Hi Maria, brilliant attempt for first try, and probably last lol, I love a poached egg on toast for my breakfast. I guess it also depends on the power of your airfryer.
Hi Maria, not a bad first attempt, it's just all trial and error. I think you just needed to reduce your time down a bit, it did look nice. I usually do my poached eggs in the microwave, sometimes they turn out fine and others times they dont. I like a runny yolk so i'll have to try next time i do a try up, i'll try five minutes. I did try some sort boiled eggs but they turned out hard
Yes I think I'll have to adjust the timing. Another thing I've thought was whether the size of the egg would have a bearing on the timing. My eggs are various Sizes as I get them from my own chickens.
been doing these for a while, i prefer the silicone ramekins, on some air fryers you can easily change centigrade to farenheight or vice versa , on mine cosori can change with 2 buttons, or on the corsori app, use 3 tablespoons of hot water seems the normal ,plus saves guessing, can always do a spoon or 2 more or less, see what results you get. also for anyone interested you can do a boiled egg, just put the egg or eggs in the air fryer, not need to do anything but put them in the air fryer for 7 or 8 mins on air fry ...
@@therichardsonssimpleliving 360 f or im guessing 180 c , my cosori always as a standard is for air fry is 360f so if yours can only do centigrade id say 170 to 180 c
2 poached eggs we do in the microwave 30 seconds for small to 45 seconds for large for soft eggs, boiled eggs we do in the air fruer 7 minutes at 160 for small and 8 minutes for large eggs then straight into cold water, fried errs l do on the stove top with a glass lid on, omelets stove top no lidm all eggs at room emp before cooking
Dean ate the egg, and he said it tasted lovely. He liked the fact that the yolk wasn't runny, so maybe its just down to preference.
Not to bad for first try, thanks for sharing.
Thank you 😊
I think it’s a perfect looking poached egg.
Watching from Nova Scotia Canada 🇨🇦

Thank you.
Yes I think I need to adapt the temperature and times as it does seem to vary from air fryer to air fryer.
Hi Maria I think it depends on airfryer I'd cook it for 6 mins on a 170 setting xxx
Thank you. I'll try that.

That would be fine for me as I prefer a more solid yolk in a poached egg.

Thank you for these great tips. I'm tempted to have a go at boiling an egg now, I've not done them yet. Thank you for watching 😊
@@therichardsonssimpleliving your most welcome, be nice to read how it went after you boil one or more 😊
@@richardhanlon662 what temperature would you 'boil' them on?

just used my app , changed it from farenheight to centigrade and is 180c
Hi there where did you get the utensil that lifts the ramekin out many thanks
My daughter bought it me one Christmas. I'm not sure where it came from, but it could possibly have been Amazon.
@@therichardsonssimpleliving thanks a lot
Perhaps 5 mins. Looks good to eat. ❤
Dean enjoyed it!
Too quick, they'll be runny.

It’s nor over cooked for me and exactly how I like them 👍
Thank you 😊
I would drop the time to 6 minutes at 180 centigrade for poached eggs
I'll give that a go next time I do one. Thank you 😊
It’s ok
Maybe 6minutes,as boiled egg in air fryer is 8minutes for hard boiled!worth a try !❤
Thank you. I'll try that when I do one again.
