    Great recipe! I use cream cheese instead of butter for a rich bourbon ball. I use 1/2 butter and 1/2 cream cheese for a large batch, as cream cheese can get expensive.

    serious question here... How many does it take to eat to feel a small buzz? I want to make these, but its important that a Buzz happens.

      Depends on how much bourbon you use duh

      ​ @Andrew Lemay I let my nuts soak for a week and it makes them stronger. Also, I toast the pecans for add flavor...So it depends on the length of time you soak not how much bourbon you use..of course you would use enough to cover nuts

    Sooo.... Seems it would be easier to unwrap the stick butter and then let it soften - Just sayin.

    Nothing like ruining a good candy recipe by using fake sugar. And you should have worn gloves.
