You have a beautiful truck, thank you for sharing. Question for you… Is there a feature which allows you to disable the honk when locking the doors twice on the fob? Reason I ask is that I have to use my lock button feature on the fob to auto start my truck. Thank you.
Thanks, man! I am not familiar with any mods to actually disable it when locking the vehicle. I was only able to find data on the double honk disable. I'll keep my eye out and let you know if I do come across anything for that. It would be nice to have that disabled for sure. I wish Ford added the high pitch beep sound instead
@@goodcleanfun3118 thanks for the reply. I actually dug into Forscan more and found it! It’s in the door lock feature, part of the double lock feedback I believe. I’m sorry I forgot the actual mod, but it does exist in Forscan
Worth it just for being able to use the navigation while moving.
Only thing is it disables the 911 option in case of an accident

I scanned through the comments... I have a similar grille and since I drove off the lot I've wanted to stuff some LEDs in the same space you did. So im curious what lights are you using and did you have any issues installing them?
The pod lights I used are no longer available, but as long as you use 3 inch pod lights you should be ok. I'll put a link to similar lights as well as the harness I used. I was able to attach them to the brackets that came with the grille. The space they fit into is pretty tight. I recall needing to use shorter bolts because the ones that came with the lights were too long.

Did you have to install some drivers for the scanner to work and be recognized by the forscan software?
I believe the OBD tool did an automatic download of the driver when I plugged it into my laptop. I didn't need to go looking for it, but I did notice the FORScan forum has great details about where to go and what to get to properly access the software.
Thank you for this video. I have a 2012 escape that I need to hyper flash disabled. The dealer looks at me like a cow looking at a new gate when I go in to ask. So I need the cable and a regular laptop?
Yep, that should do it, but you'll also need a membership to the FORScan forum. I think I paid $10 for a year subscription.
This is nice. Finally some stuff I've been looking for. Wanted to program these things too similar to coding we use for our BMW. One question, can you code the mirrors to fold when locking and then unfold when unlocking? We have that for our BMW and really would love to have it on the F150 too. Great feature to protect your mirrors and let you know your car alarm is armed at a quick glance.
I believe you can make the mirrors do this automatically, but I like the manual process. I feel like it may wear the motors out faster having it done automatically. Do you have an M3?

You CAN enable an autofold for the F150 mirrors. There's another vid on YT for this. It does require ForScan AND to reverse two of the power-mirror wires to fool the BCM into thinking it's a Lincoln, so they auto-fold.
No need to press lock twice, once and hold will work to roll windows up
Can you turn on Trailer Brake controller? I installed one but says have to take it to dealership?
I think this would be outside of these settings.

You forgot the disable auto start. I used fordscan on my 2016 to add navigation, on the sync 3 and above its Locked out, the module is not in the build if not factory installed.

I got it from a seller through Amazon. They were actually terrible to deal with so I wouldn't recommend it. I actually don't think thet are even available from them anymore, which is a good thing.

I just put on 33's moments ago and did the speedo recal in forscan and thought I was done. But I did notice it not shifting like before with the stock 30" wheels. You caught my attention with the Transmission reset comment. Any tips to point me in the right direction?
Congrats on the new tires. If I remember correctly, as soon as I changed my tire circumference in FORSscan, it threw the dreaded orange wrench. I am not sure if this is what's going on with yours, but here's a link to a forum that helped me figure it out. How are you keeping that black finish so sharp looking?
Nothing special, I do wash it religiously though.
Good content! What % is your tint? Front and rear looks clean and didn’t want it too dark on my Raptor.
I think the front is about 50% rear is about 80%
Looks like 20% on the front and 35 over the stock tint on the rear. I have 35 on the front and it’s nowhere near as dark as this
Made 2 extra keys with 4 buttons, turned on auto start , Bambie mode , got my door buttons code , 2014 XL 5.0. My total cost was $132.00
FYI: you CAN retrieve the door code without ForScan. Follow the instructions in the Owner's Manual and using the Sync Display, in the Settings Menu, then Vehicle, then under Set Keypad Entry Code.

I want to replace my single 3 button key with 2 4 button fobs. How did you go about this?
@@devincraig2558 got auto start Ford kit, got keys cut at locksmith, got FORScan software, obd 2 to USB adapter and used the software on laptop to program them in the truck! UA-cam videos on how to do it.

My 2017 when you shut the truck off and then restart it. You have to re enable the heated deeds. Is there a way of changing this with four scan so they come back on To the last setting when you restart the vehicle vehicle
I am not sure. Mine has always kept the last setting before shutting off the truck. My guess is there is a way, but I am not sure what it is.
Can you do this then program with tune?
Yes… I did the auto start/stop, corrected my tire size and changed start up screen… after that I got SCT BDX tuner and put 5* tune on it with no issues…
If you buy direct from SCT you can also buy a warranty if you want
Did all those plus disabled the auto stop, auto start feature and added the auto folding mirrors when the truck locks.
Ah I was wondering if it had that feature, folding the mirrors on lock and unfolding them on unlock.
You can set the Autofold feature ONLY if you have the Powerfold mirrors on your truck. Open up ForScan and scroll into the mirror module (some trucks may have it in the Driver/Passenger Door modules). Then, set the mirrors into Lincoln mode. You MAY (not all trucks require this next step) have to pop off the interior mirror access cover, and reverse two wires in the mirror harness. Search YT for the two wires. I can't remember which ones). Now, the mirrors will autofold on engine off and door open. They will auto-unfold on startup and door closed.
In my 2021 if I open the driver's door, it automatically shifts to park. Is that new for 2021?
I am not sure, but it wouldn't surprise me if it is.

So how did you fix the led headlights? I get a flash or a dropout every so often on my 2018 f150 after installing led lights. It is not a big deal and I can live with it but would be nice to fix.
Are you talking about the LED's in the grille? If so, it might be the fuse. Mine came with a fuse in the harness, not sure if that is the issue you are having though, but it's my best guess.

Does making the mods affect your warranty?
Not these ones, but I have heard you can with other impactful adjustments.
No. Just make a backup of the Factory Mode and upload it to the module before going to a stealership for warranty work.
Has anyone found a way to make all 4 windows go down and up?
so when lowering your windows if you release the button do they stop? can you leave them in that spot and lock it up?
Yes, you can stop them anywhere you need.
My '17 Explorer (before my '20 F150) had the Global Window option (all 4 windows up or down). Here are the directions:
1. Press and release the Lock button once, then hold the lock button UNTIL they start going down.
2. While they are going down, press and release the Lock button once when the windows are where you want them.
3. To roll up the windows, press and release the Unlock button once.
4. Press and Hold the unlock button a second time until the windows start going up.
As the windows start moving down, tap the same button once to stop them. When rolling up, tap that same button to stop movement.
How did you change the temp above gauges?
In the FORScan software, go to IPC section 720-07-01 and change the 3rd character in the 2nd set of numbers to 5. ua-cam.com/video/qQpZJa_dciY/v-deo.html
I loaded the Bronco screen on my 21 F250 and changed my tires to 35". I also got the Transmission DTC code but it won't clear. How did you do it?

Use any handheld scanner to clear the dtc's.

You can turn it off with the software, but I am not sure about warranty.

As a precaution against the stealership bitching about any mods, I always upload a backup of the original settings prior to going into the stealership for warranty work.

I really want to do my own trailer break control but I need the Forscan and I don’t trust myself with it.
Just make sure you save the setting before you make any changes. I also recommend watching a video on what you are trying to do. All my mods were done by others I previously watched.
Hey is there anyway using forscan to keep the parking lights on? I see you have the vland headlights it seems and im super curious if i could make my drl's stay orange insteald of white while driving
Yes, I did it on my 20. No headlight on, just parking lights on for drl

Under "Global Windows". Switch from 'Disabled' to 'Enabled'.
Also, if a passenger is in RF seat, the nav is not locked from typing. It will ask for confirmation if it's the passenger. No reason to mod that.

It sure will. I have seen some videos of some of them.
Do you have the option to enable dark car mode?
I believe you can, but I won't be doing that with my truck.
@@goodcleanfun3118 ok thanks! Yeah reason im interested is because the only way to dim my cluster lights way down is to put lights in parking mode. But then the parking lights come on. I idle my truck for 10-12 hours for work most nights and get to sleep on the job alot so want everything dark lol. 2019 f250 xlt gasser.

Easy way to do that is dim all your dash lights (and dim the Sync display in the Sync/Vehicle/Display menu). Then, press and hold the Memory button until TWO chimes are heard. This locks the settings you just made and links those settings to the keyfob.
Save your neighbors sleep: just hold the lock button for 3 seconds. The windows roll up without a 2x press.
Now you just need update to Sync 3.4
Well crap.. the window, bambi mode, and seat belt ding alone are worth the $30 for the module LOL, now gotta "borrow" my son's laptop
the window down/up via remote works by default, not forscan mod required
