Dang, that was very well played by the blue team. I don't recall the red team air player sending an air scout early. Might have made a difference.

It’s funny when he talks about all the solar Lawlington had built, saying it would be a hefty chunk of metal to put toward the afus, conveniently ignoring that he had 3500 metal in the bank and was energy stalling

16:40 one of the main reasons to go for fusion reactors in a 1v1 is for the tempo.

i'd personally like to see a little more 1v1s

i just had an epiphany; different coloured metal deposits around the map should contribute a different look (mainly colour/tint) to a unit built using said metal. it would be kind of fun to see a unit with a blue tint, knowing it was built in a region of the map where there are blue metal deposits. it would also indicate whether a player has a high value metal resource node. perhaps the unit could also have initial exp to denote the better quality materials used to construct it. just random idea thoughts.

As someone who has been called out for low OS and generally also sucking at the game I can confirm it did just kinda turn me off to playing BAR multiplayer in general. It's one of those things were you try and look specifically for noob friendly lobbies but without fail someone will end up just calling you shit by the end of the game, which is 100% true but how am I ever gonna learn if I can't even play the game. But that was just my own short and interesting experience with BAR multiplayer, but even if I don't come back at least we can all just enjoy some chill casting from the Brightworks, so take the good with the bad.

every time someone toxic critiques my low OS upon immediate start to the game I just go over and self D a unit next to their e converters when they get a few built up, usually they rage quit after that because if they're tilted enough to comment on my OS, they're already pissed off from losing/being a loser. stay toxic bois

I really feel that the BAR community needs to firmly and responsibly call out and not engage with its toxic members. If we all collectively agree they dont suit the community then theyll die out.
