Hey thank you so much! I really appreciate your support! It is so cool that you have had that much time with the car! I am sure it's an incredibly special vehicle to you with that much road time.
My baby has been apart for 3 years. I just took on more than I can handle but these videos are giving me some courage to finish the stage 3. AMAZING VIDEOS!!!!
If you do k04s at some point, 550s will work on pump, but if you have access to E, you pretty much are crazy if you don’t do it. K04s/E is ridiculously fun on the street and probably the most well rounded setup for the B5. Powerband is the tach, all of it lol. But you’ll need 750/850+ injectors. I’m running TTE550 with 1000cc EV14s. A bit more than necessary but nice to keep the duty cycle low and injectors under stressed
That's fantastic advice! Yeah I will definitely be running E when I go larger turbo. I am also absolutely planning on some srm side mounts for one of the next mods! Thank you for the support! That sounds like a rad car you have!
Haha, I’ve been around the block, multiple times lmao, it’s a fun car, been in my family since 2003, its a garage queen, and a little bitch, but I adore it. I work with insane cars for a living, get to rip around 7 figure hypercars, but still have never gotten over my love for the B5. I see you IG link, I’ll send some more stuff haha
Great video, I have a 2004 audi allroad with the 2.7 in it. I am considering running an E85 tune on mine, here in Wisconsin E85 is actually a little bit cheaper than normal gas but the less mpg's wouldn't even it out lol. I didn't buy mine for good fuel economy either though. I was wondering if you had to change your fuel lines to run E85 since it is more corrosive than gas?
In 90s the US passed an act that mandated all cars sold in the states after 94 had to come with ethanol resistant fuel systems, so as long as your lines are in good shape you should be just fine. If any lines look worn I would replace them though. That's awesome it's cheaper over there! Thank you for the support!
@@HunterDirection however you do need to change the fuel pump. A stock pump + e is going to fail. As mentioned above, for K04s and E, you’ll need much, much larger injectors.
I have a stage 1 APR tuned B5 S4 with an intake and custom exhaust. Did coilovers, brake pad, rotor, lines, control arms, timing belt and tensioner, ABS control unit, most sensors, plugs oil pan and gaskets replaced. Fresh paint front and rear bumpers, wheels, tires aaaaaaand… misfire. 😂😂😂 haven’t driven it in 3 weeks. They’re so good when they run tho.
Very good insight in this video and of course a very good, fun car. When you received the MTC tunes from Motoza did they also give you an e85 base file along with the stage 1 plus or was that something you received later down the line in the tuning process?
I haven't had any issues with OBDII. I use my PC and the Motoza software and its connects properly. A scanner like Vagcom may struggle to talk to the radio since it's aftermarket though. Thank you for the support!
Great videos man! Stumbled across your videos by accident. Turned out to be pretty perfect since I own a b5, and a wrap shop lol. I have SRMK24's on E85. I love it! However. Running on E isnt the best daily driver option unless you have a ton of True E85 stations in your area. I sometimes had to drive 20 miles to get to the best one, bringing an extra 10 gallons with me for the ride back. Also, Motoza is a great company. Local to me. I would have used them for a tune, but they never answered or got back to me for some reason. Anyway! Keep up the good work!!
Haha that sounds perfect! If you've ever have tips for wrapping that you see I could improve on let me know! I learned a ton from my first attempt and hope to learn more in the future. Glad to hear you are liking the channel and videos! Thank you for the support!
Love all the info. Do you have numbers on what your MPG was before and after the E85 tune? You mentioned that your range was cut in half, does that mean you're getting like 12-13 MPG?
I am glad you are loving the build so far! Unfortunately one of my friends already asked I save the grill for him. I will reach out again and double check if he still wants it or not and get back to you if it's the latter. Thank you again for all the support!
Yes I did. The Motoza kit came with the 550cc injectors they recommended and it worked out quite well. I do believe they would need to be swapped to 850cc to run e85 on K04s. Happy to answer any more questions! Thank you for the support!
Awesome video!! My B5 Audi was hit over a year ago, should be getting it back next week and then I’ll probably wrap it until I can have it painted the original green again. Your wrap looks very similar to the Cactus Green Mica.
It is so rad that your car came in green from the factory! It's one of my favorite colors for a car! You are spot on that the wrap looks pretty close to the cactus green. The only real difference is the wrap has a lot more gold flake. Both are gorgeous though. Thank you for the support!
Given how the wrap is peeling at the turn signal and the lower side skirt on at least one side, how do you expect it to last a winter, when it further shrinks ? Those turn signals are just tacky. Corbeuaus biggest issue is longevity. It simply doesn’t last like many of their competitors. Within a year or so of actual daily use, they look haggard. Leaned that myself 25 years ago. Hence their price point. They would be 100% nicer without their logo. Not exactly a brand I’d want to show off. You should mention how you dealt with the lack of airbag and the resulting warning light. You’ve made a lot of progress, and doing it yourself let’s you learn. Just try to avoid going down the overtly tacky path. You’ll find there’s tons of worthwhile stuff to have on these cars, that fits perfectly, and lasts, and it pays to wait till you can do them, vs a series of cheap interim changes.
Hey thanks for the comment! So far the peeling has been pretty minor thankfully. There are definitely some problem areas though, but I attribute most of that to it being my first attempt on learning the skill. I've got a lot of the wrap intentionally leftover so I can redo the panels that need it due to my technique needing improvement. As far as the airbag goes, that light has been on since I got the car wrecked. The indicators are also definitely not for everyone haha. I may go to a different set depending on how they hold up. I've had quite a good experience with corbeau so far, so I will be sure to keep an eye on the reliability like you suggest. I appreciate you mentioning that early so I can monitor them going forward. Didn't know that before haha. Happy to consider any suggested mods you would like to see by the way. I appreciate the feedback a ton!
Another amazing video. You are inspiring me to get back to work on my B5 S4 that I have owned for 19 years.

You probably forgot how it goes back together and lost 20% of the parts by now.

Also, next mod should be SMICs, MASSIVE upgrade over stock, even with E. Pickup some SRM, sooo worth it

I have k04:s with rs4 ic:s, just gonna install the 980cc and tune it with motoza. Soo excited!
@@obalaan that sounds so fun! I will be going a similar route this upcoming year!
just got my stage 1 tune done from motoza ....... a4 b6 stock 180hp now 210 hp at 18psi and 99 duty cycle xD
What front lip is that. I'm looking for one to put on my s4. I like the look of this one.
It's a lip made by a company called splitter gang. They make some pretty rad parts and are super nice guys.
Great vid, good to see another B5.. i see none around southeast Michigan

E85 here in LA is 1/2 the price of 91oct, love it.
what about a4 1.8 b5? or should i upgrade to 1.8T?
When is there going to be a new video of the Audi tt?
