Hi Judith. I've also recently started keto, and I so enjoy watching your channel, as you're very precise with all the Net Carb tracking, which is so very helpful. I've yet so much to learn, and find it so inspiring to see how you manage to keep track of it all. I'm going to binge watch more episodes, to keep myself motivated to stay on my keto journey... Btw, I asked AI to create a bread recipe, using all the keto ingredients you mentioned in the video, and I could share it with you, if I had your email address, which i can't seem to find. i also had it adapted to make muffins, and then asked AI to tweak the ingredients, to possibly lower the carb count even more, in a separate muffin version, which ended up at 0.8g per muffin, which I think is really excellent...
Welcome to Keto Linda. We don’t currently have an email but thanks for the recipe offer. I never thought to ask AI to create recipes. I saw a story this morning about AI being used to personalize dyslexia treatments for kids. AI can be an amazing tool.
So do you freeze the Keto Bread till your ready to use it? I'm not a big bread eater so usually most the loafs I buy go bad before I can use a loaf up. Thank you for sharing your brand favorites, I'll see if my co-op carries them.
The bread comes frozen with the slices stuck together. First I thaw it then baggie portion sizes before I refreeze. Hope you can find it. Happy holidays.
Good question. 20 NC is a good starting point. After two weeks you can increase NC to 25g to see if you stay in ketosis. On week four you can increase to 30g NC etc until you find your upper limit. Dale’s goal isn’t deep ketosis. His goal is controlling his blood sugar. That’s why he eats about 45 NC a day. I eat 20-30g a day and stay in deep ketosis. That gives me the greatest relief from my rheumatoid arthritis.
