There's a universe where Star Ocean 2 R is so successful it revives this anime, perhaps starting at its break-off point before Disc 2. Probably doesn't happen, but the chance is greater than 0%, it's the best hope we fans can get.

Yes the game is complete but just so you know it’s one of those games where you can only recruit a certain amount of party members so if you want to see every characters story arcs you’ll have to play the game like 2-4 maybe 5 times so you know good luck.
