Great recipe! I use cream cheese instead of butter for a rich bourbon ball. I use 1/2 butter and 1/2 cream cheese for a large batch, as cream cheese can get expensive.

@Andrew Lemay I let my nuts soak for a week and it makes them stronger. Also, I toast the pecans for add flavor...So it depends on the length of time you soak not how much bourbon you use..of course you would use enough to cover nuts
