  • This is the PART 2 of my planche progression recording after my previous progression! And of course it's definitely an honest one!
    Check my previous video out if you haven't already!

    My goal is to achieve the advanced tucked planche and I find it challenging to breakthrough. Technique and training plan play a very important role here. I started to incorporate more dynamic exercise to break the plateau with the help of resistance band. Even though the progress is not big leap but it's still satisfying to see the hard work pays off bit by bit!

    Hi brother I just finished to see your both Planche progression videos. Your videos are authentic, keep going the hard work. If I can suggest, you should do more strength workouts instead on being focus on statics holds and leans (I think elastic is a very bad idea for statics, it's a bad indication for your brain).
    I will soon (maybe in 1 week) publish a video about my progression "from zero to straddle planche", maybe it could help you to achieve your goal. I hope you will take a look. Stay strong, believe it, you will do it ! Subscribed !

      Thanks bro! Yes I’m in line with your view. Band can be helpful only with the correct amount of tension. I guess mine is not in the optimum range. Sure! Looking forward for your video! 🔥 Subbed!

    Hi dude, really cool to see you persevering, truly inspiring. I have not started Planche training yet. But my tip if any, would be to use any weights or put things into a back pack, do planche push ups and static planche leans with the additional weight.
    Hopefully we can help each other once I start planche training. 😁👍🏻

    Best Progression Video I saw so far. And I watched a lot. Keep it up bro.
    I still could get a tucked planche after a long time. I focused on dragon flag and I still do planche lean frogstand hold with stretched arms. But I didn't manage to hold a tucked planche. I'm not giving up tho. Maybe you now what's probably missing. My knees are in front of my arms and not behind. Thats very hard

    • @streetworkoutengineer9705
      @streetworkoutengineer9705  4 роки тому

      I seee! Yesss. Health and Safety always comes first! The main strength requirement for planche are shoulder, straight arm and core strength. Try to observe which part of these you are lacking of. However in my opinion, handstand is still a pre requisite for planche as the strength requirement for planche is much greater than handstand. You might want to pike hold and pike push-up for starting.

    Hi bro. You´re probably not going to get much progress out of this style of training. Bands are great for learning the position, but they´re completely useless as long as the shoulder strength remain to be the weakpoint. Which is obviously your case - it can be seen throughout all the video. You should mainly focus on developing your overhead pressing, that means MILITARY PRESS, (wall) HSPU and BEAST PUSH UPS done with leaning forward. That´ll bring your anterior deltoid strength to another level, which is the crucial thing regarding planche. Also combining it with some dynamic planche work, like lean/pseudo push-ups or lowering/lifting can do the work. Stay strong. 💪

    To be honest the adv tuck was a useless progression for me. I used a tucked straddle instead of advanced tuck and tried to kick out my leg from there. My next progression is the full planche.

    • @bikashth8539
      @bikashth8539 4 роки тому

      @UCssXEbSncd6JJtofAML0-Lw i know you can do it at your level of strength now. Try out the straddle tuck planche in your next workout session and overtime lean forward while extending your legs. I know you can do it

      Alright bro! Will try it out 😎 thanks for the advice!

    • @PEDROLEVELUP
      @PEDROLEVELUP 4 роки тому

      I agree, ADV tuck is efficient to get the fullplanche, for the straddle it's better doing straddle adv tuck. Doing lsit to straddle rows also helped me a lot (without hold, just dynamics slow as you can)

    • @bikashth8539
      @bikashth8539 4 роки тому

      @@PEDROLEVELUP building up the hold time in the straddle position and slowly bringing the legs together in the full planche position is more effective cause you have to have a solid straddle before attempting the full planche. Adv tuck to full is too big of a progression

    Just watched both videos in a row, your progress is slow and steady, which is good. Have you tried training for handstands or handstand pushups? I found that alternating push days with planche and handstand allow the balance and strength to progress faster and form the mind-muscle connection better.

    • @streetworkoutengineer9705
      @streetworkoutengineer9705  4 роки тому

      Thanks bro! I didn’t really alternated them together but instead training handstand after planche on the same day. I am thinking that if I have a few days of push (planche & handstand) in a row I might fatigue my muscle. But Perhaps I can try it out since HS intensity is not as high as planche

    After almost a year at gym I decided to try calisthenics. My first goal is to master handstand. Have you got any tips? How ofter can I train? :)

    • @streetworkoutengineer9705
      @streetworkoutengineer9705  4 роки тому +1

      Welcome to calisthenics! You’re on the right track to master handstand first. I highly recommend you to start with wall handstand with chest facing the wall to develop ur shoulder and straight arm strength. Also practice ur hollow body. If you have no idea what is hollow body just search for it ;) You can train very often for handstand as it’s mostly skill work. For starting, I suggest 2-3 days per week with gap in between. Once u get stronger, practicing everyday is not a problem. Also feel free to check out my handstand progression if you are interested. 🤓

    • @merkur5606

      @@streetworkoutengineer9705 Yeah hollow body will be perfect for my core. When it comes to strength its not a problem as I am able to OHP 50kg with good form. The problem is ballance in my case xD And of course FEAR of falling
