You're a master.
Purple alcohol is my favorite alcohol, maybe.
Glad you like them Peter! Purple was a lucky guess then, I have my wife to thank for that idea.
Hope you enjoy them! I'll get them sent sometime this weekend. We all owe a lot to the OG Resin Godfather :)

RYBO MADE NEW DICE NATURE IS HEALING
And so the flowers bloomed, the trees began to blossom in the sunlight, and as the dew rests upon the grass, RYBO MADE SOME NEW DICE THAT KICK ASS
@@Rybonator Man every time a video comes by the itch to start dicemaking myself gets harder to ignore, but I don't really have a place to store the supplies in my tiny 1-bedroom apartment. Also, it's near impossible to get a pressure pot for a non-exorbitant price.
He has returned! This feels like an early wedding present can’t wait to watch with Stephen when he gets home!
CONGRATULATIONS! I don't know when it's happening, but I wish you both a lifetime of happiness :)

The dice daddy has returned.
I could never abandon my dice goblins
I would buy a t-shirt with this.
Good to see you back. Hope you're little family are doing well
Doing great my friend, thanks for asking
Rybonator, after I ink my dice, I use your method with the alcohol to remove any excess ink. Afterwards, I spray the dice with 99% IPA and use a microfiber towel to wipe off the dice. No fuzz. Also, to limit the alcohol ink, try a toothpick. Drop the ink onto a toothpick, let it drop off, then submerge into your poured resin. I use this technique to achieve wispy smoke colors in the dice. Hope this helps. Happy dice making, brother. Thanks for inspiring me to get into dice making!!!!
I am absolutely gonna do the spray and microfiber cloth method! Thanks for the tip my friend!
Also that's awesome! I hope you enjoy the hobby as much as I do :)
@Rybonator oh I am definitely enjoying the hobby, and so are my DnD group members. Lol
Welcome back! The fuzzies are from whatever paper towel you used. You probably have the softer, fluffier ones intended for home use, but for wiping down resin with alcohol, the stiff, commercial paper towels work better; they have less fuzz. If you try those and it still doesn't work, try Kimwipes. They are delicate task wipes that are lint-free to the point that you won't find lint even under a microscope.
Oh I like the idea of something specific like the Kimwipes, I'll look into those! Thanks my friend :)
Another idea would be lens cleaning wipes for cameras.
@@Rybonator a microfiber cloth might help to remove the fuzzies that are already stuck on
while shop rags work, you can also use those cheap "public bathroom paper towels" from your local home depot or costco. i use em all the time when i clean my bathroom mirrors and never have a lint problem. it's way cheaper and you can throw em out right away
I'm at work so Amber definitely beat me this time. Glad you're back! We were just saying the other day how we were hoping for a new video from ya! Hopefully all is well with the Rybo Fam!
Should be back for good now! Hopefully you get your fill more often :) Fam is doing wonderful, thanks for asking
It's odd that this video doesn't have Howard Shore music in the background, because I'd swear that this is the return of the King, let's gooooo
"My friends, you bow to no one."
I saw the brass shavings and immediately thought of the murder bowl and was delighted to see the sticker from Peter Brown in the next cut
He's the real OG, wouldn't have ever started resin work without him
Oh hey! This is almost poetic!
Today is the day that I have officially started my dice making adventure. My very first set is in my pressure pot! I can not wait till morning to see what they look like!
Thank you for all the past lesson, and the one to comes!
Dude that's awesome! I wish you the best of luck! Remember, be patient. It takes practice- you're gonna rock it :)
Good to see you back making fun math rocks. Hope you and the Rybofamily are all doing well.
Doing great! Glad to be back
I’m a simple person I see a new Rybonator video I click it. Welcome back! Those are some beautiful dice no notes.
Glad to be back my friend :) Also glad you like the math rocks!
This might genuinely be my favourite set you've ever made! Literally all my favourite colours in a big spacey gradient, with that gorgeous, rich gold lettering! 🤩
Glad you liked it so much!
Ah the return of the king bringing us more precious shinies that would totally be worth jumping into lava over! Welcome back! The dice of course turned out beautifully. I actually really like how the purple ink formed around the dice. The deep intense covering makes them look sort of mysterious and almost like there’s a hidden solar system or frozen spell shining through.
I like your description! Makes them feel mystical and magical
@@Rybonator I am and I hope you and the Rybofam are doing well too!
@@Verity_Reigns Doing great, the kiddos are a handful and perfect at the same time
hell yeah, new rybo! You could use a microfiber cloth with iso to clean the dice without the fluffy residue in the future!
I can't believe I didn't think of that. I'll certainly give it a shot! You rock
Quick, quick. New Rybonator. Must watch!
Hope you enjoy
Glad to see you back! Maybe you can dip a needle (or a toothpick if the needle is too small) in a drop of the alcohol ink and then dip it into the resin to avoid getting too much color in the dice.
That was my thinking! I'll have to give that a shot
To get a smaller drop of alcohol ink, I use the tip of a toothpick. I don't know how to explain it properly, but if you run the ink down a toothpick then when the drop at the tip of the pick is the size you want, you just touch the resin with it.
Also when it comes to removing the excess paint after doing the numbers, I do a quick polish with the white zona, then after rinsing in water a buff with a glasses cleaning cloth.
Perfect idea! I'll have to try it. A lot of people are saying to use the microfiber cloths, so y'all seem to have a good thing going!
Welcome back! I hope life is treating you and your family well :)
Glad to be back, and we're doing great my friend, thanks for asking
For the fuzz: generally if you use a microfiber cloth, it shouldent leave any of the stuff a papertowel would. Incredible job btw!!
That sounds perfect! I'll absolutely try that. Thanks Andrew!
Agreed! If you still have fuzz after that from, the cloth or if you have pets or something, I've seen people use tape, kinda like a lint roller. So happy you're back~

Wow, choosing silver glitter over gold is a bit surprising for our gold loving dice goblin! Lol, was super excited for this notification, & have not been disappointed.
The king has returned in all his golden glory! Glad to see you back, its not the same making dice without watching one of your videos
Now you have some more background noise! :)
Pro tip - when you get to the last zona paper you should use some polishing compound like scratch x in conjunction with water. Total game changer
Will report back on this!
making the numbers out of metal on sprues that you put into the mold and then filling in the shapes with resin could be really cool
I was going on a binge of your videos when I saw this in the playlist. Glad to see another video. A friend and I have started making dice recently and have used many of your tutorials.
The results for these dice are really nice. Can never go wrong with a galaxy and I'm a sucker for those metallic paints/ink for the numbering.
Hope you and your family are doing well and I look forward to whatever you cook up next.
You happen to be the first to catch this while I had it unlisted! Congrats on finding a secret video haha.
I'm glad you like what I do, and that you liked these dice as well! Good luck on you and your friend's dice making journey :) I know you'll do great!

I was thinking to myself “man I should really go back and watch the Rybonator vids. I miss that guy and need inspiration”
and HE’S BACK
THE KING HAS RETURNED
I think I can say it for a lot of us. Welcome back. 😊
Good to be back my friend :)
Two of my fave creators know of eachother and share materials! WOO! The dice look amazing and make me think of space wizards.
Microfiber for those little fuzzes. You can use the microfiber with the alcohol and avoid them in the first place too.
I have a "cleaning cloth" meant for cleaning TV screens, it's basically the microfiber you get with a new pair of glasses but the size of a paper towel. Godsends those things are, I got mine from the brazilian rainforest.
I clicked as soon as the notification came in. That's some awesome therapy for my dice-hoarder-heart. These dice rule and look awesome.
Those turned out gorgeous! I think there's still a bit of swirling/marbling effect with the alcohol ink, when the light hits them right. This was an awesome crossover episode; it's cool to see crafting UA-camrs interacting with and supporting each other like this
Peter's the absolute best! He is the nicest dude :) Glad you liked the dice!
I CANNOT believe PETER BROWN noticed you! This is so awesome!
He's a good dude! Super nice and always happy to help. Love that guy :)
Came out the mysterious woods with an absolutely marvelous set!
If you're gonna make a come back, MAKE A COME BACK :D
Aw heck, Rybo is alive. Wooo these are awesome! Heck yeah, galaxy murder dice with Peter Brown
Peter Brown is the OG resin youtuber. He'll was here before us, and he'll be here long after I have to go back and get a real job again.
I want you to know that I got into dice making because of you! Love to you and your family!
That's so cool! I hope you enjoy the hobby! It's better with YOU in it now
A new Rybonator!
For the fuzz you need a lit free wipe 😊 nail people use that a lot! You'll find them with nail stuff at any store you can found nail polish!
These are contenders for my favorite set you've ever made! I like the depth of the purple here, but would definitely be interested in seeing other iterations of the concept~
RYBO IS BACK!!! now just waiting for pumpkins, so I can steal again!!
Using a microfiber cloth is a great way to remove the after-alcohol smudges, and a bit of scotch tape is amazing for the dust!
That seems to be the consensus, i'll give it a shot!
You gotta find the honey stage for your resin. Let it sit until it seems almost unpourable, then do everything exactly like you did it here.
I worried about getting voids since I'm trying to have it slip up and over the inserts. But I'll give it a shot!
Yes... It's good to see Rybo and his math rocks that make the beautiful click clack sounds return
I'm a simple man. I like math rocks that make the clicks and the clacks
Maybe using a toothpick for the alcohol ink? Hear me out on this. Like from what it looked like, a single drop of the alcohol ink could have worked for all of the dice. So maybe do a drop where you have the two sided dice in the model, then using a toothpick or even a needle, use that to have smaller and more controlled drops. Could do a complete experiment to see if this idea works. But it would be interesting if this idea works.
The man chooses a wonderful color to make his returning debut!
Couldn't come back without something golden! :)
to get smaller drops of ink you can put a luer lock/slip needle in whatever size you want over the bottle nozzle, its the correct size to interface
Oh I hadn't ever heard of that, I'll have to look into those needles
LO AND BEHOLD, THE KING RETURNETH FROM HIS QUEST TO BLESS US WITH HIS KNOWLEDGE!

and on the 100th day the clouds parted. and a ray of light cascaded through the land focusing on the summoning crystal. It glowed a wicked black that turned gold and royal, we avert our eyes to find when we opened them the crystal was gone. The goblin had returned.
Glad to see you back in action, Rybonator! Those are some incredibly beautiful dice, even with a little more purple than intended. Best wishes to you and the family.
Glad to be back my friend! Thank you for the kind wishes

I was just thinking about your channel a week ago since I enjoy watching your crafting before my bedtime! Nice! 🎲
Perfect timing! Now you have a new bedtime vid :) (Also this makes me happy, as my favorite youtubers are the ones I watch to get ready for/go to bed to.)
Good to see you appear in the subscriptions again.
I finally got to the point i could make my own molds and dice. Not so lucky yet with the dice themselves sadly, lot of voids and bubbles. You really inspired me
You'll get there, just keep practicing! :)
That bronze ink was the icing on the dice. I am going to need to order some of that!
MY COMFORT CHANNEL HAS RETURNED!! glad to see you back bro!!
Glad to be back my friend! It makes me happy that I'm your comfort channel
For the alcohol ink, try dipping a toothpick or skewer in it and swirling it that way! It should create more of that whispyness that you're looking for because it deposits less ink.
Glad to see you back. I have a metal shavings and scraps too, but they are steel from blacksmithing so I think that would be much more difficult to get to make good dice that roll properly out of.
Use specific lint free wipes...that's what us nail techs use before we apply top coat.
That's super smart! Nail techs have given me a lot of good advice in my dice making lifetime
You’re a naughty naughty boy! Don’t leave us alone so long again…(welcome back 🥰)
I love sharing your videos with the family. Glad to have you back
If you go to the automotive section of Walmart you can buy blue shop towels that will prevent the fuzz from showing up as much. Another trick is to use your miniature painting skills. Mix a little more water into some miniature paints (the fanatic paints work well for this) and touch inside one of the numbers, the surface tension will fill the dice number with the color and be very smooth. Takes longer but gives you a nicer result.
I used to use shop towels, and never had this issue, so maybe yeah I need to go back. I'll have to try the water technique! Isn't that mostly for oil paints to have it spread like that?
@@Rybonator yeah I'm actually the Zythe guy in the discord if you have any questions about mini painting (I'm the one posting up in there often). Over diluting the paint will cause the same effect and if you use a strong pigmented paint you'll get the same effect. Oils do it better but for numbers regular acrylic model paint will be more than sufficient
So glad to see you back and making dice!
Great to see you back making videos. I hope the family are doing well!
Great to see you back and hope y‘all are doing excellent over there ❤
RYBO!! I've missed the dice videos. Happy to see you're okay.
Gorgeous dice! Brilliant colour choices
Amazing to have you back! These dice are absolutely beautiful!! Also, I know someone else mention it but a toothpick is the key to smaller droplets of ink. Can't wait to see more!

After the super chonk dice backer bit, you got me wondering if brass shavings would look really neat on a much bigger core scale. These ones turned out great. I'm glad to see you sending them to Peter 👍
Ohh I bet they would look fantastic on that scale. Could really be something interesting
glad to see you back! the dice turned out great, they give major Treasure Planet vibes
I think lint free wipes or cloth is what you are looking for to avoid the fuzz
I LOVE DICE!!!!!!!
Who doesn't!?
THE KING IS BACK!! These are so cool!
Glad you like them! :D
My favorite thing to clean off dice with is a white zona paper. They don't get all that annoying fuzzy material on the dice because of the tight weave of the paper. And they're reusable for quite a few rounds of cleaning until they start to shred.

This set ROCKS! I have only one set of dice and it's purple galaxy, so your set looks like mine - just elevated to the sky.
11:03 - I totally agree with your conclusion that there is too much happening inside other dice and they also too thick to hold your intended vibe. I suppose, if you want to make "a drop if ink in water" effect, it's better to use a clear inner dice, or, maybe, a bit milky to emphosise the ink.
Welcome Back! You've been missed!
Thanks Jason! Glad to be back, missed y'all too!
Our goblin boss has returned!
Rybo's back! and with some freaking epic dice! It's good to see you again!

I haven't seen your videos for a long time! very cool, glad to see projects with dices again. Well, to support the algorithms - likes and comments are included
They look so cool 🤩🤩
Maybe less ink may make the interior shine more
HE'S BACK BABY! So pumped to see a video from you! For the final step of my dice I go back in with the white zona on my small pottery wheel and hit every side for a few seconds. This really helps get off any streaks or material left over after wiping them with alcohol and just makes them super clean and clear. A bit much but once I started doing that last step I can't not do it haha
I think to get tendrils I would take a small amount of the resin to dye purple and then use a pipette to drop a couple of drops of the dyed resin into the clear that you put in the mold. Also nice to see a video from you again!
I'm actually planning that for my next set! So we'll see how it works :) Thanks by the way! Glad you liked it
