Maybe he's a man whose life was in such turmoil without the help of anybody to even care just a little bit. Instead of taking his own life he took his helplessness out on others. We now look at mental illness as people of the devil when he probably was crying out for help for years just to be ignored and pushed aside. Once in prison, the mentally ill do not receive the level of mental health services they need and ultimately end up released into society with the rest of us. Sad, scary situation

When you don't have friends and family around you you can easily go insane because there are never people to correct your behavior, go against your opinion and help you see other angles to views. So over time you become your own yes man and everything you think say and do is the correct answer to you. This is super dangerous and that's when evil sets in and takes over to do the rest.
