Helldorado Trail, Area BFE, Jeep JK Rubicon

- Area BFE is a rock crawling and 4x4 heaven. These Jeep JK's are some of the best built if not the best built in the world with some of the best drivers and supporters of the off-road community present. The trail being run is upper Helldorado. The first obstacle is known as the gatekeeper, later is the squeeze, followed by the waterfall at the end. Entry to area BFE is free of charge, but donations at the gate are appreciated.

Those "smooth" tread tires like the Falken or the BFG A/T put more rubber to the rock when aired down if you think about it. Nothing beats a sticky though love that Poison Spyder JK.

@gtrjudd1986 Thanks for watching! they did seem to hold a little more mud, but I don't think they were a mud terrain tire.
These Jo's are SOME of the best built vehicles in the world yadayadayada that's why I love clownin on em with a 6000$ yj with SQARE headlights...PLEASE best built yeah right...

@crawlerutah I'm 99.9% sure that tank in question is the fuel cell. I'm only guessing but the clear tube looks like it's used to fill the fuel cell from outside the vehicle.
@gtrjudd1986 The tread was different than the others, not as much of a mud terrain, but over these obstacles the falken Jk crossed everything with no problems..even with less difficulty than most. He was also running 37s, where most of the others were 40s, watching them live I thought they did very well.

@ranterbul I hate it as well, they had already started when I was walking up and I still liked the shots so I took some on the move, it was made with a flip video, there was so much shaking I ran it through the computer to stabilize the image, I guess that just deletes some of the 'frames', making the picture almost seem to skip. Now I use a regular old camcorder with image stabilization, it seems to help. It is unfortunate I have such bad video of this truly awesome event.
How much would I be lookin at to make one of these??? Serious question

I didn't have image stabilization, then made the mistake of clicking 'stabilize' on the youtube channel, they stabilized it by removing frames, went from bad to worse. Now I have a different camera...But I like the paint shaker idea:)

Look up off road evolution double throwdown suspension, Dynatrac Pro rock 60 axles, plus the jeep and it gets out of hand prettty quick. Some in this vid are around 100k

So true, I have seen the old Willys go over and around thinks the big four doors just struggle on. That said the still have solid axles and for that I am grateful
what motor was in the blue tj? i heard a turbo, and what size tires was he on?
Has anyone ever made it up that wall at the end of the video? Looks vertical so even if traction can be had flipping over backwards seems like the end result.

I made no comment about a yj, I don't disagree that they are sweet, but you would be hard pressed to find a group of better/ more capable modified JKs

if they are the best drives were screwd.... lol i know a guy with a jeep half the cost of those and he will out climb ya all day ever day of the week, give him one of those rigs and it will be broke in 5 mins there biult like shit! those are litte boy toys we like real rigs we can roll over for fun! ive watched him out crawl a pro with his little jeep, those guys dont know how to drive like men, besides my blazer will do every thing they just did and i dont have to worry about it, its a tank!!!!
