You inspired me in so many ways, I use run a lot before in London then I broke my arm and put on 30kg :( I Started taking serious on my running again because of YOU, I did 10days in a row before I had an injury nowwww I’m on day 14, I want to keep going, even though I run in a humidity in Saudi Arabia which is tough, since I’m working here now. Honestly I even started buying equipments you use, your inspiration to all people around the world, remember that, so big thank you for being Yourself.
wow thank you so much for that! thanks for sharing! definitely listen to your body and ease into it. I don't want you to have to stop because of any other injuries! make sure you're doing proper recovery and if it's too hot try to find the coolest parts of the day to safely run at. super proud of your dedication!
I always feel weird running at the gym. I look to both sides, everyone is walking or slow running. I start running and making so much noise! I just put some earphones on and try to forget I'm probably being observed.
Haha....same. I've been a regular gym treadmill users for about 4 years now. In all that time the vast majority of people I've seen use treadmills have either been walking or use it for about 15 minutes MAX. The percentage of people doing any speed over 12 kmph for any reasonable amount of time is absolutely minimal. It's mostly women beside each other at walking speed having a chat.
LOl same here. I'm always paranoid that my steps are too loud like CLOMP CLOMP CLOMP so I try to run "smooth" and less noisy. Then I always feel like I'm breathing too loud so now I'm paranoid that I'm running too loud and breathing too loud. Now I'm just silent when running LOL.. I'm like a ninja. But towards the end I'm so tired I don't even give a flying fuck and I'm huffin and puffin while taking loud clomping steps =D. I like sprinting but like your gym, no one ever sprints on the treadmills or on the indoor track that we have. I'm literally the only one sprinting around the track lol... But we also have the manual treadmil like the one in the video, it's pretty damn fun. I'm going to see if I can even hit 19mph. I know I can do 15mph but 20mph seems kinda fast, doubt I can even get 18 probably.
Tried the curve inning machine for the first time today. Got up to 18mph max. Really pleased with that for a man in his mid 40’s ✌🏻 Great channel too 👏🏻
I hit 22 at 47yrs. I do 1:50s at 7 then sprint 10s then 1:50s at 7 for 10 sets. It’s very effective and 171BPM feels comfortable considering it’s 97% of peak HR for a man my age.
You inspire me to be a better runner. I just wanted to tell you that anyone who runs more than 3 miles is an ELITE runner and are among the best runners in the world! I just finished my 7 mile run today I’m build to a half marathon for St. Judes
So true what you said, it's opposite for me. My distance running has suffered since I've been focusing on interval sprints. I do 30 sec max effort sprints on the curve x2 a week and max out in the mid to low 20-25mph at 193lbs. I'm trying to have a balance of interval training & a distance run in the same week. I loved seeing this video! Thanks!
Hi, can you use one of these mechanical curve treadmills for jogging/running during 1 hour or more? Or is it only for intensity routines? Can you have an injury for doing so? I'm a normal runner
Man I tried running on this treadmill and it was way harder than running on a regular treamill. This is my go to treadmill. I wish I had one of these in my home.
Great, but be sure you are properly warmed up. If you developing speed follow the sprinting rule of."short to long"or micro-managing or you can get injured. Great video.👍💯
Did my first workout on a Woodway today because of watching your videos. Sitting at 202lbs and was topping out at 18-19mph bursts. Absolutely love the machine and like another comment here will likely add it to my program for 2x sessions each week. Great workout!!! Thanks for the detailed video.
You should make a video of your fastest mile or fastest 800m judging from the speeds you can reach and your mileage i think you can hit a decent time on atleast the 800m
I am about to pick up a curved treadmill like this. So for sprints do I move toward the front of machine and walking is more toward the middle? Thanks!
the one in my gym is so damn loud i hate using it because when i’m hitting like 16/17mphs everyone looks at me i feel so bad that i don’t let them hear their music
I’m trying to burn this fat around that sits on abdomen. Been exercising for 45 minutes almost every day. My diet intake is mostly high fiber protein and fruits and vegetables. Any advise for me ? I would honestly appreciate it. Also congrats! I like the message at the end.
hey you're on the right track. just keep consistent with working out and eating clean. Like Cameron said, you can't specifically target one area but over time you'll definitely see the fat decrease there. Make sure you're changing up your workouts, too!
I have not tried to run fast since college, which is almost 30 years ago. I have lost all my speed and now I'm slow as shit. I can run for hours, but my fastest 400m is 8 min.
I have some videos where I talk about this. Basically I played soccer my whole life up to pro level and during college and after I lifted weights a lot and heavy. I was very muscular and when I started my running journey I stopped lifting because I wanted to achieve the look I have now (what I call my in season body) that I always got when soccer season started and I started running a ton again.
You are not going to hit faster speeds on subsequent sets. It does not work in sprinting. You want to warm up properly then sprint. The first proper sprint is going to be the fastest. The sets only helps build up sprint endurance intraining.
I don't see how this is an effective workout for long-distance running...intervals of 2M, 1M, 800m and 400m would be way more effective imo. Just going for top speed for a few seconds will not increase your aerobic fitness...it will increase anaerobic fitness.
@@Jumbiiiee yeah but he says its good for your Vo2 max and aerobic fitness...makes him seem kinda implausible. He is inspiring and all, but I think he should do his research before giving advice...

How does that treadmill work do U just sprint ? Or do u pick ur speed ?
Note: no static stretches before a run. All stretches should be dynamic
