any bugs that might be on them. But it is possible to get bed bugs that hide in stuffed animals, I have seen it many times.
something biting on my couch but really only beneath my underwear and I have been told exposed skin is the target. other than being under my clothes they seem very much like bed bugs. so irritating
bed bugs and signs of bed bugs are visible so if its bed bugs you'll eventually see signs of them. and typically you won't feel bed bugs as they bite, unlike a mosquito that you'll feel right away or fleas. Inspect the underside of the furniture also for signs.
Should I use bed bug Foggers¿ there were a few on my bed, we had sprayed but they had came back one week later. Do foggers work¿ or should I get an expert to come heat my room.
I wouldnt recommend foggers for bed bugs. You can vacumm with a hepa vac, wash/dry bedding materials and use climb-ups. Or contact a local exterminator for a treatment
Small or little bigger bed bugs when you came close with fingers to them can jump?? i don't know if ur gonna know the answer to this, but do you know of REALLY tiny bugs, smaller then ants, that are attracted to phone screens? there are a few crawling around my house and i have no clue what they are.
Let me ask you because I've had it myself and I live in Toronto housing Toronto community housing and I will tell you it takes a couple of months 6 to 9 months to get rid of them once you have them because as much as you can complain and say you're still getting bit when the inspector comes and he sees no lights no life evidence of bed bugs but yet you're still getting bit what do you do then what do you do when the specialist says that they have 20 years experience and even though your spring 99% alcohol on your bed and you see black little things popping up and he's telling you it's not bed bugs then what is it because the only thing I see is little black specks of like pepper and I'm still getting bit in threes that's the only bug I know that bites in three I don't know any other bug so what do you do at that point when you had three or four inspectors say they see no life evidence and when you get sprayed they say they see no life evidence of bed bugs but yet when you sleep you're getting bit

I stripped everything and put in the wash. I put every pillow in a garbage bag. I checked all over the mattress and box spring. I’m googling and YouTubing and freaking the flip out. Is it bed bugs? I didn’t find them anywhere else besides when I first lay my head up. Could they have been on me from outside?!
Watxhing this video to see if i have any baby bed bugs. I dont think so but id appreciate feedback: I found 2 small small dot sized bugs. Not plump at all, brown/black (cant really tell, very small). They arent nearly as big as the baby bed bugs though. I check my mattress edges and linings, did not see any small rice sized eggs or anything or any other bug. So what could they be?
Hi there are so many possibilities that its hard to say without seeing a sample bug. The biggest thing with bed bugs is the stains that they leave. Id recommend a mattress and box-spring cover that zips up and the use of climb-up traps (you can get on amazon) start with that for bed bug monitoring and then call in a local exterminator if needed.
So how in the world do you think a bed cover is going to kill them man whenever a bed bug can live in a sealed up baseboard at the bottom of the wall or a sealed up electrical plug-in in your bedroom that's got silicone around the outside cover if it's in the inside of it it can live up to a year without eating so how do you think zipping them up inside a mattress cover is going to kill them whenever they can still breathe
"it can live up to a year without eating" you answered your own question. Nymphs must have a blood meal in order to become adults, if they can't eat, they die. Once the cover is on, it is left on forever or at least a year. The mattress cover never needs to be taken off once it is put on unless it rips.
I saw that video l imagine that a lot of peoples been getting bit & they think is allergy from some medication when in reality is those little invisible bugs that are running through them & biting & sucking to them worth than mosquitos l saw videos & hear people's talking about the allergy rash reaction & read about it is true or no ?
They are an impossible problem to deal with you would never see them on a patterned background If you go to all the effort to get rid of the repulsive things it's so easy to reintroduce them either from you bringing them into your home on articles brought into your home you can't thoroughly inspect every seam and crevis it would be a full time job occupying all your time

@@NextLevelMeNowthe eggs are there in the video
They look like tiny teeny bit of white rice, a round/oval cocoon.
But I also find Single family houses and new construction homes to have many pest problems as well so its all about control since one can never fully escape pests.
not, if the flooring is marble tile,
Most people are filthy.
We just moved into this apartment and i found bed bugs. It’s a tough battle!
Thank you! I've been looking for live interaction with bed bugs so I can get a good idea what to look for!
(Think nightstands/dressers, bedroom baseboards and especially along the back wall behind your bed!)
Next, Starting over with a brand new mattress and box frame is ideal, but if you want to attempt to take your chances that the bed bag won't get a tear, throw your used ones in a bug proof, sealed, mattress bag.
Thanks

I am sensetive to bed bug bites, will i have itchings and redness from baby bed bug bites as well?
No matter the stage, it itches and you might redness. It depends person to person but generally those are the symptoms.
@@white-vq9kb exactly. bed bug covers are not a solution alone but a tool that's used as part of the overall elimination process.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 if you get rid of the bed as a hiding place then wont the bedbugs find another place to hide and multiply there?

When a cover is placed on the mattress/boxspring it make that area no longer a place to hide and traps any inside (covers should never be taken off once put on) They are called climb-up bed bug traps. search on amazon.

it does not prevent new ones. it just eliminates the mattress and box-spring as hiding spots allowing treatment to focus on other areas. Any eggs etc are trapped in the seams and box spring. via the covers. Instead of a steamer I would buy a hepa vacuum and/or use sterifab you'll have much better results than with a steamer

How long can bedbug adults & nymphs survive without food/blood until they die from starvation? I read it can be 6-12 months average, which is disconcerting. That means if someone puts a full zip-up cover around the mattress, the bedbugs trapped inside could live there for that long.
Once the covers are put on, they should never be taken off unless they rip. If they rip they should be replaced.

Can these be found on a marble floor?
they can be found anywhere but they typically prefer wood surfaces
hi hi I found bed bugs on my anti bed bugs bed. But those bugs only come near to my plushie (which is not anti bed bugs). Is there any chances if I throw away those plushies. (Also my bed have a level 🛏
hi I would call a local exterminator to do an inspection. bed bugs can live in many different places so it is possible.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 its ok me and my parents decide to vacuum every sneak places today , also include under the bed . I hope I can get rid of em qwq.
Theres been cases where houses had to be demolished to get rid of them. They are resistant to most chemicals!
what if you powdered the bed up w diatomaceous earth before you encase the bed? would that kill em faster?
its not really necessary. the purpose of the cover is to trap anything inside (especially with the box spring) and to limit hiding areas like the seams of the mattress. DE just gets all over the place and makes a mess. just get a good cover that zips up and it will be fine.
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 i figured no need wait months and months to starve em, kill em right then in 14 days... lol
@@linsanity1981 that works too ;)
Great idea hun. I would never just cover them up , knowing they’re crawling around in there . Plus the covers are ugly ! I don’t want to look at that. Just get them treated first then put covers over bug free mattress’ to prevent infestation into mattress’
Sooo do you burn all your clothes every night after work? How does that not bother you guys, doing what you do?
As long as you're cautious and have some experience with treating bed bugs its not to concerning. 18 years I've never had an issue bringing them home. Fleas are much worse and will get on you and into your truck, not fun.
I’ve been outside all day but before my shower I was laying on my bed scrolling on my phone. I kept thinking I felt something on my face and neck. I kept swiping my skin. Then I see this teeny tiny grayish/brown bug on my screen. I’m taking small. I instantly freak and get up. I look hard at my pillow where my head was and I see a few more of them. Almost microscopic. I stripped everything and put in the wash. I put every pillow in a garbage bag. I checked all over the mattress and box spring. I’m googling and YouTubing and freaking the flip out. Is it bed bugs? I didn’t find them anywhere else besides when I first lay my head up. Could they have been on me from outside?!
i would call a local exterminator in your area for an inspection. it could be a few different things i wouldn't be able to diagnose without seeing it.
It's morgellens. They spray it through air in planes . Im itching like hell and they bite too. They look like lint flying through air.
Is that the smallest they get
before they have a blood meal you can barely see them. they're pretty tiny
Bug Bully Pest Control Grafton MA ok thanks
@@gregorycastillo4799 They are really really tiny , You could barely see them
I saw one on my phone screen crawling around
Watxhing this video to see if i have any baby bed bugs. I dont think so but id appreciate feedback:
I found 2 small small dot sized bugs.
What do they feel like when they small?
its the same as an adult I believe, but not completely sure.
Do bed bugs fly
no
So how in the world do you think a bed cover is going to kill them man whenever a bed bug can live in a sealed up baseboard at the bottom of the wall or a sealed up electrical plug-in in your bedroom that's got silicone around the outside cover if it's in the inside of it it can live up to a year without eating so how do you think zipping them up inside a mattress cover is going to kill them whenever they can still breathe
"it can live up to a year without eating" you answered your own question. Nymphs must have a blood meal in order to become adults, if they can't eat, they die. Once the cover is on, it is left on forever or at least a year. The mattress cover never needs to be taken off once it is put on unless it rips.
What is the solution?
temprid, cimexa, cross-fire, climb-ups, mattress/box-spring covers, hepa vacuum. Or heat.
i only googled this too see what was on my hand 2 hours ago
maybe a bed bug 🤔
Are bed blue with stripes
sounds about right
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 Blue and white stripes right .
They are like the size of a small sesame seed.
Can these baby bugs be killed with 90 percent alcohol?
yes if you spray them directly. Steri-fab is a alcohol product but it leaves no residual so should not be used as the only treatment method.
Dose bed bugs have blood in them
they feed on human blood. yes
Eine einfarbige grüne Bepflanzung passt perfekt zu modernen Gärten.
Do you know that I don't have any bed bugs at my dad's or mom's house

I have had a matress protector on mine for a year and 9 months can i take it off now too wash?
its probably ok to take off and wash
No

I saw that video l imagine that a lot of peoples been getting bit & they think is allergy from some medication when in reality is those little invisible bugs that are running through them & biting & sucking to them worth than mosquitos l saw videos & hear people's talking about the allergy rash reaction & read about it is true or no ?
why aren't they running?
Sometimes they will run but not always
I once saw a bed bug baby that body looked transparent
They are an impossible problem to deal with you would never see them on a patterned background If you go to all the effort to get rid of the repulsive things it's so easy to reintroduce them either from you bringing them into your home on articles brought into your home you can't thoroughly inspect every seam and crevis it would be a full time job occupying all your time
I came here because I think a friend of mine has these 😢 unfortunately. But I don't want to end up with these things in my home. Ummmm HELL NAH ! I've never been around these nasty things therefore I don't know wtf they look like . That's why I'm here. Cause if she has them I'm not going to be going to her house anymore. Nor will I be taking her anywhere in my truck. I'm not being rude I'm just being safe. I can't and will not go to someones house that has or could have bugs . Especially bedbugs. Even talking about them make my skin crawl yucky af
I’m a kid but I can still see the bug
What does being a kid have to do with being able to see the bugs?
The gym fake grass got me😢 deb bugs 😢😢😢😢😢
Fake grass is the WORST.

Dude wtf. The first one is not bed Bug instar!!!! Its harmless book louse. Book louse is not even hiding from light
its a nymph bed bug that has not had a blood meal yet
@@bugbullyrodentpestcontrol7073 nope. Its not. Its definitely book louse. Yesterday I found the same under my bed, but mostly on the Wall. Its usual synathropic species but you can barely see them. Just Google the difference between first instar of bed Bug and usual book louse
bed bug bite never heal .
Why?
Bed bug bites usually heal on their own within 1 to 2 weeks. However, for those with sensitive skin, it could take up to 3 weeks.
Hurray, 🎉🎉🎉
I gave you your 1k likes😊
I see !
nice
Can sometimes can they live on u .
they won't live on you, they just go on someone to feed, and then go back to where they were hiding. I have seem them in peoples clothes and hair though
