  • "I am worth it!" "I deserve it!" This is what I'm going to teach you to believe about YOURSELF!
It's the feeling that creeps up on you when you need your confidence the most. That relentless voice that tells you, you're not good enough, smart enough, fast enough, strong enough, beeautiful enough.
Doubt can be so crippling. It can stop you from achieving greatness in your business, in your faith, in your relationships... in EVERYTHING!
I can tell you a million times that YOU ARE ENOUGH but if YOU don' believe it yourself, that temporary boost of confidence will eventually wear off and the doubt will settle back in.
Confidence has to be cultivated from within! But how do you do this???? In this episode, I'm going to teach you the exact skills that will allow you to conquer self-doubt and replace it with self-confidence!
I'm going to release you from the guilt of self-doubt so that you can crush the hold it has on you. It's time to STOP reinforcing your self-doubt and strip away its power.!
Are you ready to break free from self-doubt and shame?
The time is now to build confidence and self-worth!

I promise that I’m going to stop just listening to motivational videos and thinking about working hard and start putting in an extra 30 minutes at night drawing on landscape design software and actually being a beast. I get so pumped up and talk about how I work hard but I’m still only going at 95%

I will keep the promises to myself by starting to scratch and erase the negative thoughts about how I am and what I've accomplished. My possessions, accomplishments, and self image are not who I am as a child of God. I am a confident and strong minded woman with the determination to succeed. THANK YOU ED FOR ALLOWING GOD TO USE YOU TO IMPACT THE LIVES OF OTHERS, especially me.

It was depressing when I had the possessions. Even the airplane. I wasnt happy. I even said. My God. This is it. After all I dreamed. Then possessions went away.
The recession along with bad decisions left me penniless. All I had left was a huge tax lean. I took a job at a gas station from the 1.2 million dollar home blocks away.
I was happy though. Then I got serious about change.
I realized I was the problem. Not money.
On my way back. Full steam. #maxout

1 PROMISE that I AM going to make and KEEP starting TODAY is that I AM going to workout 1 hour every single day! I want to personally thank you Ed Mylett, these amazing series of videos you've been doing in 2019 I ABSOLUTELY LOVE! I have been using a 10 minute timer with my iPhone to micromanage every 10 minutes. This has completely revolutionized my life! I want to share this with everyone so please spread the word! Every single 10 minutes that timer alarm goes off is a reminder to me saying: "David, are you focused on the present moment right now? Are you keeping those promises you've made to yourself to increase your Self-Confidence?" This completely keeps me on track and is reprogramming my mindset. I want to say GOD BLESS YOU Ed Mylett!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR AMAZING TRANSFER OF ENERGY! I AM BLESSED!

I feel it is a duty of becoming an adult and unlearning these things that our experiences or people have taught us in the past.

Beautiful!! After reading my devotional today I decided to check email and am glad I did. I clicked on your email and came to watch your video. I struggle with self confidence and an trying to grow in that area. I never thought about giving myself credit for my intentions or that promises I make to myself that I keep are one way to build on my confidence. I have a goal planner I write in daily. Goals to drink more water, eat greens daily, workout daily. I check them off when I complete them. One promise I have made is no matter how I feel whether I'm motivated or not is to move. I put on my workout clothes daily, no matter what. I've had days I'm not in the mood or have a headache and I still show up (in front of my tv to do my cardio and upper or lower body work). I may not push super hard if I'm not feeling well but I always complete my workouts. Thank you for helping me see that I may miss my mark on getting up to a gallon of water but I always get at least half that and I can grow in confidence that I'll always show up to workout.

I LOVE your definition of self confidence!!! I smash all of my goals when I kept my promises to myself. Thank you for pointing this out to me. Keeping my word and promises to myself makes me feel AMAZING. What is my reputation with myself? Am I reliable, consistent, brave, confident, etc? I will rebuild my reputation with myself over the next few weeks. This will help me to build a healthier self image. I never heard anyone explain it this way. Thanks, Ed!!!

    • @marcernest3165
      @marcernest3165 5 років тому

You know what this is so profound that I want to share it before I forget, when you said your self worth will always be tied to your achievement I became aware of how outcome oriented I am because of my desperate need for significance and recognition and how selfish my intentions really are, whenever I talk to someone I've always been completely outcome oriented just going through the motions so I can book a meeting with them and you made me realize that I'll always be chasing something if I tie my self worth to achievement and I realized this the tension and pressure feeling I've always had in my stomach from stress (I know you know what I'm talking about) slowly faded. And I decided that now I will shift my focus to becoming process oriented and have my happiness stem from taking the right actions which are what I'm really here on earth for which is make people feel better about themselves and keep my own promises to me, and the ironic part I also realized is that when I make this shift ironically enough, all the results and achievement I've chasing will come as a byproduct. Sorry if it's too long lol

Hollywood can tell you who you should be like, the people at your job, teacher at school......but at the end of the day my confidence comes from the very foundation of God's promise about who he says I am, why I was created and the purpose I have in this life that matters. I love your videos Ed and I've subscribed because I want to learn to because a better version of myself and to better serve others to see the bigger picture.

Great video! Everything you said is so on point. Thank you Ed. I can remember when I was younger my mom told me that I couldn't be happy until she was happy. I knew that would never happen..As an adult, I feel for my parents struggles. She felt so boxed in, that she didn't know what else to do but lash at me. We have to remember, they not know what they do. Even if they did at that moment, most don't know how to heal it.
Many blessings Ed and everyone on this platform. 🙏🙏🙏

Awesome video as usual, thank you Ed! MY ONE PROMISE: I'm committed to giving myself 30 minutes every morning with my coffee with NO phone, social media, email etc so I can do my morning journal and create MY OWN inspiration for the day by asking one question that always lights me up: how can I best serve the world with my unique gifts TODAY? I know if I start every day asking that question, what goes on my to-do list will be so much better than if I let other people dictate it with the usual snow-balling distractions.

@@EdMylettShow I started clapping out loud when you said "we're not how we look, we are beautiful souls" and then addressed all of us ladies - THANK YOU for really getting what a human being is on all these levels - physical, mental, emotional, spiritual. We are ALL of these and then some, and...at the end of the day (or the end of a life), what remains is the soul and spirit part of us which will never be extinguished.

Your "table" analogy about how doubt gets a foothold in our life was brilliant. With a more clear definition, of doubt, I'm certain I will be able to break away the legs of the future doubts that come my way.

Ed, your messages are awesome. You speak from a very genuine place and your authenticity is clear. That is well received and much appreciated in this business of helping others be their best self. I wish you weren’t doing anything with Grant Cardone. No judgement on you. My personal opinion is that your more aligned with Tony Robbins. Keep up the great content.

After you're done watching this amazing video :
    .
    .
How to build UNLIMITED self confidence
-The solution to self doubt is to
    _"build something BIGGER than doubt"_
    - You can't win when you doubt.
    - more confidence = less self doubt.
    - negative thoughts were planted into you by the external sources (example - Your parents : don't do this or that etc.)
    *GUARD YOUR BELIEFS*
    - You were not born doubtful. you were born _perfect_ , _happy_ .
    - There were no negative self thoughts , doubts they were *somebody's else thoughts*.
    x-----------------------------------------x
    *HOW TO BUILD SELF CONFIDENCE*
    1. Self Confidence is building a reputation with yourself.
    - Keep promises you make to yourself.
    - Self Confidence is an internal game NOT external. ( You don't need an external source to build self confidence ).
    - ASK YOURSELF : _"what is one promise I can make and keep?"_ .
    - *SCRATCH the NEGATIVE THOUGHTS!.*
    - Acknowledge negative thoughts are NOT YOURS.
    - Build self confidence and scratch self doubt.
    *_FLAWED THOUGHTS_*
#1. I am my possession. *NO YOU ARE NOT!*
#2. I am my accomplishments. *NO YOU ARE NOT!*
#3. I am what other people say I am. *NO YOU ARE NOT!*
---> don't live for likes and comments on your social media.
#4. I am what I look like. *NO YOU ARE NOT!*
---> you are your soul , spirit , intention , perfectness.
---> you are not defined by what you look like , you are defined by the content of your characteristics.
    __________________________
    2. Give yourself credit for the promises.
    - Two B's : Brain & Body
*Brain* : Generate thoughts like -> _I am good person, I'm kind, gentle, generous, strong, faithful._
*Body* : Move your body , movement creates self confidence , exercise.
    ___________________________
    3. Give yourself credit for your good intentions.
    - Ask yourself : _"Are my intentions good?"_.
    ___________________________
    4. You have to believe that you DESERVE TO WIN.
    - Believe you deserve to win , believe you are worth winning
    __________________________
    5. OUTWORK everyone and convince yourself to win!

My son and I have a very tough relationship with extremely poor communication.
I’m not sure how this came to be but I am determined that it will change. Last night I told him I wanted him to be ready to go in the morning 15 minutes prior to his usual time so that we could go over the leadership qualities.
We accomplished this, this morning and he actually came to my room about 22 minutes early. We then talked about what we are grateful for, what we wanted to leave behind, and how we will accomplish that.
Then we still had time to listen to 10 minutes of this video. I have already listen to it and was encouraged by your stating that even parenting requires confidence, I intend to build on this confidence!
He left the house with both of us in good spirits, better than the vast majority of mornings from the past. Welcome to new beginnings.

I'm an older mother of three and, my parents divorced 4 years ago, and now I've been suffering from major anxiety and panic attacks, the real ones... scary ones, where I fly out of my bed at night feeling like I hadn't been breathing and close to death, not the kind that are just joked about. I think you hit my problem spot on. I will work on it, and pray for me that they will go away. Blessings to you, THANK YOU!

Thank you Ed! Humans helping humans. We ARE made in the image and likeness of God. To me this means we were made to to BE like God and have EVERY POWER that God has. And I believe that FAITH, as in experiencing TODAY what your future vision is in your minds eye (even though there is no evidence in your life right now to support it), activates that very thought of your future vision. AND TURNS IT INTO REALITY FOR YOU!

Hello. I just came across your channel few days ago and i'm so glad!!!!! I'm a 60 YO grandmother of 6. Recently widowed after caring for my husband. But I also took care of his dying father and grandmother all while working full time at a job 60 miles away . They all passed within 2 1/2 years of each other. My life has turned around and I've been blessed with new home, and financial security (not to mention wonderful children) . However I want to pursue a long time dream of competing in reining horse competition. I constantly struggle with wondering if I deserve what I have now and if I'm too old to be competitive (or just that active). I"m physically pretty fit. But stupid doubt always creeps in. I need to remind myself it's the devils work.
Anyway, just wanted you to know how very much I appreciate your videos and how enlightening they are for me.
I CAN DO THIS AND AM DESERVING!
    Thank you from Texas

I was meant to come across this video today. I have heard many audios, speeches, videos online and live from all different successful mentors, including other from Ed Mylett and this one changed something inside of me on a different way. The concept seems so simple but it’s something that most don’t do- including myself. Wow this makes so much sense why I am stuck in the same place. Lightbulb moment!! All the work I thought I was doing I myself and on my mindset come backs to the little things .. like saying I am going to stick to my time blocking schedule and everyday I go over, or gym at 5 am or no gym that day- those promises to myself I have been breaking .. I didn’t realize how much it was affecting me, my confidence, the way I view myself .. I made false assumptions towards other things . Wow. Thank you so much Ed!!!
