Yeah. At their price-point they are probably unbeatable. It's almost as if Rolex know that their prices are totally over-the-top, so they ease their conscience by allowing the sister-brand to make something 80-90% as good for 35-40% of the price!
I've heard similar numbers. I got mine last November and it was mid 2000's then. I spoke to my AD last week and they believe production has been finished on them now - whether or not that's true is yet to be seen!
Steel Stunners agreed, the only Tudor I’d be interested in now is a Pelagos. Great watch. I have previously had a blue in house movement Blackbay and a GMT, both nice watches but not good enough to keep. If Tudor would squeeze their GMT into a Blackbay 58 case size, that would be a Tudor I couldn’t resist....
Yes agreed in that it has snowflake dial and hands and pcg too - it's a shame its bit too large and the 45 degree chamfer in dial edge - the sleeper of the Pelagos range is also the cheapest and rarest at mo - the 2 line and slimmer ETA engined (not in house) early model that can be got for £2000 if you look hard on C24🤗
Nice video, I have a GMT and pelagos, would you consider the pelagos? It’s probably one of the best dive watches around, and you’ll love the fully lumed bezel which is amazing in the dark. Highly recommend it. Good to see you got your OP rhodium as well.
Love my pelagos.. had a chance to swap my IWC for a gmt a few days ago. Turned it down since I read about the date issue. Now I’m regretting 😢 Will shoot for the gmt for my next watch.
Much like yourself i managed to grab myself a Bamford G-Shock. Rarer than a group of 6 in public and forms a welcome addition to my collection. CASIO are under rated and many people don't know that they do limited editions, and there's nothing like them.
Love the colour of the Harrods and I conversely have a real want for the Bronze black bay with the new grey face. Nice selection Damian the 58 Navy looks good on the video.
Great video, love the content. Good work. Watches are a passion, well an addiction for me. But love to see others that look at watches the same way as i do.
hello, love the watch so i am planning to get myself one. just want to ask one thing before making the purchase, i saw the watch onsite and seems like the tip of the minute needle is a bit tilted downwards, is it because of the dome glass type or is it suppose to be tilted? Thanks! oh btw i am talking about the 43mm bronze model!
Another informative video on modern Tudor watches. Love the Monte Carlo..orange and blue..a real man's watch. The bronze watches are simply awesome with the changing patina. As is the Harrods model. Did you get a bear with it in the packaging? 🐻
Black Bay 58 Blue is another stunning watch, Only 2 month's on the waiting list and I got the call, I cannot do it justice in explaining how it feels on, all I will say is once you have it on you will get it why this is a special watch.
Great video, I own rolexes, but have now leaned towards Tudor , I have a black bay panda 🐼 on order , a black bay 925 , and a harrods edition , I’ve jumped in with both feet , just now have to wait 🤷🏼
Cool collection. I have the GMT and BB58 Navy. The navy is also my favorite of the 2. Also tempted to get the green one but don't want to pay premium since there's no official releases in US.
@ekim andersom I'd love to know how many ETA smiley face ones though - very small production runs and I'd bet many more Harrods than black bay black ETA
OMG you replied. I did not expect that. You can google both of them to see how they look. The Tudor RASP is a 75 piece limited edition. It was made for the Royal and Special Protection Unit in the Metropolitan police department. Their task is to protect Royal family, high profile politicians and visiting heads of state. This special edition is a highly sought after piece. The guy I purchased mine from is currently looking after a former PM. The Tudor GMT Ronchi is a limited 90 pieces. It was commissioned to mark 90th anniversary of the first Rolex dealership in Italy. I would be willing to sell them if anyone out there is interested.
Great video Damian. My favourite of the bunch is the Bronze Bucherer edition. I tried the New BB Bronze with the slate dial on for size recently at a local AD. I have to say I’m very tempted. The only negative is with the 2 strap options I can’t see it ever getting wet. Steel bracelets are so much easier if you plan to Swim/dive with the watch.
I can tell you are a genuine Tudor enthusiast. People mite think you are crazy for buying all of these. Whilst I'd probably like to have all but may be restricted, I think you have made a wise choice. yes, it is not all of the latest Rolex steel sports but I am very sure that leading up to the future, you would be even more happier, way more happier. I am sure the market for these will go up substantially later on with a bit of exposure, rekon up to the $5000 mark or even more. Maybe not as much as absurd Rolex prices but history has always shown that first iterations always have the most charm. These are the first iterations of Tudor's return. Very nice
Good stuff as ever - 79090 plexi (which is a 1680 Matt dial tritium with an ETA mvt in essence) and 9421/ 94200/94300 3 register exotic dial Chronos (7750 mvt) and 79160/70/80 plexi 'big blocks'might change your mind on 80 and 90 Tudors btw 🙄
I wouldn't consider it an investment watch. It is a lovely watch, but it's only got a premium right now because it's new and highly sought-after. That will change as supply meets demand.
Im now watching at my dream watch the tudor black bay 58, its been my wish list in the past years, im still at college and still saving money for this one, its a very very expensive watch for me since is still dont have income by my own, well i hope i will achieve this one soon 5 or 10 years from now hahah good vid sire ♥️♥️
Tudor are great value for money and I have the red bezelled Black Bay. I wear it on sunny days, it really pops. It is a bit chunky and so I am considering the 58 blue. I am also considering one of the new brightly coloured Rolex Perpetuals, I own a 39mm blue faced one at the moment. Would you consider one, or are they too flamboyant for you?
Very cool collection! I paired a blue bronze to an Explorer. The pairing collection is an appealing idea. I think that a Tudor gmt with a Rolex gmt is a bit banal, so I’m pondering about my next step. Maybe, in a fashion similar to yours, I’ll try pairing a 58 with a new sub (no date)...
I thought re Pelagos too, I recently withdrew from the waiting list for the BB58 Blue from my AD. I already have the original BB58 and a Blue Tudor BB. Plus my numbers came up for the 2020 dateless sub :) - I'd still be tempted with the Pelagos ETA version. A red BB58 please
Another enjoyable video, just wondered what the Bamford Casio is all about? It looks like a standard Casio apart from the turquoise inner strap?? Please forgive my ignorance.
Great video!! I can‘t decide between a BB58 in black or in navy as my first Tudor... I already have a black and a blue dial watch in my collection tho.. :/
I like your Harrods Edition Black Bay 58 the best and the Snowflake hour hand. I also like the multi-coloured Chronographs, like the 1973 7169 introduced Chronograph Tudor Oysterdate 'Montecarlo' you mentioned which is in the 2017 Tudor Collection catalogue I have. I like the modern 42mm case version, apparently introduced in 2010: Chronograph Tudor Heritage Chrono Blue Ref: 70330B which comes on a steel bracelet with folding clasp and safety catch and also in the box: a fabric NATO strap with buckle. The similar watch with larger Tudor logo lumed hour marker and larger lumed hour and minute hands: Ref 70330N with two dial colours: grey or black is my favourite and it has a bidirectional rotatable 12 hour graduated steel bezel with an anodised Aluminium bezel insert, in respectively blue or black: 70330B/ 70330N. 150m waterproof depth rating; sapphire crystal and 3 screw down crown and chrono pushers. It has a 45 min Chrono totaliser at 9; running seconds at 3 and a date at 6. Apart from this, my favourite Tudor is the innovative all Titanium 42mm case and bracelet Pelagos with the 5 lines of dial text: denoting the 2015 introduced manufacture calibre MT5612 (COSC); as against the black dial only 2012 2 lines dial text denoting the previous ETA movement; 70Hr power reserve; 500m water resistance; sapphire crystal; Helium escape valve at 9. It has a fully lumed ceramic bezel, like a Blancpain Fifty Fathoms. It has an innovative spring loaded steel clasp; includes rubber strap in the box and in comes in a blue dial Ref: 25600TB or a black dial Ref: 25600TN: As described at Baselworld 2015 by Ariel Adams of ABTW ua-cam.com/video/8F0dxbh69Qs/v-deo.html and a year later, on a diving trip with the watch to Mexico: Hodinkee's James Stacey of The Grey NATO poscast, when he was at ABTW: instagram.com/jestacey?igshid=1chm5ykk40wi1 podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-grey-nato/id1080535798 ua-cam.com/video/3W06w6hhzxo/v-deo.html I also like the 40mm case Explorer look-a-like Tudor North Flag Ref: 91210N: screw down crown and 100m depth rating; Power reserve indicator at 9: cyclops-less date at 3; Manufacture calibre MT5621 (COSC); 70 Hr power reserve and a steel ceramic bezel in homage of Tudor Oyster Prince watches worn by members of the 1950s British North Greenland Expedition. The above 3 models together with the: 41mm Tudor Classic Date (and Date + Day); 38mm/ 28mm womens' Tudor Classic Date; Tudor Clair De Rose 34mm/ 30mm/ 26mm; Tudor Style Double Bezel 41mm/ 38mm/ 34mm/ 28mm; Tudor Style Fluted Bezel: 41mm/ 38mm/ 34mm/ 28mm; Tudor Heritage Advisor 42mm Titanium and steel case 1957 Alarm watch. All the above have flush, Rolex-like crowns and the Tudor Heritage Black Bay and later Black Bay 1958 have an ugly; cheap looking collar/ collet on the winding crown which I don't like. I don't like the new 1 September 2020 releases Chronergy 3235 movement remodelled elongated lug Submariners and like your more compact Supercase Smurf 116619LB. I think the latest precious metal Submariners 126619LB; 126618LB/LN have ceramic tubes in the bracelets around the pins for long life with the heavy precious metal and for fluidity of bracelet movement.
Totally agree with you re the Harrods Tudor Watch, it is a stunning watch even er indoors loves it, I think that there maybe around 3000 in circulation so far.
Bamford Casio 😂 Jesus im sure they could stamp the name on a polished turd and it would create a buying frenzy. Beautiful collection of Tudors, Pelagos is the daddy I’m surprised it doesn’t appeal to you, a really awesome daily. Check out the Sappers edition 59 corps. As always great vid
I think I’ve owned 3 bbs and in many ways love them . The height and slab sided case in the end is too much for me . However my Pelagos os one of my absolute favourite watches it’s one of the best dive watches out there..
ekim andersom Nah. Submariners are consistent in the design(dive watch), size and are offered in different materials such as Steel, Two tone and precious metals. Tudor black Bay line applies to all dive watch, GMT watch, Chronographs of different design, materials and sizes. There is no clear directions when this line is heading in my opinion.
I prefer my north flag to the black bays, it’s a bit different and seems to share the case of Rolex’s only quartz watch .. oysterquartz. Might add a Pelagos as first titanium watch in collection.
Just bought the Tudor Harrods (number 39XX) ... so i guess they produced much more than 2000 pieces. I heard they will make 5000 pieces ... but who knows.
Cool specific collection! Congrats! However saying that you can get Rolex cheaper by buying a Tudor is a bit misleading. You'll get a great watch buying a Tudor, but it is not a Rolex: finishing, movement... I could made a better case saying: you'll get Tudor by lower price by buying Tissot, it has a same ETA movement ;) Don't get me wrong, these Tudors are excellent watches in their price range, and I need to buy one :)
Thinking about buying a Pelagos and a Oyster Perpetual at the same time , already own Two Tone Subby , then who knows might be able to purchase a New Submariner only if they let me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Paul Australia
In the Tudor owners groups every day you have someone else posting that the GMT got the date wheel issue. This is keeping me off from buying it. Hopefully Tudor will release a GMT BB58 which will be amazing.. and also waiting for a red BB58 :)
I agree with Steel - my friend the tudor pelagos - the blue color , the bracelet, the LUM - it is handsome , and a true 'tool' watch. if you are gonna add another - pelagos would be a fabulous piece. ~ JDS/CT
S#^t I almost hit the roof seeing your face Damien. I've been into watches for 6mths now and just stumbled on your watch channel. You need to promote this more on the Car Guys.!! Look forward to watching your uploads from now.
As far as Tudor goes I've only got a Pelagos LHD and P01. The latter is strangely compelling for me. I was very fifty-fifty about buying - and it does take one a while to become accustomed to the sheer 'brutalism' of the design! But it has now become one of my collection-favourites. I believe the dial is a modern Tudor classic, in fact. But of course, taste is a personal thing at the end of the day. I had the chance to get a Harrods BB, but I just wasn't interested. For me it feels like a kind of pastiche Kermit - sorry! ;-)
I love Tudors, but should I really spend 2700 pounds (plus) on a diver? The Monte Carlo sure, a heritage chronograph nice, but after a while it needs precious metals, iconic dress and or complications.
It's a great collection...what are you talking about? I would take and wear any one of those, including the G-Shock. No reason to get on any waiting list for any watch, ever. You can buy a gilt BB58 all day, every day.
Love my 58 Navy Blue. Tudor fan for life now.
I think you are missing to the collection the Tudor North Flag, the first in house movement, with a display case, soo underrated watch
I have 3 of those. Nothing beats Tudor for the price. It’s an entry level proper watch.
Yeah. At their price-point they are probably unbeatable. It's almost as if Rolex know that their prices are totally over-the-top, so they ease their conscience by allowing the sister-brand to make something 80-90% as good for 35-40% of the price!
Definitely not kidding. I would call Tissot a waste of money. A teenager’s watch. It’s not a brand for a man with good taste or status.
ekim andersom, that’s not what your mom said.
I've been on the list for a 58 Navy and finally get to pick this up this week! 🙌
Congratulations - it’s a great piece
That's a beautiful Tudor Black Bay collection.
My personal favourite of them is the original Black Bay 58.
I believe the harrods is now on around 4500. Stunning watch in the flesh, really has presence and glad to see it here!
I've heard similar numbers. I got mine last November and it was mid 2000's then. I spoke to my AD last week and they believe production has been finished on them now - whether or not that's true is yet to be seen!
There was some on the Rolex forum stated it will be capped at 5000. But then again they said that for 500!
A friend just picked up (2 weeks ago) a number just under 5,500. Banger of a watch though.
They have really ramped up production, picked mine up in July and it was #36++, and within a couple of months it's at #5k by the sounds it
Tudor rocks! Love my GMT and 5B :)
Why no Pelagos? Probably the best and most authentic modern Tudor.

Paulthorpe Despite its flaws I still love it. Did not know they were going so cheap on C24
Pelagos looks like a solid modern tool boy's watch. A boy's watch, nevertheless.
No BB with the red bezel? Best of the bunch in my view (only because I have one). Nice collection!! Keep 'em coming!
Recently purchased a BB58 Navy. Great watch, but it's soo good I find myself also wanting the original 58 black dial as well.
Great collection, The BB58 Navy is true class!
Nice video, I have a GMT and pelagos, would you consider the pelagos? It’s probably one of the best dive watches around, and you’ll love the fully lumed bezel which is amazing in the dark. Highly recommend it. Good to see you got your OP rhodium as well.

Turned it down since I read about the date issue.
Now I’m regretting 😢
Will shoot for the gmt for my next watch.
Great Collection and presentation of your Tudor watches. Really enjoyed.
Great collection and Love the Harrods and bb 58’s but no pelagos? I gotta get a north flag and a bb58 👌🏻👍🏻🏴
Hi damian I really love all your tudor black bay 58s in your collection they look absolutely awesome mate 👍👍👍👍
Much like yourself i managed to grab myself a Bamford G-Shock. Rarer than a group of 6 in public and forms a welcome addition to my collection. CASIO are under rated and many people don't know that they do limited editions, and there's nothing like them.
Agreed.
Really enjoyed the video Damien, very nice collection in a collection... 👍
Think I like the GMT best, but they're all pretty sweet!!
Love the colour of the Harrods and I conversely have a real want for the Bronze black bay with the new grey face. Nice selection Damian the 58 Navy looks good on the video.
Love your collection! Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Great video, love the content. Good work. Watches are a passion, well an addiction for me. But love to see others that look at watches the same way as i do.
Another enjoyable and informative review. Like you I have the navy BB58, a cracking watch!
Cheers, J 👍
hello, love the watch so i am planning to get myself one. just want to ask one thing before making the purchase, i saw the watch onsite and seems like the tip of the minute needle is a bit tilted downwards, is it because of the dome glass type or is it suppose to be tilted? Thanks! oh btw i am talking about the 43mm bronze model!
Like that G Shock. Out of the Tudors, I think the brown one as it looks quite unique with that colour.
This is a very nice Tudor collection. Maybe we will see a BB58 Bronze added to your collection soon? Cheers!
I’m actually not that fussed on it, as I have that early bronze instead
Thank you so much for your support of the channel, guys - it really means a lot. Glad you're enjoying this latest episode.
What do you think of the Tudor pelagos? Would you buy one or avoid because it’s titanium?
They need to make a 39mm version of the Harrods Edition
Another informative video on modern Tudor watches. Love the Monte Carlo..orange and blue..a real man's watch. The bronze watches are simply awesome with the changing patina. As is the Harrods model. Did you get a bear with it in the packaging? 🐻

I have the GMT - love it. It’s my rugged sports / travel watch, can wear it anywhere.

@@marinorossi4594 no issues :-)
Black Bay 58 Blue is another stunning watch, Only 2 month's on the waiting list and I got the call, I cannot do it justice in explaining how it feels on, all I will say is once you have it on

Great video. I’ve got the GMT, Harrods and Bucherer edition. Truly love them and should be getting the call any day now for the 58 blue!
Thank you for the video. IMHO a 2021 BB 58 18K and a Tudor BB Chrono will sit aptly in your wonderful Tudor collection.
You may be right
Great video, I own rolexes, but have now leaned towards Tudor , I have a black bay panda 🐼 on order , a black bay 925 , and a harrods edition , I’ve jumped in with both feet , just now have to wait 🤷🏼

I own the Monte Carlo grey face with bracelet Lovely watch it’s my daily. My next Tudor will be the GMT Pepsi with the leather strap.
Cool collection. I have the GMT and BB58 Navy. The navy is also my favorite of the 2. Also tempted to get the green one but don't want to pay premium since there's no official releases in US.
A few days ago I bought a Tudor Harrods. I have number 4785, so I guess they made a LOT of them...
Sadly, yes - it’s now a joke!
I’ve had my 58 blue for a week. I’m in love with it.
Good for you
@@TheWatchGuysTV your channel is now my favourite watch channel on UA-cam. Keep up the good work.
Ironically there's probably more Harrods than standard Black Bays Red for example because demand was so high

I currently have 3 rare Tudor models: a limited 75 RASP Tudor, a GMT Ronchi limited 90 and a black bezel eta.
Interesting, I’ve not heard of the first two
OMG you replied. I did not expect that.
You can google both of them to see how they look.

I wouldn't consider it an investment watch. It is a lovely watch, but it's only got a premium right now because it's new and highly sought-after. That will change as supply meets demand.

We need a vid on the G-Shock. It's crazy how fast they sold out.
Not sure how interesting that'll be
Casio Bamford lol, I cant believe you fell for that!
:)
1st beautiful collection and to each their own. To me they all look the same with subtle variation. I do like the bronze though.
The Harrods is a killer. Ain’t it weird the reference is...G for green and not ...V for vert ?
Good point
Mike D that makes sense. A nod to Hans Wilsdorf’s time in London.
do you think tudor will ever release a black bay 58 with a black silver bezel??
Great collection!
Cheers, Marcus
I think the bronce Bucherer will be very colectible.
What about a Pelagos?
They've never done anything for me
No BB 58 Bronze 39 mm, with 3, 6, 9 is stunning
I think I’ve owned 3 bbs and in many ways love them . The height and slab sided case in the end is too much for me . However my Pelagos os one of my absolute favourite watches it’s one of the best dive watches out there..
All different models but yet they are called the same “black bay”, Tudor should totally revamp the line
ekim andersom Nah.
A lot of these watches are available nearly new for £500 less than rrp
39mm case is really too small for me, that's why i can't get behind on the black bay 58s. i prefer 41mm watches.
I prefer my north flag to the black bays, it’s a bit different and seems to share the case of Rolex’s only quartz watch .. oysterquartz. Might add a Pelagos as first titanium watch in collection.
Very n ice !
A friend of mine has been collecting Tudor
flor years. I had no ideaa. 🤷♂️
Just bought the Tudor Harrods (number 39XX) ... so i guess they produced
much more than 2000 pieces. I heard they will make 5000 pieces ... but who knows.
OMG!
Pretty sure I didn’t say that. But don’t let that stop you 👍
Thinking about buying a Pelagos and a Oyster Perpetual at the same time , already own Two Tone Subby , then who knows might be able to purchase a New Submariner only if they let me 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Paul Australia
I continue to wait for ‘my whole Patek collection.’ Sigh.
Wher is the Pelagos??
Never appealed to me
In the Tudor owners groups every day you have someone else posting that the GMT got the date wheel issue. This is keeping me off from buying it. Hopefully Tudor will release a GMT BB58 which will be amazing.. and also waiting for a red BB58 :)
You need a 79090 crown guard Rolex cased Submariner to complete collection.
You even have one with a vintage leather strap. Now where would that look amazing, let me think😀 🚗
Hahaha yes......I know!!
Welcome aboard!
For me it feels like a kind of pastiche Kermit - sorry! ;-)
Just got a LHD amazing watch
I love Tudors, but should I really spend 2700 pounds (plus) on a diver? The Monte Carlo sure, a heritage chronograph nice, but after a while it needs precious metals, iconic dress and or complications.
nice, but I didn't get a Tudor, as I always knew I really wanted a Rolex.....so saved a litrtle longer!
Good call
Nice collection but wouldnt trade any of them for my Pelagos
It's never done anything for me
TheWatchGuys Fair enough, it does seem to be a bit of a Marmite watch.
'twould seem you have all the TUDORS, and all the Two Doors.
It's a great collection...what are you talking about? I would take and wear any one of those, including the G-Shock. No reason to get on any waiting list for any watch, ever. You can buy a gilt BB58 all day, every day.
Surely the collection deserves a north flag?
The north flag were a good choice. It is more unique 👍
