- Part 2 of installing the Turbo Technics S280 bolt-on turbo upgrade for the 2014+ Ford Fiesta ST (Link below).
The second part goes over the small block clearance you need to do in order to fit the bigger S280 turbo (10:00 minute mark). Also goes over in detail the routing of coolant lines, oil lines, and boost control solenoid!

Ron will give you $$ for that turbo! Nice tip on coolant reservoir, HEY I have that electric angle grinder, used it when I installed the last turbo that was recalled by the vendor, took me less than 5m with that 15$ grinder, thnx for videos cant wait to hear it!!
pro tip: when you get ur tools from Harbor Freight make sure to always get two for when the first one doesn't work.

in a pinch you could double nut the studs
@AdamBrunson Priming the turbo. Just accel/clutch in start let it prime through a few passes or are you actually manually cranking the engine over, getting fluid out the supply line, then through turbo blah blah like TT states.

Interesting that that my 2015 oil drain line is not all metal but a rubber hose with a heat sleeve on it.

Ported Exhaust manifold a good idea? Or necessary ?
What is the inlet size on the turbo? I have a 2J intake that I’ll eventually install with this turbo assuming it’ll work. Thank you for making these videos. I’ve been eyeing this turbo for a while and I’m looking forward to seeing your results
It will work, though I hate 2J intakes lol.

as far as the bov goes, what if i’m use the cp-e exhale kit? I don’t have the stock diverter valve anymore
i have a 2014 fiesta st and i noticed the coolant resovoir has a housing next to it, not the same set up as yours, im curious on how i would hook up the lines to the turbo.
I challenge you to do this same turbo swap without removing the subframe
Challenge not excepted. Why do something that takes longer when there is a clear easier way being outlined in the video.
its not all that hard to put it in from the top. that's what we did on my buddies FiST

Question, for a turbosmart bov do i connect the vent line to the turbosmart right? If so can i close the bov adapter nipple?

what about a dremmel with a cutting disk?
If you watch the full video, you will see the modification that needs to be done. Anything that can grind aluminum will work. You can't grind with a cutting disk.
If I want to stick to 93 pump gas and maybe aux fuel idk yet, should I go whoosh hybrid or s280
I’m going to use 93 pump gas and will use aux fuel if I get the s280 but won’t if I get the hybrid (not needed, unless u think it would help). Although which do u think is better setup for only running 93

What tools did you tighten the top 2 oil drain line bolts ?

Just finishing up the install and wondering if it matters which hose I run to the coolant reservoir, the upper or lower port on the turbo?

@@AdamBrunson Great! I'll get you a log tomorrow. You've got it limited to 5psi, but it's spooling quick as hell and making great torque for such low boost. I can already tell it's going to be a beast!
Anthony wheelus it’s not limited to 5psi. You have a boost leak or something isn’t hooked up correctly.

@@AdamBrunson I had some lines reversed, but after correcting the issue it still didn't hit more than 15psi today. WGDC didn't go over 42%, so I'm assuming you've got it limited. Love the quick spool as it's literally hitting the same boost numbers as my GT2860RS with new cartridge a full 1K RPM's sooner. Definitely a night and day difference! Very happy so far!
