Very nice setup! A follow up with this customer once they log some miles would be awesome. Things like how does the ride quality compare to stock or a regular lift, has the handling changed for the better or worse, tire wear etc. Not much real world info out there on these kits.
I put 800 miles on it so far, it rides pretty good for a lifted truck! Going up definitely changes the corners and turns, lol,I will update more on one of Bret’s next builds
@wyatt5770 I have not hooked up yet, looks like I will definitely have to adjust the stem up close to the 5 inches, but looks good otherwise, that’s next to a big Tex 25+5
Nice look. But why did GMC go black chrome on the truck and leave the polished wheels. Would look so much better in black chrome. I have a 2020 Gmc Denali and love it.
Did the fox reservoir bracket come extended like that so there is no cutting of the fender liner? Also, did those reservoir clamps come with the kit or does it come with standard hose clamp style? Thanks
Having the bump stops not engaged. Would that cause any issues? Does seem strange to have the bump stop engaged constantly. Feels like you’d get a harsher ride with them slightly engaged all the time
The bump stops just slow the movement down until they are fully compressed . Not being engaged isn’t an issue either. Most leveling kits and some 6” kits are setup that way
That’s interesting that it’s supposed to be barely engaging the bump stop. I guess the longer travel only applies if the kit is set to max height? Seems like zero travel this way, 🤷🏻♂️
Gm has designed the the bump stops to compress pretty easily. Even with the coilover adjusted up higher BDS wants shims installed on the control arms to keep the bump stops close to engaging. From the factory these trucks come with the control arm fully engaging the bump stop. There is still plenty of up travel and a ton of down travel.
You think at 5” - 38s would fit without any issues? 20x10 -18mm offset? I’m about to be getting this kit and the installer is worried he can’t run it at 5” without cutting a ton and I said look at your video
@@rodezell2563 gm designs these to have the lower arm engage the stop at ride height. Most lift manufacturers maintain the same idea. This kit comes with shims that bolt to the lower arm. These are used to keep the arm and bump stop in close relationship as you adjust the coil-over height up.
Yes, most people with 2024 Denali’s aren’t beating on them Offroad. Occasionally we see them on hunting/farming land, with a key focus being on road performance. While they can be Offroad capable, most people are looking for a truck with the best ride quality and clearance for larger tires.
@@NothingButLiftsI got 2021 Denali HD, duramax ,35's , and got more kms on gravel, hunting, fishing ,than it does pavement lol, doesn't get romped by any means ,but it going get used like ...a truck!
Awesome job Bret, it drove great, thanks for everything
if you don't mind, what was all installed on this? I am looking at this exact set up for my '24 2500HD AT4
This is very well done! You all have been pumping out great content lately. Keep up the great work!

@@joshuablakemore3501are you still able to pull gooseneck with this setup or are you just pulling bumper pull

It looks amazing!!! 🔥🔥🔥
such a clean build !
If memory serves me correctly. The tires in the rear should be tapered inwards to reduce waddle
@@1CE1CE I’m not sure what you’re referring to, but there is no rear alignment adjustment .

Coil over? I bet it rides like a Cadillac!😎
Just did this to my 24’ great kit. Now trying to see about doing air in the rear.
The apostrophe goes before the '24 (substituting for the 20 in 2024), when its after it means 24 feet, just tho
What a beauty😍😍

What airlift system is that, and do you have a video on the install?
Stupid question I just bought my first 2500 ever looking at 4” coil over lift kit. How does this affect the ride quality?
How much to get all this done ? I’d like a quote

Setting the kit to 5” and running 38s vs the 37 you have
Will Cognito control arms work on this kit?
@@jamesodonnell2953 no, these are built 1” longer and wider to go around the the coilover.
Am I crazy or is the front sitting on the bump stop at ride height in the front?
Yes, that’s how gm designs these trucks
@@NothingButLifts that’s crazy. You would think they would have a few inches of up-travel before it gets into the bump.

@@NothingButLifts , thanks for the reply. That is weird to me. It seems like it would be a rough ride over any kind of bumps.
Now delete it that truck and its perfect
All that money for pavement queens!
