Elaborating on my microfiber cloth recommendation from last video- I use a white zona paper dipped in alcohol to do my paint removal, because that very very very very fine abrasion helps get it off easily. But it leaves little dusties on the dice, like what you were seeing! So then I take the dry microfiber cloth (I use the more plush kind from the hardware store) and give the dice a quick rub down all over! :)
We have some of those large microfiber ones, but I felt like they might scratch the dice. I'll trust you and try it on the next one! :)

Not only a new video from Rybonator, but also right after a disaster announcement about pride dice from WotC, this weekend could not get better
Oh what did WoTC do with their pride dice? They have been pretty hit or miss, mostly miss, lately with announcements. Especially I'm pretty upset about the Ranger class changes
LOL, gold & Rybo are synonymous in my brain. As always, fun dice & I love the inclusion of the "failures" as it's a part of the creation process not enough people admit to. Happy Pride to those who celebrate! Otherwise, happy pretty dice day to those who don't!

I love both batches, even when the first one was more edgy than the second. Those whisps of color look gorgeous, especially the blue and purple ones are lovely

I'm glad the micro fiber technique is serving you well, though you modified my technique by just doing the micro in alcohol instead of spray. I'm going to try that. Maybe it might be better. Lol. Keep up the good work, brother.

Ok the gold molds look awesome. They scream Rybonator and they made a nice contrast as you were putting different colors in. Also it’s nice to see you including the mistakes and why they happened. It’s great. The dice turned out beautifully and the gold ink works really well! Also the note bit was perfect 😂

These would look really good with the bi or pan flag. They’re only three colors so you wouldn’t have as much to worry about with blending colors. Love these dice 🎉

REALLY lovely dice! Just a question: how long do you wait for both the coloured and the transparent resin so that they don't completely blend? Do you wait more for one of the two compared to the other or are they more or less at the same level of viscosity? Because I rarely get that effect, even if they're both in "honey phase"...
I try and do it all about 10 minutes before the 40 minute cure time :) Hope that helps!

i imagine the brightness of the colour is due to the powder being like glitter- so it just disperses in the resin, where as the ink/colorant is actually tinting the resin itself making the colour more opaque. Though that's just my like basic understanding of mica powder, I don't /think/ it 'melts' or combines like an ink would but I could be wrong.
sick dice, could def get some cool wisps with the pipettes and some shifty movement. Or even go wilder and ruin some syringes for more intricate ones.

I saw this video and the brass in dice video and wondered if you ever considered getting a small vibrator and using on the side of the silicone mold to help materials sink so you can fill up to capactiy while also getting all bubble to the top pretty effortlessly? I know it's an added step to the process, but I would hope it would be a quick one for any dice where you are isnerting material.
I know a lot of people do use them, I just hadn't ever found a need..but if I do, I'll show it off :)

Careful with the alcohol and microfiber if you do it enough it will make them completing translucent. Watched a video on it 😉

Love it! I tried making my own mold and dice but quickly found that i kinda need that pessure pot as they where just way too bubbly, i tried 3 times and they just did not want to be nice..
That or i need to make single dice molds, wich is gonna be a pain in the butt since i dont use the DND dice much 😅
I usually use dice pools, so 10 d10's, but now i have a compressor for my airbrush so its only the pressure pot i am missing!
