His mental was probably thrown off after the weird first trick
You get so used to watching Andy Anderson knocking out the unusual tricks, that you forget he has a rock solid bag of "normal" tricks handy also
that's the difference between him and mike v. mike v does handplants because he can't do anything else. andy can skate handrails and has most of the basic necessities.
Although having watched a few Powell vlogs he ain't got a hope of landing a medium difficulty switch trick
No disrespect, love the dude, but if he goes on D against a solid flatground playa he's toast
@@iseeyourschwarz8973can Andy skate switch? He is destined to lose if he cannot.
@@phonephonerson as far as I've seen he can ride switch in the bowl/ ledges, but switch flip tricks he seems pretty poor at. Doesn't need it for his style of skating so he can do em, but doesn't have it on lock compared to say Zac Doelling
I mean Tory got a whole bag of GROUND STOMPING PARTS Let’s give Andy his flowers
Andy: "Sorry, not Sorry"
The "wet stop" was the coolest trick in the BATB 13 yet, and they didn't count it as a trick... WTF. It's so tough to see how they're trying to put Andy in a box. That's not gonna happen!
Ain't the Andy show, it's Battle at the Berrics. Them's been the rules for a long time
Andy the type of guy to have a decoy death blow trick for his real death blow trick
everyone in that room seems not happy with Andy's win
Yeah this has weird bully vibes.
Andy is underrated, twitter was on fire about how he'd mess with his old school tricks. He did great
The buckethead of skateboarding
I love Andy because he can make other skaters mad with the tricks he knows and then just beat them at their own game.😂
He doesn’t beat them at their own game Andy does different tricks that’s like Andy going up against a prime Rodney Mullen Andy would get blanked if that happened
this didn't age well 😂
hhh
Until you ask him to Nollie something hahahaha
Andy had a worse performance that TPuds in his round 2 game, he’s just all circus trick
T-Puds can’t be missing tres man But good job Andy! I’m glad a precedent was set with some of those tricks going forward
Those saying Andy killed the fun or whatever clearly haven't watched Mike Vallely VS Chris Cole game 9 years ago
Sem dúvidas o melhor game da história do canal
Exactly. They literally disregarded the rules for Mike V and still had a fun game with it. I feel like most of the people hating on Andy are just children, literally. It's really weird to get that mad about this.
Difference is Mike v is a respected stater from the 90s that invented tricks. And still can manage a respected game even with his funny perks where is andy was full try Harding just for the win. He will not make it to finals night as he can’t even do a straight 8. Once he losses the ro sham bo he’s done
@@HaRdCoR95 take a nap. Your brain is over worked
There’s a big difference. Mike V said he’d only compete if he could do his tricks, and went up against a pro who was capable of doing some of them. Who also approved of said tricks going in. The biggest difference is, Mike V never won. So it was never a big deal. I always felt both Mike V’s battles were a bit “scripted”. Kind of like Maltos unsanctioned battle.
Andy Anderson. The best A.A meeting I’ve ever been to!!
Roshambo is only a west coast USA thing the rest of the world call it a game of rock paper Scissors.
I liked that battle a lot more than I thought I would!
A great day for Canada, and therefore, the World.
South park reference? Lol
Andy and jamie has their own signature tricks... would be interesting to see if they meet :)
Believe in yourselves and each other and never give up on your dreams and aspirations and remember to be kind and uplifting to each other and open minded and genuine and respectful and humble.
Andy's front foot impossible is something special😍
There should be a rule that says "if u break any rules u lose your turn" so in that way torey at least could ve had a chance. Andy wouldn t hesitate to do like 5 freestyle tricks ,maybe a primo or something ,that may as well count
you really think they didn't ask Torey?
@@homelessathome andy should play giger tho ,that could be something
Yeah, especially since ANdy only did this so he can be edgy. He deserved to loose his turn.
In b4 Andy causes a new batb rule to be made
Nick Holt is gonna blast Andy Anderson. Andy rule's whole persona is anti rule. He s amazing
"Dude, there was a lot of calculations happening. I'm like, 'what if he does paper?'" haha
Let´s get it Andy. Shake up skateboarding!
YALL ARE MAD 😂😂 Andy went back into the past and pulled out old school tricks. All of y’all need to learn skate history and sit down. Literally all of street skating is freestyle. Ollies, kickflips, impossibles, nollie back 3s and so many other tricks are freestyle tricks that are allowed. Aside from the bean plant every trick was legal including the wet stop. It’s not a manual he’s literally balancing his weight over his truck and reverting. Andy is a breathe of fresh air to these stale regulated games of skate. Be different and not a robot
Cool to see some tricks that I haven’t seen in the comp before. That front foot impossible, I literally can’t tell how it’s done at all!
It's as old as the impossible. It's as easy as the impossible. It's just a front foot wrap. 🙂
Easy my foot
@@oghash4912 🙂 it is. It takes practice tough.
@@h.c4898 well, I skate w a bunch of people and nobody got it down like Andy. Actually pretty sure I've never seen anyone hit a front foot one
@@oghash4912 I've seen a couple on Instagram. It's definitely a niche trick but easy to pull off. You just need to wrap the board around your front foot and twist it like a merlin twist until it makes 360° turn and then it's a matter of committing yourself to land it. Do it until you got it down. It was part of our bag of tricks 30 years ago. 🙂 if we could 30 years ago at age 17 I'm sure you kids can pull it off. Andy (many of my generation) are the living proof.
Andy followed up anything debated with SOLID tricks. The weird stuff didn't even matter. He crushed it
You gotta give it to Andy. He did also get letters on just a tre flip and fakie varial heel
Why do people talk smack on Jamie Griffins unique tricks when Andy Anderson does the same thing? I have nothing against the two. I love what they both do
i think his death blow should count, but you know, that was one damn clean frontfoot impossible
that front foot impossible was sick
poor torey 😭
Facts
how are you going to allow Andy to submit a trick via an official deathblow video highlighting and explaining the trick, and DURING the game decide its illegal?
Andy carved him with a clean game. The only ‘eeeeehhh was that Rollie pollie flip.
Andy is on a total different level. Its almost unfair to him and his tricks because hes so unique. But that front foot impossible was so sick
Andy brings alot of life in skateboarding! Hopefully we see him advance into the finals!
This was so entertaining. Go Andy!
No matter how much I wanted to say this game was unfair, Andy played totally fair and skunked him hard. You know when you are against a freestyler, you're gonna get wrecked. I voted Andy, so my bracket is still 100.
I bet you lost now 🤣
@@Brian-cb3ce hahaha yep, I did get kind of far though.
For not being a referee, that long haired guy seemed to be calling the shots.
