so what does the 3 bar map allow you to do i am currently running stock map on a gt28rs setup at 21psi but was told that if i want more power i will need a 3 bar map, also what fueling mods have you done other than injectors
Ilikeautosdaily With the stock map sensor it can only safely report about 21ish psi to the ecu. With the 3 bar you can go higher psi safely. I run e85 and meth injection for cooler intake temps. I use Motoza’s performance multi tune so I can run 91 octane, 30 percent e85 or full e85.
For fueling I have the dw65v with Bosch 1000cc injectors at 3 bar. I am only like at 60ish duty cycle even at 30psi. I eventually will be going to a gt3076 size, I’m just not sure the exact one I will be buying but it will be a newer gen for sure
1.8t Frankenturbo VW Awesome, I've been searching for a company that offers e85 tuning for 1.8t's. Are the injectors and tune the only required upgrades? Also is the interface and multi tune software comparable to Cobbs access port where I could switch tunes on the fly?
Mike Shook main kit items are larger injectors. I chose to also upgrade my fuel pump. To switch programs you can use a laptop or a android device if you choose the Bluetooth upgrade. I am very happy with the work Motoza tuning has done. All remotely. motozaperformance.com
1.8t Frankenturbo VW Thanks for the info it is greatly appreciated!! My stock ko3s is dying so when I upgrade to a ko3s ported with a ko4 impeller I plan on buying a tune.
Mk4 Chris I’m actually using eurospec forged rods and Wossner forged pistons. My buddy has the f23 and even on low boost he bent his stock rods. He was lucky the rods didn’t break. He only found out because he was putting in ie rods for peace of mind
Mk4 Chris no need for the pistons. I bought a rebuilt motor and the pistons were some China knock offs. They cracked. Factory pistons are said to be good to almost 500hp. I had to buy after market pistons because the block I bought was using over sized pistons

how many hp do you have? and with what stable pressure? I have the same config I run on e85 with 1.4bar I have 310hp 415nm
The car dynoed at 337whp. On my other video it shows the boost while being dynoed.
