    what about when recording in 1080p? is it overheating too?

    Did you set the Overheating threshold to Standard (default) or High? I had to move my Sony a7C to High in order to make it usable. Otherwise, in Spain was shutting down in 5 minutes in sun light.

      @RyanMenseWildlife  3 роки тому +1

      Standard. I don't play that game. If Sony legitimately thought that running it at High was acceptable long term, the Standard setting would not exist. It's not a solution.

      @@RyanMenseWildlife I agree, my Sony a7C overheated the first day where I live (Spain), so I had to set it to Hight. But I am not sure if my camera is on risk. Cheers!

      @@RyanMenseWildlife good that no one else also has an issue about it.
      So I do not think Sony need to change their things for just 1 person on UA-cam.

      There is no risk in setting temp to high it's just that body can get hotter, camera will not get damaged, otherwise they will not allow this option at all.

    Wonders how the overheating compares to the same issue in the ZV-1

    Did you left your people to go vlogging again Moses?! I'm kidding, sorry.. Couldn't resist as a fellow Moses. Good article and review. I wonder if it is any good for someone who wants to focus mostly on photography (I don't mind the viewfinder thaaat much) whilstr travelling and some videos documentary style? The size factor Is just really amazing for APS-C camera, it really makes a big difference if you trying to travel with carry on or 70l backpack, whilst having mavic air 2, pocket 2, gopro 8. Seems like a basic question and I know there is other cameras like A6400, but it seems like it is basically same but smaller.. So if we take the "vlog" part of it, is it a good camera for travel / landscape photography?

    Mine overheated last night. 4K, 73 degrees in the building. Troublesome indeed

    Well that overheating thing certainly makes it pointless in my opinion. Seems like there are a lot of positives for this little thing, but if it can’t handle 4K vlogging, seems a bit off the mark in their marketing… haha

      I have been searching about the overheating and other than this one video I can not find anyone complaining about it.
      Do you know anyone else or few people who are complaining about camera shutting this fast.

    you should add ZVe10 into the title. seems like a good camera, i wanted a stabilized a6400 for video and this has ok stabilization, so i'm considering it.

    • @RyanMenseWildlife
      @RyanMenseWildlife  3 роки тому +2

      This only has electronic stabilization. It crops in the frame to compensate and the quality drop is noticeable. I don't think I'd ever use it outside of this test video.
