Nice to see static defenses being used well, I think they're probably very underused. The higher tier defenses are crazy efficient if used properly, but I think there's still a role for cheap T1 stuff even late in the game, I've seen many situations in these casts where someone's built a ton of eco but they have absolutely nothing to deal with leaks, no AA, no walls or mines to restrict enemy movement, etc. the cost of putting that up would be trivial for them, but they ignore it and their entire base blows up while they're building their 16th AFUS.

Why do people think cruisers like the paladin are support ships? what says that about them? They have vastly better health and dps per cost than destroyers. They are barely more expensive. They are longer sight range, shorter attack range. They have a marginally better depth charge launcher. And they do absolutely no AOE. single target dps only. Don't let the turret fool you, the paladin has gauss, not plasma weaponry. Cruisers are brawlers. they beat the brakes off of destroyers at close range. They just don't do it 1v6. Because they need to be in close and trading to work well, and a cost ratio is somewhere between 1.04 and 1.14 destroyers per cruiser, in metal. Doubly so for the bucaneer, which is a short range laser boat, subject to laser falloff. Support ship? no. Point blank dps ship that is not particularly vulnerable to AOE, unlike T1 short range gunboats.

Those com snipes flipped this game on it head.

Armada torpedo bombers are good because their T1 regular bombers are sad 😅

Nonono, u missed all the glorious air-south. Air-south shot down 2 of Friheten constructor planes b4 it hit on transport, at start. Then air won the North-sea , and won lvl2 air-off, at noth sea island. Then south-air provoked 3 enemy players to get into air, and got all that eco/metal. Then air ... yea i somehow think the air role should be lightened like a supernova here. But ithats cause i think Dr_No alias Checkbox is the greatest, ever. Ever ever eer er errr

Not a morale victory, all commanders died.

This is a really interesting one to see how things snowball from tiny differences. Potato takes 3 of green's mex, so green gets rolled by polygon. So Towns has to flex down, leaving Nezah to freely T3. But the Blue payer realises that their team have won the air so instead switches into bombers that can make an impact quicker than the T3 from red can.

Looks like Red team's backline really dropped the ball in the north, failing to back up the guy who had the advantage up there, then building up defenses when his frontline collapsed. If they had been able to fend off those marauders, or were prepared for that contingency they would have been in a much better position. Though all the same, if they had been able to defeat Blue once and for all at sea, they'd probably be able to rebuild, and force Blue team to go T3 instead of trying to retake the sea.
