THIS !!!!--------This is why I subscribed to your channel ! Beautiful videography and as usual, perfect narration. Am I the only person who does not understand all the attraction to gear talk when you can watch these types of adventure videos?
On a side note, these apex predators were a bit too close for comfort…… here in Quebec we only have black bears; 5x smaller and supposedly less agressive than these giants, but my experience in the wilderness is that they have no trouble ‘standing their ground’ and even crashing in a cabin full of people when hungry ……especially Mama bears. I might have pooped my pants ;)

It appears that doing gear reviews may be a necessary evil to get reach in the photography/videography genre on UA-cam though. I enjoy nature content such as this video more than camera reviews but the reason I was shown your channel by the UA-cam algorithm is because we happen have one of the same camera bodies as each other.

I miss your videos Josh! I hope you haven’t given up photography. I just got back from Alaska. We made a trip to Lake Clark National Park to watch the brown bears dig for clams on the beach! It was magical! I’ve been watching brown bear videos and this came up on my feed again.

Quite and adventure. We went to Glacier National Park in 2015. Brown bears are awesome and a little unsettling, but the moose were really everywhere when we were there in May of 2015. I took over 2,000 photos there and in Seattle. It was quite an adventure for us. Thanks to you and Katie for sharing your adventure with us.

Simply amazing, another great video. Thanks for sharing. They bared all for you. There aren't many bears in Kentucky but I did see a black bear once while bald eagle "hunting" in Eastern Kentucky. I could barely contain my excitement and of course had the lens cap on and by the time I removed it, he/she was gone. But I did have gummy bears in my backpack so not all was lost.
Gummy bears are just as good! 😄

I enjoy your filmmaking style and find it quite unique and inspirational. Keep these videos coming, they're much more enjoyable than talks about cameras (there's plenty of those on UA-cam already).

Wow, you were really close to those bears! I've been to Alaska and flew in a float plane which was really fun, but only saw the bears from the air, not the ground! Brave adventure!!

We flew with Ward Air. they really know the area and Heather, (the owners wife) is a photographer and she really pointed us in the right direction.
