Brad, I have to call out one item because it can relate to trail access in some states and parks. On the Rivian, you showed a trailer with what you called electric bikes. Those look like electric motorcycles, which are not allowed on typical single track off-road bicycle trails. I work with a group in Missouri that deals with trail access. The distinction between bicycle and motorcycle, at this point, is pedal assist. If a bike has pedal assist then it’s an E bike. If it doesn’t have pedals, or it has a motor that doesn’t require pedaling, then it’s a motorcycle. This is an important distinction, because many trails do not allow motorized vehicles. Understanding what you have will help us all maintain access to our trails. Thanks so much for the great content!
Thank you Brad and Jordan!!! This is Tony Carvallo from Steersmarts Also want to thank, Jay Velthoven, Andy Perry, Mike Hotz, Matt Sproull, Chris Doyle and the rest of the Steersmarts team !! This is the best team I’ve ever worked with and Freeze would’ve never been as creative or completed to the level you see it!! Thanks again
I’ve been subscribed to your channel for around 18 months now after watching so many of your travels as we were locked up (Toronto area). I really wanted to get a Jeep Gladiator Rubicon Jan 2022, but just couldn’t afford it with high MSRPs and dealer mark ups (by adding accessories). I did look at a Bronco Sasquatch, but pricing again, plus wait times, plus quality issues kept me away. I ended up ordering a 4Runner TRD Off Road and waited 6 months for it (got it below MSRP). Even though your channel is Jeep focussed, I still really enjoy your channel, both content and quality (video and sound). Nice to see you looking at products that I can use on mine.
Great video. We walked just over 10 miles there Tuesday. So much to see. In our 3 days there we filmed as much as we could but I’m sure we missed a bunch. We got to meet Marco for the 1st time. What a great down to earth guy. Super cool you and your son got to do the nascar experience!!!
As a Vegas dude, I quit going to SEMA because I would be absolutely exhausted from all the walking and visual overload. So, I appreciate these vids where someone else can do all the work. hahahahahah
This is the one time I wish that the video was 5 hours long just so I could live through your experience and get to see more of those amazing builds it’s so amazing how creative people are and it really shows that there’s no limits to what you can do 😊
@@TrailReconBrad it would definitely be worth it, awesome idea thanks for posting yours and Jordan's adventure at SEMA regards from Townsville Australia
One of the best recap at SEMA 2023 of the assortment of vehicles and accessories. Great job. It would most likely take a minimum of five film crews for one UA-cam channel to film a walk around some of the well built rock crawlers and overloading vehicles. Nice work and thanks for sharing.
WOW, that Jeep wagoneer @ 4:08, but a chevy engine in a Mopar????? That Red forward Control FC-170 and at 20:06 that Cherokee Chief was gorgeous. Thanks
Hi great video in the UK, the Grenadier comes with an option for a winch and roof rack . Also there is a company in the UK starting to build aftermarket parts for these rock sliders for rear set up kitchen and storage
Awesome video , love the content I was out at sema this past weekend ! Tons of fun , the footage showed me some vehicles I missed. Maybe next time I get to see you guys around !!
Thanks for the great coverage Brad. I need to get back out there. I attended when I lived in LV 92-95 where typically you’d see mostly custom cars and a few race vehicles. Not much off road and Overlanding wasn’t even a thing yet.
Sea Sucker makes great stuff. They are a US company and manufacture everything in Florida, so no Chinese crap. They have been around a long time in the marine industry but recently started making stuff for the overland community. Nice to see them get a plug! Glad you guys had a good time.
Wow a lot of cool cars 😍 I need to visit the Sema one day. Love the Toyota Troopers too. Over here they're called Landcruisers and are pretty popular. If I hadn't a jeep this would be my choice. Driving a Nascar must be such a cool experience. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Great video Brad and Jordan! Loved watching all the cool vehicles. That Grenadier is a beast! I bet next year we will see a lot of full builds now that they are becoming available.
Shout out to Nate from Dirt Lifestyle, Ive watched every second of ALL of his builds, dude is a master at building purpose built rigs. My favorite ride today? The FC build with 1 tons.
Thank you for a well covered video! That was awesome; representing the power of craftsmanship, from new and older retro styles! Showcasing the best 4X4 builds, and family time together is the ultimate! 👍
I like the retro builds. Agreed, the Wagoneer and Cherokee Chief builds were good. Toyota's builds all look nice. I like the retro 60/70/80-series design of the new Land Cruiser and LX. The AEV GMC looks like the ultimate farm truck. It'll be interesting to see if the Grenadier takes off when buyers can get a fully-loaded Rubicon or Land Cruiser for less than the base price or a more luxurious used G-Wagen for the same price. Going out in the NASCAR cars on the racetrack must have been a wild experience.
A lot of fishing kayaks now weigh over 200lbs. When you get older, 200lbs is a lot when you try to put it on top of your vehicle. I love the new inventions that make it possible to do that easily.
Blue and orange are complimentary colors. It's a fairly common combination in the graphic design space. Some color/graphic design is a science at this point.
I have been looking at pictures of that Cheroke Chief @20:18. looks like they converted it to wrangler dana axles with 5-lug wheels and ditched the leaf springs. Something i'd love to figure out too.
There was a comment about the Defender's odometer only showing 4 miles which makes total sense considering it doesn't appear to have the brake lines installed yet @10:41!! 😮😅😂
My favorite was the Tonka truck (Gladiator body on a Ram 2500 frame), maybe because it is an idea that I've had in my mind for a while; to have my JK body on a full size truck frame... Nothing that a huge budget couldn't handle!!!🤙
Beautiful stuff, especially that FC. Was hoping you would check out Dixie 4Wheel Drive's rebuilt JL1 that was in the Kanati Tire booth. It was a crumpled wreck a few months ago and was totally rebuilt and reborn for SEMA...and no Bluetooth parts on JL1...all fully functional!
I had no idea Toyota was coming out with a new Land Cruiser… and gawd damn did they ever nail it! Better looking than both the new Defender (barf!) and the new Bronco 👌
Great recap. These aren't easy to do. SEMA was so disappointing this year. As you mentioned, the show was filled with Broncos, which we know aren't the best overland vehicles and no Jeep booth was brutal. It was hard to find a Jeep at this year's show. Also there weren't a lot of Tacomas or 4runners. And the Overland Experience was a big let down. Last year, it was so much better and many more companies participated. Based off of last year's showing, I had high hopes.
Awesome Father / Son trip
Jeep didn't have a SEMA booth??? Wow...that speaks volumes...

Looks like an absolute blast. Especially being able to drive on the track. Glad yall had fun.
It was and the Las Vegas Speedway at night was the icing on the cake!
I gotta say, Brad, your presence in front of the camera has gotten so good over the years. Always fun watching new TrailRecon videos.
Thank you!

This is the most organized Sema video this year! Strong work.
The world definitely needs more off-road ice cream trucks 🍦🍦🍦
I agree!
Would probably sell a lot of ice cream.
Certainly stands out.

I'm speechless, I know I'll be attending next year to this event, God willing. This was absolutely amazing.
thanks for covering all the offroad goodness this year. This was the first Sema show i have missed in 9 years. Ill be back next year!
Awesome, you and Jordan were able to share SEMA and the Nascar experience together! Thanks for putting together this video, very nicely done!
It was a great week! Thank you!
Thanks so much for the tour and for showing us some incredible offroad vehicles!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Cool video. So many Jeep Noobs here.

Jordan - get a decked system for your bed. You can build just as functional and nice kitchen for your truck.

Oh man. Thank you so much for this inpirational imagery!
Wow, that Chief us very sharp and great to see you having Jordan with you to experience it all! Looking fwd to more videos on the pear aswell.
Wow - such a cool experience to be able to take some laps in a NASCAR! 👊🤯
It's was pretty amazing to be out there under the lights going 148 mph!

Jordan did a great job. Would like to see more with Jordan and a Tacoma or full size truck overland build.
Awesome video , love the content I was out at sema this past weekend ! Tons of fun , the footage showed me some vehicles I missed.
Maybe next time I get to see you guys around !!
Brad, love the video, and love the Blue and Orange builds. BTW, Orange and Blue…complimentary colors. It’s definitely why they go together 😁
Great video guys!
I saw 2 of those grenadiers yesterday at a rigs n coffee at iron rigs in Beaverton, OR
+ 1 for Nate...nice job !
Thanks for the great coverage Brad.

Jordan did a great job as well. Like a pro!
Great walk through. Your camera shots and audio are super clear. What do you use?
Canon R5.
22:05 ... the BEST of the BEST ... in my opinion. I would immediately jump on it.
Sea Sucker makes great stuff. They are a US company and manufacture everything in Florida, so no Chinese crap. They have been around a long time in the marine industry but recently started making stuff for the overland community. Nice to see them get a plug!

That blue FJ45 had a R2.8 Cummins swap! Definitely a clean vehicle!
I agree my good man. The FC is sweeeeeeet! I'd love one. Haven't seen one in my neck of the woods in over 30 years.
Lots of cool Toyotas. The GX appreciation is awesome to see!
Man you left the craziest part about that green LC out. Basically a conveyor belt on the bottom 😂
Excellent walk round guys.. One Yr ago I started working for Ineos Automotive. I messaged you then to say look out for Grenadier they're coming......
Great video Brad and Jordan! Loved watching all the cool vehicles. That Grenadier is a beast! I bet next year we will see a lot of full builds now that they are becoming available.
I agree with you on the Land Cruiser, the round headlights are the way to go
@TrailRecon, looks like you were close (Magnaflow) we were over at the @AMSOIL booth. Maybe we'll see you at SEMA 2024!
The bluetooth driveshafts were definitely the most innovative thing i seen at sema this year 😉
Great video I was GLUED the whole time ! Thank you so much what a treat , those builds were sick !!
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed!
Do you have a reservation or order in for the Ineos Grenadier?
I don't, but I'v thought about it.
On road Test drives are available now at the Irvine dealership 😉

lots of nice blue jeeps
I petition to wrap ur Sprinter in RED, will look aweeeeeesome! 🚗🚗

Lucky comment #13. I would love to go to the SEMA show. Probably never will as I am just a “regular normy” and don’t have the connections to get in.
They do open it to the public on Fridays, maybe you can snatch a ticket in the future.

That blue and orange combo you mentioned is also the color combo of the Gulf livery of the 1960's.

The suction cup idea is neat, but I doubt it’d work well as soon as you’re actually outdoors and covered in dust or mud.
Valid point!
love the Land Cruiser , hope u can have a vid for that during your road trips 😊
waiting for the day that the chevy silverado gets some overlanding love
