I got a basic cheap treadmill so I could walk inside. I never run, so I know this tye of product isnt my jam. But I love the way you can use this like a sled.
I have to agree with the others on the price of these things, plus I'm like U Gluck, I can't stand to run on a treadmill, I always feel like I'm gonna fall and the I get on them bored very quickly. I bought a very nice $400 stationary bike, I can get about 30 min out of it then I start getting bored and it's time to get off, also I have very nice paved roads in my neighborhood with a lot of different distances I marked out to walk or run, but the best cardio piece I have is my 22 x 40 inground pool in the backyard that I can use 7 months out of the year. I can burn tons of calories in the pool and be refreshed while I'm doing it. It's the Best Cardio piece ever Great In Depth Review as always Take Care
I never understood why these manual treadmills were so expensive, and why was 5k the price point to sell them all at? Are they really all built like a Maserati? A tear down of one of these things would be an awesome watch personally.
The Bells Blitz takes a pain in the arse machine to a more pain in the arse machine. With That increased incline on the BB it makes me think of a cardio machine that's always on incline and I also seem to look at it like one of those jacob's ladder machines. No thx... I'll stick with the regular pain in the arse types of the assaults and trueforms. Good review!
@@GlucksGym You might be a BoS shadow account with how much you post them but no one can doubt you lift, and that's surprising in the home gym review space
Was going to comment on the "winter" thing, but it appears that's been covered. Seems like a good option for someone who wants to do sleds indoors but doesn't have the room. But that price... Ouch...
I hit on this in the video but these are not all made the same. Tru Grit has gotten into trouble for stealing ideas (many of these companies have), cutting corners, and filed for bankruptcy all within the last year. Because a product looks similar doesn't mean it is.
WITH PRICE AS NO OBJECT... how does this compare with Technogym Skillmill? I noticed you said at 0:52 that it is a "budget Technogym" and I am just wondering just HOW MUCH so. Like is it 70% as good or is it basically indistinguishable?
@@GlucksGym do you still use it or miss the assault runner after 6 months from filming? I enjoy my assault runner but really like the idea of the BOS mimicking a sled/deadmill (not a typo) it's actually what I miss about my old motor treadmill...
let's say, hypothetically and just for argument's sake, that I'm a tubby couch potacho and I want to walk on a treadmill while pointlessly downloading youtube videos into my brain; would the greater minimum resistance provide an obstacle to long casual strolls? Also, since I have already pointlessly downloaded tons of afformentioned fitness youtube into my brain, I'm intrigued by fitness cult stuff like frontwards and akwards sled drags and whatever a fartlek turns out to be and so enjoy the prospect of buying an extra $1500 worth of feeling fit that a more expensive treadmill gets you, but I also loathe the idea of buying an extra $1500 worth of anything. Since lots of high effort running isn't what I'm looking forward to, is this taipei technogym a good way to walk and goof off, or will it join my gungnir dumblers as extremely cool kit I probably wasted my money on? Thanks for any thoughts.
my two cents as a fat lazy slob who detests running, and cant really run without getting hurt anyway: I think being able to add resistance for longer slower walks is a very very smart thing, its gives the possibility of increasing caloric expenditure by LOAD instead og by added SPEED/DURATION which for us fat guys who like to lift is way easier to motivate oneself for, reasonably time efficient, and with lower injury risk than actually running and getting tons of impacts.
It looks too small. Also you both looking like your running cramped or scared or gingerly like you’re in pain. Seems like you could never get comfortable using it.
Code Gluck10Treads saves $500 on the Bells Blitz treadmill! Code will only work for the next 2 weeks!

“How to make cardio worse”😂😂😂😂. So entertaining!!
😁 Thank you!
Great review. Thanks for all the information and entertainment:)
Anytime 😁
Just came by to watch Gluck ACTUALLY do cardio :)
Times are tough around here
Assault runner is really the best manual treadmill option for distance running
I agree. I do long runs on mine all the time.
How far you run on it?
What about the trueform?
I never understood why these manual treadmills were so expensive, and why was 5k the price point to sell them all at? Are they really all built like a Maserati? A tear down of one of these things would be an awesome watch personally.
Yes, I would like to know as well.
Gluck: gets a $5000 treadmill.
Curls it. 🤣
Video Idea?: See if it works under water and run on it with a weight vest lol
Or I guess could start off small and see if it works in the rain lol
5,000$ these companies are out of their minds.
Please make me one for $4000. Thanks!
We need more high school and college gluck
😂😂😂

Hold up! When did you film this? You just said it was winter in the video…🤣
DEAR ARNOLD ALMIGHTY! Like We know winnie has fans but Glucks arms are jacked AF, posting to start a new Glucks Arms Fan club
Hahaha. Obviously I love this comment.

Tell other companies to drop new stuff and they'll get videos too 😂

It's crazy the cheapest manual treadmill basically starts at $3K.
Would this be good for backwards walking. I want something that simulates knees overtoes guy's backwards sled walk
I was considering this until i saw the price. Aussiepro runner and tru grit runner are almost identical and are both around 3k

Having recently renewed my Red Cross training, I can state that having any part of your body on fire is a bad thing. So I am opposed to this.
Would really like to get a review on Xebex Airplus Runner Smart Connect that you showed at 09:06.
This definitely looked like a brutal workout lol
Winter there?... Was part of this filmed awhile ago or did you mistake the seasons?
Filmed in February 😂

I don't think I'd miss either one 😂 the Assault was easier to run on but I avoided it all costs. This I find other uses for
Boom goes the dynamite
Curious if you could use the resistance and block up the front to mimic going uphill?
That is a insane price for a "tread mill". Alot of gym equipment for a home set up vs buying just this.
Looks like they need to collaborate with @Massenomics for a drink spotter lite on either side for drinks and phones
If that had been out when we filmed this 6 months ago I might've come up with a good joke for it!
Bit of a luxury item.
What's the latest on BoS Skorpios belt squat? Saw the prototype on email then nothing...no updates or. Release date
Last I heard (this week) it's pretty far out
Alright Gluck, running or squats daily forever? No riding the line!
... I don't like you 😂 I'd probably run
@@GlucksGym 🤣 Sounds like you both should sign up for Squatober with me!
How much energy you have to spend to earn 5k?
Where are you, how is it winter?
This was filmed months ago but it was out of stock
4:30 it's winter? Are you in Australia?

Oh my Wynie….
I watched this for the Gluck quality, not because I have any interest in cardio equipment. Cardio is the devil!
We need more people like you
Anyone here shopping for under desk treadmills that will get and keep you going?
Did BoS provide the treadmill?
Yes. I always make a point to say when something is sent for a review. Thought I did in this one as well but apologies if I didn't.
@@GlucksGym you probably did and I just missed it.
They really missed out on calling this the “sledmill”
That name's already been taken

ya thats waaaay to expensive lol. No water holder for 5k??? What?! O wait we have an attachment coming.... smh
Those treadmills are so much harder than a classic one. Adding the resistance on top of that makes it even worse
Seriously, it's brutal
im the first person named baylee to comment
You have over 300 comments on the channel and I'm willing to bet you're always the first Baylee
Huh, I always thought the Devil's Bicycle was a sex position.
i 'll take running away from cops, or away from a bunch of angry dogs than on a treadmill
Both are cheaper but I feel like the payoff might be risky
