For one or two cinematic orbits it works. But otherwise you need to remember your 180 degree rule. You shouldn't turn the camera more than 180 degrees around or no one can keep track of where things are in space.
Spinning in one direction makes people (me) feel dizzy, so it may help if as you're giving a 360 view, you then turn around the other way, or for the next shot turn the other way. This is actually really helpful. For example, if you spin in real life in one direction really fast you'll get dizzy, but you can turn equally as fast in opposite directions after every spin and not get dizzy at all.

maybe cool for shorts and intros but maybe not for a long time video. We are soo used to playing and watching the game in top down ish view that this is kind of hard to comprehend whats happenning
could you please watch an entire vide once more time but only the minimap , did you miss anything ?

(PS: I also don't like the panning. We know BAR can be beautiful in terms of models and effects. But first and foremost I watch these casts for strategic gameplay and tactics as source of entertainment. IMO tactical understanding like minimap visibility, moving camera to points of conflict, explanation of possible strategies is always worth more than camera moving for aesthetics.)
Riveting camera controls! Loved it, getting deeper into the action. The elevation changes look particularly great.
Another cool thing you can do with this is to "track" a unit (preferably a fighter plane) and look around while it makes it rounds over the map.
Small point of feedback, the pans are cool, but made me feel like I was gonna throw up. Less is more I think.

Not a fan of how much you used the orbit camera. It's incredibly hard to track whats going on.
Really glad to hear about the cataphract buff for cor, but when is that supposed to go live?
I really dug the cinematic mode, was really cool. You could really get into the dynamic nature of the game.
There is a map rotate widget, I saw listed once.
Also the full screen minimal was really, really useful.

in the settings you can toggle the camera flipping depending on your view

I do like the orbit camera, I just think its way too fast. To the point of being disorienting and it might make some folks sick.
Slow it down, use it a bit more sparingly, and I think it would be perfect.
I loved the cinematic style camera for the most part. You definitely shouldn't overdo it, but when there's nothing too interesting going on otherwise it's no problem playing around a bit with it. Maybe also good to wait till a little bit later into the match so people can first get their bearings and understand where everyone is on the map. And I guess the mini-map flipping around also doesn't help.

It might just be that I just woke up, but I found my eyes unfocusing when you were doing your cinematic maneuvers. Can't really parse the action when it's all rotating around. I would make sure that you're always keeping north forwards/atop and using this for a more narrow range of approach. Was getting a little nauseated too.
@9:47 Radar jammers don't cloak enemies though?....
I personally love the dizzycam.. Can you still track a single unit in that camera mode Bright?

I also agree with the folks in the comments. This camera view is nice but it's not ideal to keep it on the whole game.
Purple and dark green took way too long winning south with that mountain fort.

Nice, this will attract a new audience, now make some story lines where you can see from start to finish an attack from the point of view of an bot or vehicle.

On the camera, I like the cinematics, but I would like it if you were more specific in choosing when to take a cinematic "shot" and without so much spinning, and fairly short - about 10 seconds. But please don't do it rarely! I really like them!
BAR has already enough happening i don't think you need camera movement too, except for maybe com duels or something like that. Also Ass Sweat not taking the 4.2 and cleaning mid definitely hurt. He rolled me today in ffa. He is a very strong player.

TBH, not that much of a fan of the swirling camera. If it could be locked to North South orientation it would be better, but the turning makes it extremely hard to grasp what's actually happening. Also, flipping the minimap so much is rough. I kinda need to know where north and south are even when watching a local fight.

When its a race between events happening on opposite sides of the map is the worst time to go into cinematic mode and hide the minimap and hyperfocus on one area. Better to use it during lulls in the action.
I really hate these camera shenanigans with a passion. Love your casts though. So please reseve cinematic mode for a few special moments. Avoid big sweeps, keep the minimap on (and not flipped!). Would appreciate!

I hate that free view. It is fun for the one that uses it, but bad for those that watch the video.
Fun but very disorientating. It is almost impossible to follow the battle. Please use sparingly.
