Amy, I’m sure you said it somewhere, in your meal planning weight loss videos, BUT, how do I figure out how much protein I need in a day? All I kept thinking during your video, was wow, she is consistently feeding more protein into her body! When I eat protein, I put on weight quicker than a polar bear rolling over in the snow!!! How many calories do you burn in order to level out the protein? I see that I eat much of what you are eating, but w/o all the extra supplements, etc. would appreciate any guidance with this. Your video came across my feed today and i haven't watched you in a long time. I have to say you look so healthy and fantastic! Great info on protein intake. Im 65 yrs old and weigh between 120 and 125. I have always worked out and tryed to eat healthy. As women age we need to increase protein to maintain muscle mass. The struggle is real!😊❤ i'll have to go back and watch your journey.

You have made videos on encouragement and weight loss ideas. Can you make one on struggles? What do you still struggle with? Like do you skip workouts and why? Do you struggle to eat out in town healthy? Do you snack late? Do you get constipation? Does protein powder cause weight gain or constipation? Do you feel nervous to eat at times thinking you will gain weight? I struggle with gut issues and i have to limit what and when i eat. I dont eat or drink coffee in the morning until i come back from school drop off or walking. Because it would make me go to the bathroom. I cant eat after 6pm anything dairy or heavy it will upset my stomach. Do you feel you have gut issues since weight loss ?

There are so many influencers that in no terrible fashion in and of themselves only represent having lost a small amount of weight or have never had weight issues and just eat healthy whole food which is totally a okay but what is lacking in representation are influencers who have lost over 100lbs and have kept it off for over a few years. To me that is a valuable resource of knowledge and experience. This is one channel that does that and shows an example of having balance and living life and making time for family and God. 💗 Truly inspiring! Keep shining your light Amy! 🙏
Hi, Just a heads up, if you are a kidney stone former like me (ugh!) you should not exceed 80 grams of protein daily. I also drink half my body weight in water with a tsp of fresh lemon juice in each 8oz serving. I used to get stones every year and since making these changes it's been 12 years since my last stone, Yay!

I’ve failed so many times At losing the weight, I think it’s bc I’m insulin resistant & have some other health things but I’m praying I can finally get the scale to go down!!!! I’ve been stuck at same weight 2 years now, still have 80-90 to shed. Praying I will get there like you have. You look great!!!! You look naturally thin too. Great job!! I’ve never been naturally thin but I would love to be back to 170-180 which is where I was when I got married 25 years ago. I pray I can get my A1C to healthy level too & get off bp meds. I have 6 children, 1st grandbaby on way in June 💞 & we homeschool & I have my 3rd oldest graduating in May & I help my husband run our construction company…. Thanks! Honestly, I think the combination of losing it over 2 years, exercise, a high protein diet, and good genetics play a huge role. I definitely have loose skin, but I would choose that over the weight any day. :)
@ I totally agree I too have lost a significant amount of weight and I have what I like to call elephant skin, but I look at it this way I would rather have loose skin and be at a normal weight then to be obese, morbidly obese with firm skin.Thank you for your response and I can’t help but say again how encouraging and inspiring you look and how you lost it the right way through better choices in eating some exercise in a desire to change one’s behavior.
Thata's kind of a perfect chicken salad sandwich, i love arugula and whole grain toast too! I wish I could drink my collagen....great job getting that protein. Also, I like the idea and the smell of teriyaki but it's usually too syrupy and sweet for me... you may have just shown me how to make it light and delicous! thank you!!

@ thank you for replying. Is that an easier run, or a hard run! I remember from one of your other videos that you used to do a hard run and a strength day on the same day 😭😅 I wasn’t sure if you’re still doing that while training for a marathon. I’m just beginning my running journey again and didn’t want to overdo it, but still need that strength training in there!
I use the regular Starbucks creamer and it’s my favorite of all time! I’ll never give it up 😅 it’s the only creamer that doesn’t have a fake flavor taste

I’ve failed so many times At losing the weight, I think it’s bc I’m insulin resistant & have some other health things but I’m praying I can finally get the scale to go down!!!! I’ve been stuck at same weight 2 years now, still have 80-90 to shed. Praying I will get there like you have. You look great!!!! You look naturally thin too. Great job!! I’ve never been naturally thin but I would love to be back to 170-180 which is where I was when I got married 25 years ago. I pray I can get my A1C to healthy level too & get off bp meds. I have 6 children, 1st grandbaby on way in June 💞 & we homeschool & I have my 3rd oldest graduating in May & I help my husband run our construction company…. I’m the HR Director & we have 13 employees….all this to say…I really want to get healthier & fit!!! I am on the go all the time but I need my body top function & I pray me & my hubby & our 6 children all grow super old and healthy in Jesus name! I would love to grow my you tube channel as a fun outlet to reach women and share hope & encouragement (and to use my life coaching tools). You sweet lady are an encouragement & blessing! Thanks! Honestly, I think the combination of losing it over 2 years, exercise, a high protein diet, and good genetics play a huge role. I definitely have loose skin, but I would choose that over the weight any day. :)
@ I totally agree I too have lost a significant amount of weight and I have what I like to call elephant skin, but I look at it this way I would rather have loose skin and be at a normal weight then to be obese, morbidly obese with firm skin.Thank you for your response and I can’t help but say again how encouraging and inspiring you look and how you lost it the right way through better choices in eating some exercise in a desire to change one’s behavior.

I’m sure you said it somewhere, in your meal planning weight loss videos, BUT, how do I figure out how much protein I need in a day? All I kept thinking during your video, was wow, she is consistently feeding more protein into her body! When I eat protein, I put on weight quicker than a polar bear rolling over in the snow!!! How many calories do you burn in order to level out the protein? I see that I eat much of what you are eating, but w/o all the extra supplements, etc. would appreciate any guidance with this.

Yes, I do full body usually 2-3x per week. I run those days as well. 😊

I remember from one of your other videos that you used to do a hard run and a strength day on the same day 😭😅 I wasn’t sure if you’re still doing that while training for a marathon. I’m just beginning my running journey again and didn’t want to overdo it, but still need that strength training in there!
