“Oh darn, I’m getting tipsy. I’ll just have to keep eating!” Amazing video! Blenheim is stunning. Please show afternoon tea on all of your excursions! This was great fun, guys!
Winston Churchill's full family name was Spencer-Churchill. He's actually a distant relative of Princes William and Harry through Diana. As it turns out, they're from different branches of the same family tree. I watched a documentary on PBS in the US several years ago in Blenheim Palace and there was a segment where the family tree was shown. Loved the Afternoon tea
I adore Blenheim Palace!! Was one of the best places I visited while in the UK. The gardens are exquisite. They used this as the grounds and exterior of the palace of the tv show The Royals.
Wow! The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained! I agree with the person that asked you to film all of your afternoon teas! It is so rare to see or get an afternoon tea here and they look so delicious and fun! Your banter is so fun to listen to. Love these videos!! 💕
Amazing views of the Palace and can't wait to see what's inside. Afternoon tea looked so good. I knew Joel wasn't having the chicken and mushroom pie. Next time I'm in the UK, Bleheim Palace will be on my list. So good to have a new video on this channel!!!
Wasn't this just a perfect English afternoon with our two favorite Brits? Such an absolutely splendid experience. For just a brief moment I was transported away from my mundane American reality and was embraced by such a civilized and refined dreamlike existence.
So fascinating to me as an American. I love old buildings and history. Can’t imagine living in such a huge palace. Wish you would have shown each pastry and described it !
This is amazing...Churchill is my 10 year old son's hero and he was born on the same day as my mom (obvs not the same year!) so he's a family favourite :)
These are so fun and relaxing! In future vids, it'd be lovely if you could pop a map of the UK in that showed a little pinpoint of where the video took place! (For us visual learners haha)
It's kinda funny, the fiance is watching a WWII documentary on the TV while I'm watching this and right after you mentioned about Churchill being born there I hear his documentary say something about Churchill hehe
You two are wonderful! Love the endless banter and the perfectly complimentary simpatico. Going to London next week and watching all your vids before hand. Cheers!
Blenheim is so beautiful, and the food looked amazing. I love smoked salmon, but caviar literally gags me. I agree with Joel, I would also prefer the lemon pastry to something savory.
Winston Churchill was not only born at Blenheim but grew up there. He proposed to his wife at the Temole of Diana there and often went back there his whole life
Me: What should I watch for my 4th of July holiday? Something patriotic I think What actually happened: Watching Two Brits having tea lol Love this channel!
Went to Blenheim Palace in the early 90's, took some beautiful pictures of the lake where there was a small bridge that reflected onto the water that was as still as glass, also got some shots of the back area with the lovely fountains. Sad to say they didn't have restaurants for tea back then. Looks like you had a lovely time, and what incredible weather.
I LOVE this video. I so wish I was there. What a treat to be able to visit history the way that Brits can in the UK!! Your Afternoon Tea looked delicious.
My friends test me all the time, I always say "WTF is going on w that!" & point out what's wrong & sometimes it's something they didn't intend to leave or didn't know was there!! When I go to the UK, I want to have a day like this. In Washington State s similar thing would be to spend the day on the water and having dinner at Anthony's Seafood Restaurant on the water. Another would be to learn Native culture and legends w a salmon cooked over a fire!
The Temple of Diana is probably where Earl Spencer and his wife got the idea for Princess Diana’s name-they were related to the Churchill’s and were possibly at the property at some point.
Winston Churchills family are closely related to the late Princess Diana. It is believed that he was not meant to have been there, but his parents were visiting when his mother went into early labour. They bottle their own water and make their own ice creams.
What an absolutely fabulous day! Such beauty everywhere. By the way I just heard Joel's interview on the Poof's podcast and liked it a lot. I would have felt ganged up on by 4 interviewers at once but he handled it beautifully.
What a delightfully looking day. That was a swanky lunch for sure. It seemed like quite a lot of different things to have which is nice. Like a fancy personal buffet. I think that would be a fantastic place to stop at for someone on holiday. I know I will never travel to the UK or anyplace else overseas, so seeing something like this is really great for me. Thank you for sharing this beautiful place.

“Meet the stable boy at the lake naked.” Hahaha 🤣 🤣. So glad you’re back up with this channel!
I bet that actually happened back in the day too. 😀😁😄
I honestly thought you said "meet the disabled boy at the lake naked" and couldn't understand why you were laughing.
“Straight to the Cafe”, again, you are my people.
that stable boy comment + Lia's glorious laugh honestly fills my heart with so much joy and happiness
Fun tidbits of history. Beautiful day for touristing.

It’s so beautiful there! I had a good laugh when Lia dropped the lid off the teapot. I love this channel.
This is what I love about England… People legit lived and still live in castles. It’s just mind blowing to me!
Tell Joel that whatever his workout routine is in the gym, that it's working! You look great mate!
I loved this!!! Afternoon tea in a palace garden, it doesn't get any better!
I actually laughed out loud when you both claimed to have been trained in "sundial" from an early age.
Wow! The grounds were so beautiful and well maintained! I agree with the person that asked you to film all of your afternoon teas! It is so rare to see or get an afternoon tea here and they look so delicious and fun! Your banter is so fun to listen to. Love these videos!! 💕

Wasn't this just a perfect English afternoon with our two favorite Brits? Such an absolutely splendid experience. For just a brief moment I was transported away from my mundane American reality and was embraced by such a civilized and refined dreamlike existence.
An afternoon tea with pie and posh cheese on toast is something I could totally get into!
I will have my summer holiday through this channel ❤
So fascinating to me as an American. I love old buildings and history. Can’t imagine living in such a huge palace. Wish you would have shown each pastry and described it !
Love this channel. Wish it had more content.
Love this video. So beautiful. I love all things Churchill. Jealous y’all got to experience all of this. Thanks for sharing.

Joel and Lia I love your videos and the architecture is fantastic and the food looks great you look like you had a fun day.
Incredibly beautiful! Blenheim is also a UNESCO world heritage site.
These are so fun and relaxing! In future vids, it'd be lovely if you could pop a map of the UK in that showed a little pinpoint of where the video took place! (For us visual learners haha)
I've missed your tours of England and am so glad you're back at it. Can't wait to see where you go next.
It's kinda funny, the fiance is watching a WWII documentary on the TV while I'm watching this and right after you mentioned about Churchill being born there I hear his documentary say something about Churchill hehe

I visited there a few years ago---we toured the palace and gardens, but sadly didn't have tea! Lovely place!!!

We have here in the states, Kentucky Castle in Kentucky and in Iowa, there is Salisbury House. Great video!! Kindest Regards, Aiden Alamo.
Welcome back! I haven't seen a video kn this channel in a while!
The Temple of Diana is probably where Earl Spencer and his wife got the idea for Princess Diana’s name-they were related to the Churchill’s and were possibly at the property at some point.
I enjoyed the video! That food looks good. I like to eat the savory and the sweets together. I know… breaking the rules! 😋
Winston Churchills family are closely related to the late Princess Diana. It is believed that he was not meant to have been there, but his parents were visiting when his mother went into early labour. They bottle their own water and make their own ice creams.
Would love if you could do the inside of the buildings as well. Loved what I coul see though
Hooray, you are back to travel vids. =0)

This was so much fun to watch!!
The average price for a meal here in California is 10-17 American dollars. Sometimes even $20.
Love it

Oh enjoy
Hearst Castle is America's only castle. Appropriately gaudy. Mid way between LA and San Francisco.
Was there in early spring. I did not get to see much of the garden, so this was nice.
Love it!!
