Yes, it was. A storm system had just passed during the night, and the winds were what followed. Didn’t damper my experience, though. Enjoyed every minute of it!❤️🏝️

The story behind the taxation is really interesting. What a beautiful place.

Back in the day, they use to have a lot of problems with tax fraud, Ponzi schemes, and other financial scams because of the tax free status. However, regulations and security has gotten tighter over the years, so those types of occurrences do not happen as often as it once did. The whole island is very clean and well kept. Was well worth the trip.

$7 billion in assets are held in Cayman Island banks. That is a TON of money!
