leuk dat je nog steeds je quad hebt heb je heeeel lang geleden en keer gesproken gr raptor man ;-)
Bedankt ;). Ik zou hem teveel missen
@@vdwbjorn begrijpelijk ik rij nu me 4de raptor voor de races maar heb nog steeds me eerste yamaha banshee die ik als toer quad gebruik nu hihi;-)
I never use the clutch to shift only for 1st gear and to downshift. When your about to redline on a gear just let go of the gas and up shift. It takes practice and learn to feel your engine it will tell you when to shift
This works on any quad? I got a ltz400
@@sempa312 yes sir
So when going back into first gear do you need to pull the clutch in
Yes otherwise the engine will stall. You still need the clutch for taking of.
So what you do is just let off the gas then shift up after you shifted get back on the gas and when you down shift you use the clutch. And have you had any problems with your quad?
yes that is how i do it. and no never had any problems
Oke bedankt
So only when lunching away u can switch whitout clutch?
you can do it in lower rpm too but you will feel it that its not smooth. i practiced this in various rpm ranges and i now know my perfect rpm range to shift like an automatic :)
Use clutch to take off let off gas fully shift up without using clutch to slow down use clutch and shift down simple thanks 🙏🏼
How about a period or comma?
Use the clutch to take off, let off the gas fully to shift up without the clutch, and to slow down use the clutch and shift down. You're welcome

Monsieur Bacteria you’re*
Monsieur Bacteria lol “and to slow down use the clutch and shift up.”?
First
What Rpm range do you recommend?
i really did not look at my rpm range. i just know my engine. i think it is around 8000 rpm when i shift
hallo zou je eens een video willen maken hoe je moet driften?
Traag rijden of stilstaan , naar rechts sturen en leunen ! en goe gas geven in 1ste of 2de , best op gras of als het nat is uitesten 👍 have fun
When shifting with the clutch do you still have to let off the throttle in between shifting
yes you have to
So let up off the throttle pull in the clutch then shift then give it gas. I’m asking because my worry is that the bike is going to lift up. I’m trying to learn to shift fast like you were in the video
@@herbertmartin4320 if you want to drive normal. 1: let of the throttle and at the same time pull the clutch in. 2: shift up and let the clutch go and throttle again. this is how you do it normally.
Is this German Stephan Hawking?
How do you shift back to first when taking a short turn
Keep going down till it jump bakc
I see you using your clutch
Heb je nog de Dtr?
Nelson Braga nee jammer genoeg niet. Maar ben toch tevreden van mijn raptor hoor.
bro i got a Jamaican neighbor/uncle that does it and his kids
So basically he’s floating gears
You let off the gas every time you squeeze the clutch to shit right?
Yup, And when you shift you let go of the clutch and give it gas again
What is the point of doing it this way
you lose less time when doing a dragrace
@M Everything is possible with a custom shift lever. Sorry to hear about your leg. Is there a shop in your local town with a good welder ?
This is not healthy for you’re gear box
this video is now 2 years old... still going without any problems. the quad is now almost 13 years old. never replaced anything from the engine ;)
If you slam it into gear it’s not but if you do it correctly it will not damage anything
Not true
@@damianmlamb no it is I have had my bike for a year never shift with the clutch and it is fine
