  • MENTAL HEALTH is REAL and affects the lives of so many including this 2-time World Series Champion.
This topic is so near and dear to my heart and I want YOU to know right now that you are not alone. There are so many people out there who are silently suffering which is why I am so honored to share this interview with you.
In this never-before-seen EXCLUSIVE, we are diving deep into how Audrey Huff has learned to THRIVE despite his struggle with suicide, anxiety, and depression.
From dealing with the murder of his father at only 6 to being 35 years old and having EVERYTHING, this baseball legend found himself UNFULFILLED, UNHAPPY and struggling with and ANXIETY.
Aubrey always had the drive to excel. At 9 years old, he was already envisioning himself becoming a baseball player hitting a home run at the world series. He accomplished that dream and then lost his purpose in life… The world around him began to crumble.
What do you do AFTER you’ve accomplished your goals? How do you get motivated when your purpose disappears or you aren’t sure where to begin?
In this episode, we’re diving deep into how mental health is JUST as real as a physical injury and can have even longer-lasting effects.
For the first time, Aubrey shares his struggle with contemplating suicide, drugs, and alcohol in his attempt to numb the pain of his trauma AND the practical steps he took to HEAL his mind body and spirit.
You’ll learn how Aubrey was able to take control of his identity and his emotions to find Self-LOVE and PEACE within and what you can do to achieve the same.
The truth is, most people struggle with happiness! When you have difficulties, you can “Go dark” or take the time for self-care and work on you.
You don't have to go through it alone.

  • @fillasoul8364

Absolutely wonderful. I'm so happy that mental health is really starting to become more conscious in people's minds.
The biggest thing I need to do for my own health, as redundant as it sounds, is to CONSTANTLY remind myself of things I know to be true, how past trauma has been used for my benefit, how I'm able to help others, how my passion and effort gets me results and those results build up into bigger and better results. I need to remind myself that ANYONE can achieve their dreams, accomplish their goals, and I AM NOT EXEMPT!
I believed for so long that I was somehow exempt, that I wouldn't be able to achieve my dreams but I look at stories from Ed Mylett, Aubrey Huff, my own family, myself. And I see the similarities between their stories and mine! I have to CONSTANTLY REAFFIRM this stuff and it creates a mindset of success, hope, faith, a constant program like what Ed says in this video. And I have to keep it up deliberately, and life will try to knock you down again, but as I keep in this state of success (backed up by BELIEF and my GOALS) it becomes more and more habitual for me, I'm replacing my default mindset with deliberate action and choice.
This allows me to be productive and then I see results that I believed weren't possible for me for a long time. And I realize that I can keep doing it all the way up to my biggest dreams. Thank you both so much for sharing this, literally God's work. #MAXOUT

@@EdMylettShow Persuasion! I feel I can really break down the factors that truly matter, form cohesive views, and not fool myself. I feel I can articulate these well too, but actually getting someone else to see from my perspective is difficult.
I feel I have trouble breaking through to people and explaining things in a way that actually makes them WANT to see from the perspective I offer. And I know that you are great at persuasion and you think it's important, so I would love if you really got in-depth with the mindset and attitude of persuasion.

This Interview hit me at the Right Time. Just came off a Trip and Met some people in Recovery as Myself is, and the One Gentlemen Family History was Suicide. First Day Out of Recovery his Mother Committed Suicide, as did his Father, Sister & Grandfather before him, and now runs a Suicide Hotline. Aubrey Huff basically put it all out there for all of us to hear, about his struggle and how he changed it. This is the Sign of the Times. Being in Recovery for 35 years, I see more Depression than ever. I grew up with My Mother being Schizophrenic, and today I have a soft spot for any one that is or has someone in there life that has Mental Illness. We have a Responsibility that is, when you have a family member, co worker, or friend be aware, you never know when you can be the conduit to help another person. I never comment on anything but watching this compelled me. Ed you have a strong focus in most of your programs that I don't know if all or most see or attach to but I feel like I see you and hear you in a way you are intending better then possibly most or at least some. What I am seeing and hearing is that you and most high achievers achieve and become less happy. Due to the accomplishments they become less happy really yet the majority of people want for material objects for happiness yet they need to be educated in the FACT that they themselves are actually potentially happier then that dream. So everyone trying to come up please understand goals are great but personal happiness is the ultimate goal that doesn't require stuff but does require focus. Long way to say thank you Ed and I hear you because I am going through this myself. Your message is needed for the next generation!

I wasn't depressed, but I was far from living up to my potential. I eventually went to a counselor and for the first time understood there was a program running in my mind since I was 8 that dominated how I thought and acted. As an adult, that program began to wreak havoc in my personal and professional life. Once I understood that, I began working on unwiring that program. As Ed and Aubrey said in the podcast, TALK to someone if your feeling down or depressed. The counselor I met with was worth every penny!

I suffered from the same. My father disappeared never to be found when I was 3yo and my grandfather, the only father figure, died in front of me on Easter Sunday morning when I was 7yo. When you decide to go on a journey to reach your full potential, to become the real you, the best true you, that honors your soul, there can be great fear on this journey, both conscious and sub-conscious, as it feels like you are free-falling away from what is known toward the unknown and you feel very alone. This can be the fear of success. The Solution - find meaning (I suffered to learn) and purpose (to mentor and teach), with meaning and purpose you learn to focus on the future. With a focus on the future, you turn debilitating anxiety into curiosity. With curiosity, you find big energy. If you get over this final hurdle, you will find your Authentic-Self (AS). From this place of gratitude, you are able to find better relationships, advance your career, have better health and achieve financial success.
Thank you my brothers Ed Mylett and Aubrey Huff. Wishing you much success, Rick W Hogan

Mental Health can be healed by talking with others who are dealing with same affects. The best way to help the masses is creating more group gatherings to help the many who suffer and by creating Healthy lifestyles and ways to impact the many who feel trapped within. So many have been lost due to mental health, my grandmother included 19 years ago, many friends of mine. We can help save the many who are suffering and create a memorial to those lost due to mental health. Thank you Ed for the many videos that continue to help others.

I have been struggling with debilitating Anxiety and depression since childhood (now in my 30s). What has helped me the most is #1) my relationship with God and spirituality, but also using mindfulness...recognising triggers, and this is huge : self forgiveness and being kind to yourself. Not beating yourself up if some days are a write off bc of the symptoms....recognising that it will pass and allowing yourself to just be in it, feel it, and ride the wave. I also think finding the RIGHT therapist is important. That part can be hard. Surround yourself with a good support system and CUT THE TOXIC SHIT or PEOPLE OUT. Self care is VITAL

I listened to this in the gym this morning and was blown away! We simply do not know what goes on in other people's lives. On the surface, Aubrey had it all and made his dreams come true. His identity as a baseball player was his life. I can relate after spending 30 years in the Army and as a combat veteran of three tours. Life after the Army has not been easy and I a currently struggling to make it in the business world. Not an easy transition and so much of my identity was being a Soldier--that's over and it's time to move on. I struggle with PTSD and am grateful I have no attachments to medication or alcohol as I move ahead. . Mr. #MAXOUT was right when he said the podcast will help so many people. Count me in and I look forward to subscribing to Aubrey's podcast once available on Stitcher. I will listen and watch again. Two physical beasts sharing very personal thoughts--something unheard of years ago and certainly not while in the Army. Too many of our veterans are losing on the battlefield of the mind. Thanks for having him on the show Mr. #MAXOUT. Good to see you sporting the World Series Ring, too...

I’m not commenting to win anything. I just turned 64. And your videos are a win for me. Thx so much. I’m try to get what I call “the click” back to lose the weight I’ve regained. As a teenager, I was a female athlete. And at 52 lost 47 lbs. now (in retirement) have gained 27 back. It’s all in the brain. I believe your UA-cams will greatly help me “decide” to get it in gear. Love these motivational videos! Thx again!

Omg! This was so powerful! If you are reading this, please please please hear what they are saying. The power of AWARENESS. The reason he noticed the gun that he held to his own head, is because he never morned his dad and never gave forgiveness to the guy who murdered his dad. Our subconscious is real and its serious! Deal with your issues today.
When I was 8 years old I had daddy issues and because of those issues I carried it in and out of every relationship. I dated heavy drinkers and drug users. And I ended up drinking and drugging. We must deal with our childhood issues. Face it, understand it, (really understand it) let go of blame, forgive, and than let go and let God. Another good video! Much love to the maxout community. Xo ❤

I really need a career change but i have no idea which direction to go i was so sure i knew what i wanted to do it really was my identity and when i lost my job i realized that isn't what i want to do the rest of my life. I have gone down two other career paths and i do not like either one. I'm sure I'll find what i'm ment to do but it's very difficult because i know I need a clear goal in mind. And i really don't have a specific goal. I just want to help people who have had the same health issues as me but that is such a broad goal i don't know what to do with it.

@@EdMylettShow Not having the desire to invade his personal space it would have been interesting to hear more on how his anxiety/depression affected his personal relationship, or how it damaged it to the point of divorce. It's clearly a private issue, but he was open to share about that. I think depression and the effects of trauma on the partners or spouses of those severely effected isn't discussed but would really benefit those that have been exposed. I suppose, bottom line, discussing the collateral damage is something not frequently discussed in our society. The beautiful part is he and his ex are closer than ever and have a positive relationship now.
