I appreciate the time you take to put these videos together as this was a great accomplishment for me. I’m no pro. Just got into fishing 3 years ago but it took me that long to finally catch a fish! Wish i seen this sooner man! Thanks! 🙏 💯 💪🏼

Full respect that you cooked the fish whole... So many high end fisherman youtubers with sponsored boats and drones, yet they dont know how to eat a fish without filleting the meat and turning it into a mayonnaise wrap... You did it right and with your partner :)

Been living near the shore for 3 years, tried surf fishing many times, and I only ever caught one fish in all that time. Watched a couple of your videos, got the right gear, used your techniques, and had my first fish in 15 minutes. I actually felt like I knew what I was doing, which was wild. As a funny side note, l had another much more experienced fisherman come over and give me compliments on my technique, which was even more wild. Thanks so much! Excited to try again tomorrow.

Wow! Love this video, my granddaughter is learning so much about fishing with you guys, from these videos . We live in FL and she would to go fishing with you guys someday soon. That was a nice catch Erin we enjoyed watching you reel it in. Keep on making these videos. You have so much knowledge and is an inspiration to many young people, who loves fishing but do not have anyone to teach them. That goes for the adults as well, who would love to fish. Thankyou so much for making these videos.

apply with red onion and garlic spices cut into pieces mix sweet soy sauce, then apply on half-baked fish, and apply again after cooking
    like us in Indonesia
It must be delicious, or it can be eaten with sweet soy sauce with chili and red onion pieces

Put a light coat of Olive oil on the fish prior to putting it on the grill, as well as brush a light coat on the grill itself with a napkin. That will keep the fish together and from sticking to the gill.

She was so excited, but not like I was! She definitely hooked now and can’t wait to get out there with me again! Wife has always been my partner in everything I’ve done with her but that trip we did really topped it all! We love all your videos and suggest to anyone who wants to learn how to fish in the real world watch Senkos videos. You won’t be sorry! Thanks again guys!

That was a beauty of a Pompano, such a good fighting fish too. Also, when I surf fish, I bring sand spikes that are around 4ft long and I use a rubber mallet to drive over half of it in. It might be a bit much, but it definitely gives me some peace of mind when I step away from my gear for a minute or two.

In your opinion, whats more important fishing Early Morning or At Night which is what I guess is the “stereotyped” way of fishing...or is the tides more important? Or! They go hand in hand lol. Thanks!

hour before the sun comes up in the morning, and hour as the sun goes down in the evening. Prime time....but for another type of fishing that's a little more primitive and always done at night, while you shuffle your feet through shin high water...flounder gigging.
yo my man senko skipper, gotta good one for yall to try on this Flounder gigging. Just need good sandy bottom and clear water. Less wind the better. Also never on a full moon. ok, so find some sand bars bayside. You can find spots along the shoreline, and boat isn't necessary. You just need sandy bottom and clear water. If the water is higher than the middle of your shins you're probably too deep. I've stuck em' with the water as low as just over the tops of my ankles.
You can use an underwater light you can find at your sporting goods store or online, and you'll need a motorcycle battery, a backpack, and simple electrical wire with connectors and alligator clips attached to the end. Youll also need a gig, found at your sporting goods store online. Or you can make them with broomsticks and large long nails or screws. If you don't want the light, you can make your own with a propane lantern. Put foil around the back half of the glass so it shines directly in front of you on the ground. Careful that thing will brand your legs like a moo cow if it touches you. Recommend the lights. I've used both, and won't use lanterns again to gig flounder. Under water lights with small motorcycle battery in back pack only way to go. Check Academy's website online - underwater gigging lights. Youll also need a stringer you can tie to your belt loop, and an old pair of shoes.
So there you have it. Gig, Underwater gig light/or propane lantern, back pack, motorcycle battery, electrical wire and clips to connect on the battery. Stringer. Shoes. Sandy bottom. OFF.
Pro tip. From the point/tip of your gig, measure up the gig 14 inches or whatever the limit size is for flounder in your state, and make a circle around it with a sharpee marker. When you walk up on a flounder, (always sliding your feet) they're usually half buried in the sand and not moving. You can take your gig and put it in the water right next to it, and measure to make sure he's a keeper.
Pro tip. Stay close with your gal. Me and my gf sometimes will hold hands standing right next to each other making a sweeping motion with our lights outside then back inside, covering a huge area. When you see a flounder, first make sure it's not a sting ray, which is obvious, but you might see one. Sting Ray's are scared of you and easily spooked off with your gig. You're also always sliding your feet so you have nothing to worry about.
When you stick your first saddle blanket, stay down on the gig. Get your lady to hold your light, and if needed assistance with keeping the gig down in the ground. You'll then string up the flounder either poking the stringer in right behind his teeth, or up through under his bottom lip. From the bottom side of his mouth. Then move on to the next.
Good luck. Use a go pro, this should be your next video...let me know if you catch, I've got a recipe for blackened flounder that will make you slap yo momma. Two fillets off each saddle carpet.
      Peace reflection
      And happy fishing.
      Jhold
